The Strongest Job is Apparently not a Hero or a Sage, But an Appraiser (Provisional)!

One day while Hibiki Manabe was at school, he walks into a room and runs into a bright flash of light. Suddenly he finds himself in another world. In this world he is given skills by the chief god, god of magic, and medicine god. Because his job is appraiser, he doesn't start out with any offensive skills, making him weaker than most. However, the gods do everything in their power to make sure he is able to live. He soon meets an elf named Emalia who acts as his guide. But, how long will Hibiki be able to rely on others to survive without improving himself?

The strongest job is apparently not a hero or a sage, but an appraiser (provisional) was okay. I typically like most isekai anime, but this one had one of my pet peeves. All the main character talks about is going home. It felt similar to other isekai anime like Arifureta, Chillin in Another World with My Level 2 Super Cheat Powers, The Rising of the Shield Hero, and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. Arifureta, Chillin in Another World with My Level 2 Super Cheat Powers, and The Rising of the Shield Hero all contain characters that want to go home. However, Arifureta makes up for it with its action and comedy, and Chillin in Another World makes up for it with its romance. Hibiki also has a voice guidance system like Rimuru and Flio but seems to remain clueless despite the constant advice he's given. The title is a bit misleading. I thought "provisional" in the title meant that they weren't sure they would keep the title as it was. However, Hibiki's job is called "Appraiser (Provisional)"; it is also misleading in that he is not actually stronger than the hero or the sage. Both outclass him throughout all 12 episodes. There are also quite a few bath and Hot Springs scenes, as well as multiple scenes where Emalia's buttons fall off due to her chest size. While I didn't enjoy this one, it could be great if you enjoy generic isekai anime.

An Adventurer’s Daily Grind at Age 29

Hajime Shinonome has been adventuring in a rural village for some time now. One day while going into the dungeon he comes across a girl who is stuck inside a slime. When he pulls her out he learns her name is Rirui and that her parents abandoned her. After trying to find her a place for Rirui to stay, Hajime eventually ends up letting her live with him, while he teaches her the basics of adventuring.

An Adventurer's Daily Grind at Age 29 was a fun anime to watch. I always enjoy the adventurer takes in a child trope that you see in anime's like If It's For My Daugher, I'll Even Defeat a Demon Lord and Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring. While there is some swearing, the characters dress modestly, and there is no unnecessary lewd scenes. I would definitely suggest giving it a try, if you enjoy fantasy anime that focus on adventuring.

Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None

Lately the popularity of Enchanters has been through the roof in the adventuring industry. This was made famous by a girl named Selma Claudel. When the importance was made known, Orhun Dura became the Enchanter of his party and brought them all the way to level 94 of the dungeon. They became known as the Hero's Party for this act. Unfortunately Orhun's party didn't think that he was talented enough to be an enchanter, so they banished him and brought on a new enchanter. After that Orhun made a goal to defeat all 100 levels of the dungeon by himself. However, does he have what it takes?

Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None feels similar to your generic banished from the hero's party trope anime. So if you've seen Beast Tamer, The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest, or I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths, you can imagine what to expect. I will say that it was still fun to watch, because I happen to enjoy fantasy anime that have the banished from the hero's party trope in it. There are a few bath scenes, but the characters bodies are completely whited out, so I don't really see this as an ecchi anime. I would definitely suggest it if you enjoy fantasy anime that focuses on dungeon delving and adventuring.

The Demon King's Daughter is Too Kind!!

Doux is the Daughter of Demon King Ahriman. Ahriman was previously focused on world domination, but his advances stopped after he started spending time with Doux. Unfortunately Doux does not possess a single evil desire, in fact she helps whoever she meets whether they be human, Demon, Magical beast, or Angels. Many people see the Demons as enemies. Will Doux be able to change relationships between races as she trains to become the next Demon King?

The Demon KIng's Daughter is Too Kind!! was actually a lot better than I was expecting. It had a similar feel to fluffy paradise and Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring. There is no swearing, and all the characters dress modestly. If you like relaxing fantasy anime with little to no fighting, I would suggest giving it a try.

My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero’s

Akira Oda is transported to another world along with all his classmates. The king of the kingdom of Retice tells them that the demons are terrorizing the people and the demon lord must be killed. Most of the classmates are easily convinced. They each are given classes, skills, and levels. The Hero which is thought to be the strongest class is given to one of Akira's Classmates. However, Akira notices that his stats are even higher than the Hero's. While everybody begins to train in their upcoming war against the demons, Akira instead investigates the king and what's really going on behind the scenes.

My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero's had a very similar feel to Arifureta From Commonplace to World's Strongest. However, it has a much darker feel than Arifureta. All the characters seem more serious. While the main character is an assassin, there isn't really any killing until the last episode. The anime is free of fan service, and the language is clean. I would suggest it if you enjoy Isekai anime. But don't expect it to be the best isekai out there.

The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest

Alec Ygriet graduated as the top student in his class at his magic academy. But rather than forming an adventuring party with his friends, he decided to become a court magician to repay the kindness of a man named Eldas who taught him how to use magic as a child. However, he got stuck with restrictions as the prince's guard. Unaware of the restrictions set by the king, the prince banishes Alec for not being skilled enough in his party. Alec accepts the situation and leaves. He then meets up with his friends from the Academy who have already reached rank A as adventurers.

The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest was your typical Adventuring anime. It was fun to watch, just like any other fantasy anime. I did like that these people have a history together, and you get to learn about that history through flashbacks. in some animes the party knows each other for a long time, but you don't actually learn what happened in the past like in I left my A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths. There was no fan service in this one. I would definitely suggest giving it a try if you like Adventuring Anime.

Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?!

In this world everyone gets assigned a class that determines their future. However, when the day comes for Arel to get his class, he is classless. This doesn't break his spirit at all though. He becomes motivated to prove that effort is more effective than having skills handed to you.

Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?! was fun to watch. It was kind of a blend between Adventuring anime, and magic school anime. The fights are good, but it feels like they are over too quickly in my opinion. If you like fantasy anime, I still believe it's worth giving a try.

New Saga

Kyle Leonard lived through a time where most of humanity had been wiped out by demons. After him and a few others remained they stormed the Demon Lords Castle. After running into powerful enemies Kyle sees a mysterious crystal. Half dead from fighting demons he crawls over and grabs it. The crystal takes him four years into the past before his friends and family had been slaughtered. With knowledge of the future he plans to do everything in his power to prevent the demons from attacking again and taking over the world.

I was kind of expecting this to be like other anime where the character travels to the past like Redo of Healer, Tearmoon Empire, or a returners magic should be special. While it does bear a resemblance to redo of healer because both are sent back in time by a crystal having to do with the demon king, thats about all the similarity it has. It does bear a slight resemblance to a returners magic should be special in that both main characters meet people from their past who had already died in the prior timeline. Besides that it kind of felt like another fantasy anime. Though it doesn't follow the typical storyline of the main character going to an adventurers guild and rising the ranks super fast thanks to their strength. Since Kyle has knowledge of the future he knows that the princess will be attacked in the future and saves her. Thanks to this act he is immediately made a hero by the king. While there is a hot springs scene, I would still suggest giving it a watch since it is mostly clean.

The Water Magician

Ryo Mihara is reincarnated to another world where his only wish is to live a quiet life. So, he is sent into a forest with a few months of food and the ability to use water magic. While he starts with almost no power, he quickly becomes more skilled the more he practices. He even meets a dullahan who teaches him how to use a sword. a little while later a ship crashes near the forest where Ryo is living. That's when he saves an adventurer named Abel. While Abel questions Ryo's origins, he teaches him about different things about the world, and even takes him on a journey to a town named Lune. Together they defeat hordes of monsters and use their mana crystals to fund Ryo's new life as an Adventurer.

The Water Magician was pretty good, though there were parts that felt slow to me. I also was disappointed with the ending. The fight between two powerful magicians could have been absolutely amazing, but instead it was pretty disappointing. I think that The Water Magician had the potential to be a lot better than it was. However, I do believe it's worth watching if you enjoy isekai anime.

Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant!

After getting kicked out of the world's strongest adventuring party, Dennis decides to open his own restaurant. While he is buying supplies he finds a young girl who reminds him of how he was when he was a child. After seeing her, he decides to make her his new poster girl for his restaurant. Now that everything is set up Dennis has almost no money left, and the first customer who visits also has no money. Will the Adventurer's Restaurant be able to survive?

Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurnat was far better than I was expecting. I was expecting it to be similar to Restaurant to Another World, but it is so much better. It has the perfect mix of food and adventuring. It remains mostly clean, though there is a bath and shower scene. If you like anime like Campfire cooking in Another World, I would give Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant a try.

Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon Season 2

Its summer in the Clearflow Lake Stratum, and while everything appears peaceful, a meeting has been called for all the Stratum Directors. Director Bear invites Lammis, Boxxo, and Hulemy to join the meeting on the Dead's Lament Stratum. The meeting is regarding the attack of the Netherlord which nearly killed Hulemy and Shui. The Directors decide that the best option is to attack the Netherlord after gathering the best hunters from each Stratum. But will things actually work out like they planned?

Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon Season 2 was pretty fun to watch. There were a lot of twists that I wasn't expecting. I really enjoyed getting to learn about more stratums that weren't shown in Season 1. I also enjoyed the new characters that were introduced like Kikoyu and Hevee. The entire season is clean both in language and visually. If you enjoyed Season 1, I would definitely suggest giving Season 2 a try.

Wistoria: Wand and Sword

In a school full of magic students, Will Serfort is the only student with no magic ability. Thanks to this he is seen as inferior by almost everyone. However, when Will uses a sword he is able to cut through magic and defeat high level monsters all on his own. His ultimate goal is to join his childhood friend, Elfie, at the tower. The tower is where all the most talented mages reside. Is it possible that Will's skill with a sword will be enough to get to him to the pinnacle of magic?

Wistoria: Wand and Sword was pretty fun to watch. It has a similar feel to Mashle: Magic and Muscles and Reign of the Seven Spellblades. While it was written by the same author as Is It Wrong to Try and Pick Up Girls in the Dungeon, I didn't feel like the beginning was as captivating. The last four episodes were just as good, as the best fight scenes in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in the Dungeon though. Wistoria: Wand and Sword doesn't have any fan service, nor does it contain any swearing. Everyone does call Will mean names though. Anyway, I would suggest giving it a try.

I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths!

Yuke Feldio was in an A-rank adventuring party known as Thunder Pike. However, after being mistreated by his adventuring companions he leaves his party. It isn't long after that he runs into a student he taught named Marina who after hearing he isn't part of a party anymore invites him to join her party. After talking with the rest of the group he agrees to join and be the party's leader. They decide on the name Clover for their party because there are four of them. While they may be at the lowest rank for now Clover's sense of teamwork will surely raise their rank.

I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths! was better than I was expecting. Usually the trope is somebody getting kicked out of their party, but Yuke leaves voluntarily. While it's similar to the common trope, I believe this feels a little more realistic. I also think that Simon is probably the best antagonist in the banished from the hero's party trope since the hero in Beast Tamer. Both antagonist give you a feeling of satisfaction after they are beaten. The anime is mostly clean with a few hot spring scenes and a lake scene as well. If you like fantasy anime, I would definitely suggest watching this one.

Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf!

Ever since he was little, Kazuhiro Kitase has been able to travel to a fantasy world when he is sleeping. Throughout the years he has become proficient at fighting and escaping. One day, when he is visiting a Dungeon with his friend Marie, they run into an Arkdragon. The Arkdragon attempts to burn them with her fire breath, but instead Marie wakes up in Kazuhiro's apartment in Tokyo. Now Kazuhiro wants to show her what this world without magic has to offer.

Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf! was a surprisingly enjoyable anime. I didn't really have any expectations going into it, but I think this is what I originally wanted out of Uncle From Another World. It kind of feels like Saving 80,000 Gold for my Retirement with the whole going back and forth between Earth and a fantasy world. There is a fair bit of fan service. When Marie and Wridra both wake up in Kazuhiro's apartment they appear without any clothes on. Also there are multiple hot springs and bath scenes. It is a cute romance anime though. I would suggest giving it a try if you don't mind the isekai and slice of life genres.

Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow-

After sleeping in Jinwoo heads off to a parent teacher conference for his sister Jinah. Her teacher asks jinwoo if he would allow Jinah to be a hunter if she awakened and Jinwoo immediately says no. After hearing his answer she asks a favor of him. Jinwoo visits Song-yi who was part of the team that Jinho Yu hired to take down dungeons with Jinwoo. Together they go to a C-rank dungeon which immediately turns into a red gate or dungeon that you can't escape until the boss is defeated. Unhappy about this last minute arrangement the leader of the group separates jinwoo along with all the hunters that are c-rank and below while he finds the boss.

Solo Leveling Season 2 was super entertaining. I understand why some people are unsatisfied with it. Sure they used a lot of money on the animation, and jinwoo is super overpowered, but I still think its good. I like to see how someone super strong can get continually stronger even if it seems like theres absolutely no reason to. The anime is clean. All the characters dress modestly and nobody swears either. I would definitely suggest giving it a try.

I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I’ll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time

Alina Clover has worked the past three years as a adventurers guild receptionist. She was told that it would be a safe job with great benefits where you could wear cute clothes. However, what they didn't tell her is how much overtime she would have every night. She gets so fed up with overtime that she goes into dungeons and defeats the dungeon's boss monsters. However, after some time word spreads about "the executioner". The problem with this is that if she gets found out she could lose her job. Will she be able to keep her activities as "the executioner" a secret, or get found out and punished for it?

I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I'll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time was fun to watch. However, it is one of those anime's where the story is exactly as the title says. Though the title doesn't mention anything about Silver Sword or the dark Gods, so i suppose there is still some mystery to be explored. The anime is totally clean. everybody dresses modestly and swearing is kept to a minimum. If you like fantasy anime I would suggest giving this one a try.

Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time

Takumi Iruma was caught in the middle of a forbidden summoning ritual. However, the goddess Nolyn in her anger closed off the spell which prevents Takumi from going back to Earth. Instead Nolyn gives Takumi a new body, and sends him back a year before the actual summoning along with her blessing, which causes good things to happen to Takumi. Takumi decides right away that he would rather spend his time being a craftsman rather than spending all his time fighting. So his journey to become the greatest Alchemist of All Time begins.

Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time kind of reminds me of Management of a Novice Alchemist. While it does spend a good amount of time on Takumi building various things, there is also a good amount of scenes where Takumi fights monsters. Neither one was overwhelming, which made a good balance for the anime overall. The anime was completely clean. There was no swearing and no fan service. This is an amazing feat since so many isekai anime tend to have some level of fan service. If you like Isekai anime I would definitely suggest giving it a try.

Beheneko: The Elf-Girl's Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster!

One day a brave knight dies, and the next thing he knows he wakes up in the middle of a dungeon. He can tell that he has been reincarnated as the S-Rank monster Behemoth. So to test his skills he fights different monsters and absorbs their skills. However, when he comes face to face with a dragon he barely gets out alive. thoroughly defeated and injured our brave knight falls to the floor. He is soon rescued by an elf girl named Aria who mistakes him for a helpless ordinary cat and decides to name him Tama.

Beheneko: The Elf-Girl's Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster was pretty enjoyable. The characters are fun, and the story is great. I will say that there is a bath or hot spring scene in every episode, and its also uncensored. So if you like to avoid the Ecchi genre you can skip this one. But, if you don't mind some fan service, I think Beheneko is worth giving a try, especially if you enjoy the Fantasy genre.

Demon Lord, Retry! R (Season 2)

Hakuto Kunai takes the help offered by Yukikaze and Mikan and heads to Rookie. After he arrives he learns of the existence of heroes. He talks to one that had just arrived in the city to figure out what the hero's goal was. After learning that he wasn't a threat the demon lord decides to go into the prison dungeon to see if he can find items that protect against magic. However, all he finds is a mysterious gun. After defeating a number of monsters he decides to use the skill points he earned to summon another one of his aides. Once his new Aide Akane appears she asks him what he wants to do in this new world. Hakuto now has to reflect on what he'll do if going home isn't an option.

Demon Lord, Retry Season 2 was better than I was expecting. It was hard to watch at the beginning due to the drastic change in animation. However, the story was great. My favorite arc is probably the one where Hakuto Kunai teams up with Organ and Mink to infiltrate demon country. Just like season 1 there was a bunch of hot springs scene, but since he basically runs a Hot Spring hotel it's inevitable. If you can overcome the weirdness with the animation change I would definitely suggest giving it a watch. While the Japanese voice actors changed the english voice actors stayed the same so that was a perk for me since I enjoy the english dub better.

The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party, Is, in Fact, the Strongest

Laust is a Healer who can only perform one spell. Because of this he got the name Laust the ignoramus. While he has been in adventuring parties in the past each one took advantage of him, whether it be to use him as a sacrifice, rob him, or break down his confidence each one took a toll. One day a blue haired girl named Narsena shows up and asks to be in the same party as him. Others tried to warn her, but she claimed that if she was going to be an adventurer, it had to be with Laust. So after signing up as an official party Laust takes Narsena to the highest floor of the dungeon where the weakest monsters are supposed to be. However, among the goblins they find a higher level monster that isn't supposed to show up until the middle floors. While they were able to take care of it, this mystery would be the first sign that the city of Mardat, where they lived, would be thrust into unprecedented danger.

The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party, Is, in Fact, the Strongest was an interesting anime. While the whole banished from the party trope has been done before with anime's like Beast Tamer, The Banished Former Hero Lives as he Pleases, and Banished From the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life Out in the Country, this one felt pretty unique. I really like the characters in this one. I think my favorite thing about it is the relationship between Narsena and Laust. Despite being used Laust has a kind and calm attitude while Narsena has a happy and inviting attitude. It just made me want to see them succeed. There is no fan service in this anime. The language is kept clean as well. If you like fantasy anime where the main characters are adventurers, I would give this one a try.
