Li'l Miss Vampire Can't Suck Right

Luna Ishikawa is a cool vampire that catches the attention of everyone around her. However, when her seat neighbor Tatsuda Otori gets put on cleaning duty with her he learns that her vampire persona that she puts on is taken from a manga, and she is bad at sucking blood. Once Tatsuda learns this he offers to be her practice partner in helping improve her ability to suck blood. They soon become best friends and participate in things they had previously thought were impossible.

Li'l Miss Vampire Can't Suck Right is a fun anime. It kind of reminds me of Medaka Kuroiwa is Impervious to My Charms, Aharen-San Wa Hakarenai, and My Dress-Up Darling. There is no fan service and the language is completely clean. I would definitely suggest it if you are looking for a good slice of life anime.

From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad's Been Reincarnated!

Kenzaburou Tondabayashi was a 52 year old dad before he died saving a child that was about to be run over by a truck. He was then reincarnated as the villainess of his daughter's favorite video game, Magical Academy: Love and Beasts. While he tries to fulfill his role as the villainess, he ends up befriending the main character, Anna Doll, rather than becoming her enemy. Due to the complete change in Grace Auvergne personality, everyone ends up growing love and respect for her rather than disdain. Little does he know that his wife and daughter are watching him through their screen and helping him in hopes that he will someday return to his previous life on earth.

From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad's Been Reincarnated! feels like it has elements from other villainess anime's. The setup of the show reminds me of Endo and Kobayashi Live: The Latest on Tsundere Villainess Lieselotte. It has the same type of feel when it switches back and forth between the fantasy world and Earth. The dynamic between the student council kind of reminds me of My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom. The relationship between Grace and Anna kind of reminds me of I'm in Love With the Villainess!. So If you are a fan of villainess Anime like I am, I would definitely suggest giving this one a watch. The characters all dress modestly and the series is free of any swear words. It surpassed my expectations with every way possible.

Ladies Versus Butlers

It's Akiharu Hino's forst day at Hakureiryou Academy where he has transferred to become a butler. However, he happens to meet Selnia Iora Flameheart who trips and in his attempt to save her ends up earning her Ire as he falls on top of her. Rumors spread wildly about Akiharu being someone who will do unthinkable things to you if you let your guard down. Right as he is about to be captured by all the girls in the school Tomimi Saikyo steps in saying that Akiharu was always kind growing up and that he doesn't have bad intentions. With that things settle down. But, everyone keeps their distance from him giving him little opportunity to practice his skills as a butler. In what seems to be an act of kindness Tomimi says that she will help him on his journey through school. Though Akiharu knows that Tomimi's true nature is not so magnanimous as she makes it out to be. She always has an ulterior motive when making a decision. Will Akiharu ever be able to have a normal school life?

There are a lot of things I want to say about Ladies Verses Butlers. At first it has a To Love Ru kind of feel with how clumsy Akiharu seems to be. It also has the feel of anime's where I guy goes to school and happens to be the only guy there like Infinite Stratos and Shomin Sample. It also has the tropey characters like the girl who pretends to be a boy like Charlotte in Infinite Stratos. The girl who always thinks the mc is shameless like Yui Kotegawa in To Love Ru. The short girl who is a high schooler but looks like a child like Hakua Shiadome in Shomin Sample. I really started to like it toward the end. I was hoping that Selnia and Akiharu would get together, but I was disappointed with an ending that makes you think "Is that it?". I don't regret watching this, but I wouldn't suggest it either. Not to mention there is an absurd amount of fan service which kind of felt like Rosario + Vampire. It has bath scenes, shower scenes, a hot spring episode, a beach episode, as well as many locker room scenes. Unless harem anime's where the boy goes to an all girls school is your preference, you can probably skip this one. 

Aharen-san wa Hakarenai Season 2

Raido and Aharen are in their second year of high school now. Thankfully, they are not alone. Ishikawa, Sato, and Oshiro have all been placed in their class as well. What they didn't expect was a new student to transfer into their class. Riku Tamanaha was a friend of Aharen in the past, but left her without a word. This made Aharen self conscious about getting too close to others. However, Riku wants to become friends again and make up for what happened in the past.

Aharen-san wa Hakarenai Season 2 was just as good as season 1. It had the same type of humor as season 1 which made it awesome. I didn't like the opening song as much as season 1 at first, but I grew to love it the more I listened to it. I think the addition of Tamanaha also gave Season 2 something special that was missing from Season 1. While there was a beach episode, the majority of the season remained wholesome. If you liked Aharen-san Season 1 or want to see a fun romance anime, I would definitely suggest watching it.

I'm Living With a Otaku NEET Kunoichi?!

Tsukasa Atsumi appeared to be your ordinary Salaryman. And like any japanese salaryman he is almost hit by falling debris off a building as he was walking home. But just before he was about to be crushed a Kunoichi saved him. Shizuri Ideura told Tsukasa that what fell from the sky wasn't debris at all but an attack from a demon. Thanks to Tsukasa having samurai blood he draws demons towards him. Shizuri offered to continue to protect him, but in exchange he would have to let her live her ideal NEET life in his apartment when the demon's aren't attacking. 

I'm Living With a Otaku NEET Kunoichi?! was actually better than I was expecting it to be. It was a typical slice of life anime with a NEET twist to it. The characters are all pretty fun to watch. There is a little bit of fan service such as bath scenes, and the characters wearing revealing outfits. It isn't excessive though. If you like slice of life anime I would suggest giving this one a try.

Senpai is an Otokonoko

Saki Aoi is in her first year of high school, and out of all the people above her there is one girl she truly admires. So she confesses to Makoto Hanaoka, but she is turned down. When Saki ask's why Makoto reveals that he's actually a boy that enjoys cross dressing. Rather than being sad Saki gets even more excited that she can enjoy both the boy version and the girl version of Makoto. While she was turned down she is determined to not let that stop her and win her senpai's heart. Thinking that she isn't serious and just trying to make fun of him Makoto's best friend Ryuuji approaches Saki and tells her about all the bullying that Makoto has had to endure because of who he is. When Ryuuji finds out that Saki doesn't have any bad intentions, the three of them start to hang out. Saki gives Makoto opportunities to do things that he never could have done on his own. There is just one problem, Makoto has to hide who he really is from his mother because she won't accept him unless he acts like a boy.

Senpai is an Otokonoko felt more serious than I was expecting. Usually when a guy is turned into a girl or cross dresses in anime it is brushed over and they are simply accepted for who they are. Examples of this are Himegoto, Onimai, komi can't communicate, etc. There are examples of people who won't like the character unless they are dressed as a girl such as date a live, and Kampfer. However, those felt different because the gender swap isn't a huge part of the plot. Something I noticed is that Senpai is an Otokonoko features multiple different types of relationships such as being gay, bi, and asexual. I was really hoping that Saki and Makoto would get together because Saki accepts Makoto right away, and her personality and attitude would make for a fun romantic comedy. A lot of romance anime's end without the main couple getting together, but I feel like since the first scene is a confession scene they could have become a couple at any point. But, they totally avoid it. So the anime was kind of a disappointment.  Also I thought I could hand BL after watching Kiss Him, Not Me but I know now that that is a genre of anime I'm not going to touch. Everybody dresses modestly and the language remains clean. If this sounds like something you would enjoy you can give it a try.

Saint Cecilia & Pastor Lawrence

Saint Cecilia acts and communicates perfectly to everyone in the village who visits the church. However, her true self comes out when her and Pastor Lawrence are alone. She lazes around and relies on him to do the housework. But as she spends more time outside she begins to let the act drop and just be herself. The fact that she loves the Pastor is clear for anyone to see. Both Cecilia and Lawrence are happy with the way their life is. Though deep down Cecilia wants more from their relationship. So, when a friend of Lawrence's named Abel shows up, Cecilia opens up to him about her feelings for Lawrence, and Abel decides to try and get Cecilia & Lawrence to do things that will make them become closer.

Saint Cecilia & Pastor Lawrence is another romance where the Main Character is as dense as a brick. However, it didn't bother me because even though Lawrence is unaware of Cecilia's romantic feelings for him, he still treats her right. Oftentimes, the dense main character will either ignore the girl who likes him or become mean at times. So the dynamic between these two was very refreshing for me. While I do wish it had a better ending, the ending was still good. The anime stays wholesome for the most part. There is a bath scene but it doesn't distract you from the story. The Language also remains clean which I really enjoyed. I think if you like wholesome romance anime you should give this one a try.

Alice or Alice

Rise and Airi live with their big brother. With his help they are able to get a job at a maid cafe called Kisa Kissa. In order to help them with their customer service skills the manager Kisaki has them practice making foods and serving it to their brother. Slowly more and more people join the cafe. To help the employees bond more Kisaki has them go on outings to places like a Hot Spring Resort, a festival, as well as the beach. However, a new maid cafe soon pops up to rival them. Will they be able to handle it?

Alice or Alice was actually a lot better than I was expecting it to be. It was a fun slice of life. The message and feeling of the show is wholesome. However, there are a lot of scenes where the girls wear clothes with cleavage, bathing suits, or just a towel in the hot springs episode. If you dislike fan service be aware that there is a fair amount in this. However, if you don't mind it I would suggest giving this one a try since it takes less than an hour to watch.

Kaguya-sama: Love is War -Ultra Romantic- Season 3

Iino walks into the Student Council Room to find Ishigami alone. After voicing her disgust that she had the displeasure of running into him she puts on her music so she can study. However, her headphones aren't all the way plugged in so what she's listening to can be heard aloud by everyone. As the other Student Council members walk in Ishigami does everything he can to let her know that her headphones are unplugged without telling her directly. Despite his best efforts her embarrassing taste in music get exposed. On another day the student council are bringing items into the Student Council Room. After seeing Ishigami struggle to carry a desk inside, Chika Fujiwara suggests that they have an arm wrestling competition to see who is the strongest.

Kaguya-sama Season 3 was better than I remembered. I think the addition of Maki Shijo made it a lot better for me. She's a character that is easy to relate to in multiple ways for me. Also it feels like the relationships actually progress this season, which I didn't feel at all in the previous two. Everybody dresses modestly and the language is kept clean. Overall, I would definitely suggest it since it is what I was hoping for in Season one and two.

Infinite Stratos Season 2

After waking up to feeling something hard, Ichika opens his eyes to find Laura's foot on his face. She then shows him a poster of a festival and asks if he would go with her. Ichika accepts and then proceeds to ask all the other girls individually if they would go with him. While each one is excited to get his invitation, their joy turns to anger once it's time to meet up. However, they all decide that since they prepared to go they might as well enjoy it. Each of them try to pull Ichika away from the others to get some alone time, but will it actually work?

Ah, Harem anime. Some people love it, some people hate it, and some people wish they had one of their own. However, I think Infinite Stratos Season 2 is a good example of what a pain it is to be in a harem. For one, I didn't think anyone was more clueless than Natsuru from Kampfer, but I believe that Ichika Orimura is on equal footing with him. What I feel for Ichika is pure pity, because every one of the girls in his harem tries to kill him. There is one good thing about Infinite Stratos Season 2 and that is Kanzashi Sarashiki. She seems to be the only girl in the series that is able to think logically aside from her sister Tatenashi Sarashiki. Kanzashi happens to be a normal human being that doesn't attack Ichika for no reason. While he can be clueless and insensitive I don't think that warrents being constantly shot at. There is quite a bit of fan service in this season. It has a shower scene, a pool scene, a hot springs scene, as well as multiple scenes where you see girls in their underwear. There is quite a bit of swearing as well. Overall, I wouldn't suggest it unless you are a harem fan and don't mind fan service.

Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S (Season 2)

Tohru gets worked up when she learns that there is a new maid cafe claiming to have the best maids in the city. She claims that there isn't a better maid than her and rushes over to the restaurant to complain. Tohru comes back shortly saying that she actually got hired on the spot when she went to visit them. As someone who worked in the food service industry before she worked as a programmer, Kobayashi has her doubts that Tohru will actually be able to handle the job. So she visits the maid cafe along with Kanna in order to check up on Tohru to find that Tohru has actually been made the head chef and doesn't typically work as a waitress. Meanwhile a new dragon named Illulu appears and tries to destroy the city. Though thanks to Tohru using her wings to block her attacks the city is kept from being damaged. How will Kobayashi resolve their issues this time? 

Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid Season 2 was really good. I really liked learning more about Tohru and the other Dragons past. I also was happy when Illulu was added to the group. I think out of all of the characters Illulu is probably the most relatable to me. While the majority of the season stays clean, there is a bath scene in episode 2. The language stays clean for the majority of the show as well. If you enjoyed Season 1 I would definitely suggest giving season 2 a try.

Kämpfer

Natsuru Senou was a regular boy until he received a stuffed tiger who comes alive. He then turns into a girl and is told that he is a Kämpfer. Kämpfer are always girls which is why he has changed genders. trying to figure it out Natsuru leaves for school, but is attacked by a girl with a gun. Natsuru is able to dodge her attacks but dives when he sees his friend Kaede Sakura about to be shot. Before she disappears he asks for her name which she shouts is Akane Mishima. Natsuru back in his guy form tries to forget about what happened when he hears he has been summoned. He soon learns that there is much more to the Kämpfer than he expected.

Kämpfer was an interesting anime for sure. I'll be honest having a  dense main character isn't typically annoying for me. its usually the girls that annoy me in those situations because they blame the main character for not understanding their feelings, but don't tell them that they have a crush, they just expect the guy to know. However, in Kämpfer Natsuru was super annoying because every girl told him clearly and concisely that they love him and he somehow still remained clueless. if he didn't believe it at first I could understand that, however, when you get told multiple times that a girl likes you, I think you should trust people a little more. Anyway there is some ecchi scenes throughout the anime. There are two shower scenes, a scene where you see everyone in swimsuits when they go to the pool, as well as a scene where the female Natsuru tries on a bunch of different outfits for the school festival, Some of which show more skin than necessary. There is also a lot of swearing throughout it. Anyway this is one I wouldn't necessarily suggest unless you like fighting anime's like Akikan. The funny thing is there is actually an Akikan reference in Kämpfer which I thought was super cool.

Outbreak Company

After filling out a questionnaire on otaku culture to see if he is eligible for a job, Shinichi Kanou answers every single question correctly and is called in to meet a man named Jinzaburou Matoba. Matoba tells Shinichi that they have found a portal to a parallel world. In order to begin friendly relations with them, they want to introduce anime, manga, and games to them. However, nobody in the government really knows anything about it. Shinichi agrees to help and is taken to the other world. He meets with the queen who agrees to let him share his interests. After teaching his maid basic Japanese he builds a school for the youth of the kingdom of Erdant, where they can learn both Japanese and Japanese culture. While Shinichi seems to be doing his job perfectly, not everyone is satisfied with the results. It is up to Shinichi to find a solution that can satisfy everyone. Will he be able to pull it off?

Outbreak Company was better than expected. It is pretty relatable, in the same way that Anime-Gataris is. There are multiple bath scenes, as well as a swimsuit episode with a lake. Besides that the characters dress modestly, and the humor and language are both clean. If the summary above sounds interesting to you, I would give it a try,

Akikan!

Kakeru Daichi has always found it fun to collect the different types of soda cans that he drinks. One day when he tries a melon flavored juice it turns into a cute girl. He names her Melon and has her become a student at the school he attends with the help of his childhood friend Najimi Tenkuji. Kakeru is soon approached by a government official who tells him that this phenomenon happens with every type of drink there is. They have labeled the cans who transform as Akikans. Since cans are made from either steel or aluminum the government wants to get rid of one and make all cans from the same material. So they have the Akikan's fight each other in what is known as the Akikan Elect. Though Kakeru strongly advises Melon not to participate all Akikan's seem to be born with an aversion to the material opposite of them. Is it possible for everyone to get along despite their differences?

Akikan sounds like a weird anime, and it is. Despite them being completely different, it gave me the same feeling I had when I was watching Tayutama. It may be weird and hard to binge, but it is probably the most quotable anime I have seen so far. There is some fan service in it, but less than I thought there would be. There is a bath scene, and an episode where they go to a water park. The water park episode kind of reminded me of Eiken. The language isn't too bad throughout it either. However, this is an episode where the guy gets punched a lot, which is something that bothered me in the past, but I didn't really mind it as much when I watched this. If you don't mind some minor fan service, I would give it a try.

My First Girlfriend is a Gal

Junichi Hashiba is already in his second year of high school and can't figure out why he still doesn't have a girlfriend. To try and make him happier his single friends hand him a inappropriate magazine which he drops after Yukana Yame bumps into him. Believing that gals are easy Junichi's friends tell him that if he grovels enough she will go out with him. While Yukana was put off by Junichi at first, she surprisingly agrees to be his girlfriend. After word gets out that the two of them are dating, girls like Junichi's childhood friend Nene, and his classmate Yui Kashii start trying to seduce him. Will Junichi be able to stay true to Yukana or will his own inexperience get in the way?

There's a lot I can say for My First Girlfriend is a Gal. At times it can be super relatable as well as pretty funny. I really like Yukana and Junichi's relationship. Even when girls try and get close to him Yukana still believes in him, which I really like about her. However, there is a part at the very end where Yukana and Junichi get in a fight and rather than talk it out they just assume they know how the other is feeling which causes problems. I wish that had played out differently. There is a lot of fan service which mostly consists of revealing clothes. There is a hot springs scene and a beach episode as well. During one scene the girls are working at a cosplay cafe and they start to read Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia which could be uncomfortable for some viewers. Anyway, if you like romance and don't mind some fan service this might be something you would be interested in.

I'm in Love with the Villainess

During her life our protagonist would always relax by playing her favorite Otome Game after a hard day of work. However, it was not the princes that she was playing for, but the villainess Claire François. So when she learns she has woken up as her character Rae Taylor she does everything she can to avoid the princes and get Claire to fall in love with her. This consists of her finding ways to be at her side like getting a position as Claire's maid, as well as creating competitions where the winner gets to ask the loser to do something for them. Will Rae get the girl, or will this world follow the script of the original game?

While I don't typically like Yuri anime, I loved every single episode of I'm in Love with the Villainess. What I love the most is the dynamic between Rae and Claire. While Claire rejects Rae a lot you can tell that she still likes having Rae around. I would 100% suggest it to anyone wondering if it's good. Also while it is a Yuri the characters don't get all that intimate which I think is another aspect of why I like it. Nothing inappropriate happens. Everyone dresses modestly, and the language is kept clean as well. 

GIRLS Bravo Season 2

Yukinari, Kirie, Koyami, Tomoki, Miharu, and the Fukuyama siblings return in another season of Girls Bravo. The group decides to go to the pool to have fun, but thanks to Risa's Magic they get into trouble. Thanks to a mishap not only does the group switch bodies, but a giant octopus is summoned as well. Will everyone be able to work together and return things to how they were?

I actually liked the second season of Girls Bravo More than the first. Kirie doesn't punch Yukinari almost at all, which is how friends should be. The girls all develop a relationship where they support each other which I really like. This season had a lot of fan service like the first season did. There is a pool scene, bath scenes, shower scenes, as well as scenes where the girls are dressed in little to no clothing like when the characters play strip mahjong, as well as where Miharu is trapped in a water bubble at the end of the season. It does swear once in this season. While there is a lot of fan service I really like the story and the relationships that the characters build with each other.

Date A Live Season 2

While preparing for a class trip the location is suddenly changed with the travel agency saying they would pay for everything if the school allowed a photographer to go with them. That photographer is secretly DEM's best Wizard, and the enemy of Ratatoskr. After getting to the island while wandering on the beach Shido runs into Yuzuru and Kaguya Yamai who are fighting in the air surrounded by tornados. These two have done countless battles from eating contests to musical battles all to see who is better. After seeing Shido they decide to make him the judge of their next contest to see who is more attractive. Seeing this as an opportunity, Reine becomes their coach on how to seduce Shido as well as making preparations for them to appear as transfer students to Shido's class. There is only one catch, once a victor has been decided the loser will disappear. Will Shido find a way to save both of them?

The second season of Date A Live was really good. I think it does a good job of showing how different characters develop. There is a bit of fan service but not too much. There's a few beach episodes, a hot springs scene, as well as the parts where the spirits power is sealed and their spirit armor disappears leaving them exposed. There is a little bit of swearing but not much. As a side note I would watch it in english sub because depending on where you watch it the subtitles for the date choices don't appear if you watch it in the english dub.

Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia

 Enemies have started invading all over the world. This has caused people to leave their countries to live on islands that travel the sea. After leaving where he grew up because of the experiments his mom did on him, Kizuna Hida is invited back by his sister because of some intel she received anonymously. Kizuna had previously been deemed useless by his mother and thrown away, but his sister tells him that he has the power to make people who use the Heart Hybrid Gear stronger faster than if they recovered on their own. He is then made captain of a team comprising Hayuru Himekawa, Yurishia Farandole, and Aine Chidorigafuchi. The Solution to the problem is to do lewd things together so that their bonds of love increase. However, the team will soon learn a secret about the enemy invading the world which may make it harder to fight. Will the bonds they create be enough to save them?

Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia was pretty good. They did a good job censoring the content. However, that doesn't change the fact that there is a part in every episode where the characters are feeling each other up. The fighting scenes are pretty good. It's what you expect from a mecha anime similar to Infinite Stratos except the characters don't get all defensive when Kizuna sees them undressed, in fact they invite him to join them. There is a bath scene, but most scenes are in either a classroom, or a bedroom, which changes because a machine is made for them that simulates any environment as well as any clothes they want to wear. If you are not a fan of fan service you can skip this, but if you are looking for something with fan service along the lines of Worlds End Harem, but with a better story this could be for you. If you want to see a censored version you can find it on Crunchyroll, if you watch elsewhere you might run into the uncensored version so be aware.

And you thought there is never a girl online?

Hideki Nishimura had just about given up on love after being rejected by a female character named nekohime who was actually a guy in real life. Then a player named Ako confesses her love to Nishimura known as Rusian in the MMO game Legendary Age. It isn't until Ako had asked Rusian ten times till he gives in and agrees to be her husband in the game. He tells his guild mates about the experience and said that even though he accepted he still believes Ako is a guy in real life. So the guild leader named Master tells them that they should have a meeting in real life. Rusian is surprised when he finds out that everyone in the Alley Cats guild were actually girls in real life, even though they had been playing as male characters. They even all attend the same school. Though they learn very quickly that Ako Tomaki who had married Nishimura in the game can't tell the difference between what's real and whats in the game. This causes problems as she calls her guildmates by their game names and not by their actual names, as well as believes that her and Nishimura are actually married in real life. Will The Alley Cats be able to help Ako differentiate whats real and whats not?

And you thought there is never a girl online is pretty similar to Recovery of an MMO Junkie and My Love Story with Yamada at Level 999. However, it has a different feeling to it since it is only about high schoolers, and I feel like both Recovery of an MMO Junkie and Loving Yamada at Level 999 focus mainly on the male and female leads while And you thought there was never a girl online has a heavier focus on the entire guild. Though I feel like focusing on the group is a nice change. There are a few bath scenes, as well as a beach episode. So you do see the girls of the Alley Cats guild in their swimsuits. There is no swearing which I think is good. Overall I think it is worth a watch if you like VRMMO and slice of life type anime's.
