Bonaza is a merchant who hates that he lives in a world where demihumans have been forced into slavery. Right after he pays them for helping out he is transported to another world as a hero candidate. However, at first glance his stats appear to be the same as your typical commoner which causes the kingdom of Klyrode to cast him aside by sending him to the Delaveza Forest where The Dark Army is said to reside. Once he arrives at the forest he is attacked by slimes thanks to the king and his men casting magic on the equipment they left with him. After defeating them he levels up and a strange symbol appears next to each one of his stats, along with the ability to have a voice be his guide. This voice lets him know that he has received new spells and that he should use shapeshifting to change his appearance. Using the voice's suggestion he changes his appearance and then goes into town where he arrives at the adventurers guild. It is there he changes his name to Flio and takes on a quest to help a little girl go to the Delaveza Forest. However, his lack of knowledge about this world gets him into trouble with a group of knights that are stationed nearby. Will Flio be able to escape the kingdoms wrath?
Chillin' in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers was a lot more fun to watch than I was expecting. While it appears to be an overpowered fantasy anime at first it changes into a slow life anime. It is kind of reminiscent of I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level with the whole group building slice of life concept. However, unlike I've been Killing Slimes for 300 Years, Chillin' in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers has a greater focus on romance where Flio and a girl he saved pretend to be married and eventually fall in love. There are a few inappropriate scenes. One where Rys transforms from her demon form to her human form and has no clothes on, as well as two hot spring episodes. I would definitely suggest watching this if you enjoy Slow Life anime.
