Keijo is a sport that takes place on a platform in the water called the land. It is there that girls try and knock each other off using just their butts and chests. If you fall into the water or something besides your feet touches the floor you automatically lose. It has been the dream of Nozomi Kaminashi to not only become a pro, but to become the best Keijo player their is. Now she has finally got accepted to Seitouchi, one of the only two Keijo schools. However, not only does she not make it to the elite class, she gets put in room 309, known as the empty room. The reason it got that nickname is because everyone who gets put in it tends to drop out because they can't keep up with everyone else. Does Nozomi have what it takes to fulfill her dream?
Keijo sounds weird but it was surprisingly good. It was the same kind of feeling I got after watching Manyu Scroll. While the premise makes it sound likes it won't be good, it actually ends up being really entertaining. I should also mention that I don't typically watch sports anime, so the fact that I watched it all the way through is saying something. Also I never thought that I would ever find an anime that has as many butt jokes as Keijo does. There is a bath scene when the team goes to Kyoto for a competition, as well as multiple scenes where the girls swimsuits get torn revealing their skin. The majority of the show shows the girls in swimsuits so if that is something that you would like to avoid, be aware. Anyway so long as you don't mind something unique with some fan service, I would suggest giving it a try.
