Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits-

Aoi Tsubaki has always been able to see Ayakashi. After her Mother left her she was raised by her grandpa Shiro Tsubaki. Shiro had the power to travel to the hidden realm where the Ayakashi live. It is there that he became well known and accrued massive debt. To settle the matter he offered up his granddaughter Aoi to be the wife of an Ayakashi known as the Ogre God. Once Aoi had grown up the Ogre God came for her and brought her to the hidden realm. Refusing to marry him, Aoi claimed that she could find another way to pay off her grandfather's debt. While nobody seemed willing to accept her at first the nine tailed fox Ginji claimed that there was a place nearby where no matter what kind of business was there it always seemed to fail. It was then that Aoi decided to turn it into her own restaurant.

I didn't have too high of expectations when I started to watch Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits-, however, the more I watched the more I enjoyed it. While it is another restaurant anime, it feels different from others. While it takes place in another world, it doesn't follow the common tropes you see in fantasy anime. There are no humans in this world nor are there the magical races you typically see in fantasy such as dwarves & elves. All of the beings being Ayakashi give Kakuriyo a unique feel that made me want to see what will happen next. While there is a hot springs and multiple bath scenes, the majority of it stays clean. If you are looking for a unique supernatural anime I would give this one a try.

Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan

Sakura Kusukabe is your typical middle schooler. However unlike most middle schoolers he is living with an angel named Dokuro-chan. Unlike most angels Dokuro has a habit of killing Sakura and then reviving him. She also tries to stop him from achieving academic success. After the organization from the future that Dokuro-chan comes from sends an assassin to kill Sakura, he finally learns why. Twenty years in the future Sakura figures out how to give people immortality. In order to prevent that from happening all the angels are determined to kill Sakura so that that future never comes to fruition. Will Sakura make it out of this alive?

Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan is the most chaotic anime I have seen. I originally gave this a try because it was only a few episodes long. However, after watching it, there are some things that I have a problem with. First of all is the gore. I don't mind some amount of blood when watching anime, but this one had too much. I was also unsatisfied with the art style. However, since it was made in 2005 this was typically the art style used at the time which you can see in anime's that were made in a similar time frame like Clannad. There were also a number of scenes with panty shots, see through shirts from getting wet, as well as scenes where Dokuro is seen with only a towel on. The language stays clean though. Overall, it isn't one that I would suggest. However, I did enjoy the test of courage scene. Seeing Dokuro and Sakura holding hands without any violence was nice.

My Deer Friend Nokotan

Torako Koshi has a history of being a delinquent. So since starting high school she has done everything she can to hide it. This includes getting perfect grades, becoming class president, as well as student council president. She has also changed her attitude to appear more kindhearted. However, this act is exposed when she saved a deer girl named Noko Shikanoko, who is hanging from a street light. Torako is then somehow roped into being the president of the deer club where her only purpose is to take care of Noko. Will she be able to handle everything that's being thrown at her at once?

My Deer Friend Nokotan is an anime worthy of awe. I say that like "ahh, what the heck did I just watch?" Every episode incites confusion. Despite it making absolutely no sense, theres something about it that makes you want to know what happens next. However, if you are left in confusion know that the creators intended it to be that way. There are multiple times throughout the anime where it tells you to basically just go along with it. Everybody dresses modestly, and the language is kept clean. Overall, it is worth giving a try, and if you don't like it you can always drop it.

TSUKIMICHI -Moonlit Fantasy- Season 2

After his fight with Sofia Bulga the Dragon Slayer, Makoto Misumi heads to Rotsgard to enroll in the academy. However, due to a mistake by Rembrandt Makoto is taking the teacher employment exam, rather than the one for students. While he struggles at first because of his overwhelming power, Makoto is able to find ways to minimize it so he can attack the targets he needs while keeping them in tact. After finishing up Makato is made a part time teacher. After meeting with a full time teacher called Bright, Bright decides to send over some of his students who he thinks might be interested in Makoto's class. While the students underestimate him at first, there opinion instantly changes after seeing a mock battle between Shiki and Makato. While this wasn't what he had planned, will Makoto be able to fulfill his goals without drawing the attention of the goddess?

Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy- Season 2 was a lot better than I was expecting. While season 1 was entertaining, seeing Makoto as a teacher and how the students accept Makoto and his teachings brought a totally different but great feeling to the show. Also the forest ogre Eris definitely became my favorite character this season. the season remains modest with the exception of the hero Hibiki wearing a revealing outfit in the last two episodes, as well as the Gorgons in the episodes they appear in. If you enjoyed Tsukimichi Season 1, I would definitely suggest giving Season 2 a try as well.

As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World

Ars is the first son of house Louvent that governs the small domain of Lamberg out in the countryside. As his gift for reincarnating he has an Appraisal skill that shows him everybody's talents and ambitions in the form of a number. After using it to change one of house Louvent's soldiers from using a spear to a bow, his father tells him that intuition is a skill needed to become a good Lord. So Ars goes out in public to find people who might become assets to house Louvent. It is there that he meets a Malkan named Rietz who has been ignored and persecuted due to his race. However, Ars using his Appraisal skill sees that Rietz has exactly the skills he is looking for and asks him to become his retainer. While most of the employees are hesitant to welcome him, Raven Louvent says that he will accept Rietz into their ranks if his sword is able to touch him in a mock battle. This seemed like an unfair request since Raven had become nobility because of his exploits in battle, but Rietz agrees. After Rietz manages to win, Raven gives Ars the task of finding more talented people like Rietz. Will Ars be able to save house Louvent from the upcoming war?

As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World was very fun to watch because of how different it was from other Isekai anime. Unlike most Isekai's, Ars is reincarnated into a world where not everyone can use magic and special skills like his are rare. This made the story interesting because it feels like he is living a normal life as an aristocrat. The characters are modest for the most part. However, Charlotte does show a lot of cleavage if that is something that bothers you. I think it is worth looking past because of how interesting the story is. I would definitely suggest it if you are looking for a unique Isekai anime to watch.

Spy Classroom Season 2

The more Lamplight goes on missions, the more they come to realize that they all lack a skill essential to being a spy. They all lack ruthlessness. Monika knows that that is going to become their downfall and brings it to the attention of Thea who despite her warning wants to help an imperial spy who is the enemy of the republic. However, this spy claims to be the mother of Annette. Annette has received the code name Forgetter, because she has amnesia. She doesn't remember anything except for the last four years. While her memories of her mother are missing, she still feels like she knows Matilda and accepts her requests to spend time together. Seeing them together causes Thea to turn a blind eye to her being a spy because she wants Annette to be happy. Will things actually go that smoothly though?

I thought Spy Classroom Season 2 was great. I loved Annette in Season 1, but as I learned more about her it made me love her even more. Rather than training like they did in season 1, Lamplight spends most of season 2 going on missions and solving mysteries. The majority of the season stays clean, but there is a pool scene where the girls are in swimsuits. There is quite a bit of swearing as well. While season 1 reminded me of Assassination Classroom, this season felt more like The eminence in shadow if the focus was on the girls and you took away magic. Overall, I would definitely suggest giving it a try.

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Season 4 Part 2

After their fight with the Juggernaut, Bell and Ryu find themselves stuck on the thirty seventh floor of the dungeon. An area not even the Loki Familia goes to. Meanwhile the floor boss of the twenty fifth floor has The Hestia Familia, Aisha, Ouka, Chigusa, as well as Daphne and Cassandra trapped. While it may not be as bloodthirsty and dangerous as the Juggernaut, fighting it will be no easy task. Also Morale has dropped ever since Bell disappeared. Will Bell's friends be able to survive long enough to escape?

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Season 4 Part 2 was super intense and fast paced which I really liked. There are a few parts that could be considered inappropriate like when Ryu and Bell think they are going to die from the cold, so they do skin on skin contact. There is also a part where Ryu is wearing loose clothes that fall off by themselves. In both instances the anime does a good job of making sure Ryu is covered up. There is a lot of swearing throughout the season if that is something that bothers you. Overall I think that it did a great job of keeping the story moving as well as entertaining. I would definitely suggest it if you have watched the previous seasons.

Dead Mount Death Play Part 2

While The Corpse God thought that nobody was watching the fight between Xiaoyu, Lemmings, and Phantom Solitaire, it turns out that a streamer caught his invisible hands on video. Thanks to that Occult sites went crazy over it. Though the general public still couldn't tell if it was one of Solitaire's tricks or an actual supernatural phenomena. While Takumi and Polka try to hide their involvement, Misaki brings in a reporter who claims she wants to do an article about their fortune telling business. This puts Polka on edge causing him to act suspicious. Will they be exposed, or will the group manage to continue the way they have? Only time will tell.

Dead Mount Death Play was good but the 2nd cour is even better. My favorite character continues to be Misaki. Dead Mount Death Play Part 2 was completely clean. However, there is swearing here and there. The story is super good because it answers almost all the questions that were brought about in the first cour. The only thing that I can think of that remains unanswered is who is after Polka's life and why. If you liked the first cour I would definitely watching part 2 as well.

The Devil is a Part-Timer! Season 2

The Demon Lord Maou and his partners Ashiya and Urushihara are back and worried about the Demon King's Castle budget. Right before Maou leaves for work at MgRonalds He senses a strange presence. Meanwhile Ashiya has decided to train Urushihara on how to do housework so he can get a job and help contribute to the demons finances. While he is lecturing Urushihara they notice a cockroach has been hiding in the closet. Rather than try and kill it themselves, they run away where they meet Emilia, Suzuno, Chiho, and Maou who had just arrived home. Thanks to their help it is quickly killed. Shortly after a gate opens and out of it falls a huge apple. It then turns into a little girl named Alas Ramus. While the group tries to learn where Alas Ramus came from, they learn that her existence is much more important than anyone could have guessed.

The Devil is a Part-Timer! Season 2 was really good in my opinion. Some people say that it wasn't as good as the first season, but I think Alas Ramus made it absolutely amazing. It had a similar feel to The Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting and Buddy Daddies. The season was mostly clean except for a few beach episodes where you see the characters in their swimsuits. It only swears once or twice throughout the season, so language is clean as well. If you liked the first season, you should definitely give this one a try as well.

Outbreak Company

After filling out a questionnaire on otaku culture to see if he is eligible for a job, Shinichi Kanou answers every single question correctly and is called in to meet a man named Jinzaburou Matoba. Matoba tells Shinichi that they have found a portal to a parallel world. In order to begin friendly relations with them, they want to introduce anime, manga, and games to them. However, nobody in the government really knows anything about it. Shinichi agrees to help and is taken to the other world. He meets with the queen who agrees to let him share his interests. After teaching his maid basic Japanese he builds a school for the youth of the kingdom of Erdant, where they can learn both Japanese and Japanese culture. While Shinichi seems to be doing his job perfectly, not everyone is satisfied with the results. It is up to Shinichi to find a solution that can satisfy everyone. Will he be able to pull it off?

Outbreak Company was better than expected. It is pretty relatable, in the same way that Anime-Gataris is. There are multiple bath scenes, as well as a swimsuit episode with a lake. Besides that the characters dress modestly, and the humor and language are both clean. If the summary above sounds interesting to you, I would give it a try,

SPY x FAMILY Season 2

After Yor comes home from another job she has an angry look on her face. Assuming that it's somehow his fault Loid makes nearly nine hundred different date plans to make her happy, unaware that its actually pain from being shot by an enemy right before he died that is causing her to act like this. After a car has arrived to pick them up she claims she would rather walk, making over seven hundred of Loid's plans fall through. Meanwhile Franky is left to watch over Anya. Refusing to stay home she suggests that they tail them to see what they do on their date. After multiple failed attempts to make Yor happy, Loid finally takes her out to dinner, where a remaining member of the gang she took down is working. To get revenge for his fallen comrades he fills a cup full of poison and has a waiter bring it to Yor. Thanks to her work as an assassin Yor had built up an immunity to poison so all it did was make her numb. Thanks to this her pain was able to go away and she was able to enjoy her date with Loid. Thanks to her telepathy and Franky's Infiltration skills, Anya is able to sneak in and give the gang member a warning to stop going after Yor and value the people he still has with him.

The first few episodes were kind of slow for me. However, once it got to the arc where the Forgers all go on a cruise it gets super interesting. The season stays clean both visually and with the humor they use. There is some swearing here and there though. Overall I would say it was super awesome. If you liked the first season I would give this a try as well.

Banished from the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside Season 2

On a sunny day Rit, Ruti, and Red go up a mountain to see if they can find a blue sapphire to be made into an engagement ring for Rit. Meanwhile Godwin takes Yarandrala into Zoltan where she believes red and Rit are. However, after a guard informs her that Godwin once tried to attack them she turns on him and is prepared to kill him until she is stopped by Tisse. Tisse informs her that they have traveled to the Wall at The World's End. After Yarandrala calms down, her and Tisse set off for The Wall at the World's End where they meet up with Ruti, Rit, and Red. It is there they learn that the blue sapphire can't be acquired due to a gem beast that has been turning all the gemstones to lead. This has caused problems for the Gem Giants who protect the mountain. Will the group find a way to beat the beast and save the gem giants from extinction?

Banished from the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside Season 2 was better than I was expecting. The whole season remains pretty clean except for a few parts. There is a hot springs scene, a bath scene, as well as clothes worn that reveal cleavage. Besides that it was really good. The language is also kept clean. Tisse remains the best character in my opinion, but the change you get to see in Ruti is also amazing. If you liked the first season I would definitely suggest giving it a try.

My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me!

As a class is traveling for a field trip, the whole bus gets transported to another world. Soon after a Sage named Sion arrives and tells them that they all will receive gifts and become sage candidates. Everyone on the bus receives special powers except four people. However, in order to become a sage, candidates have to undergo special trials. The first one being that they have to defeat a dragon. Rather than fight it they all decide to leave the giftless classmates in the bus to be eaten by the dragon while they travel. Tomochika Dannoura wakes up Yogiri Takato who then kills the dragon just by saying the word die. Unlike the other students Yogiri already had powers back on earth. The power to kill anything just by saying die, also known as Instant Death Magic in this new world. Once the dragon is defeated, Tomochika and Yogiri decide to head toward the capital.

My Instant Death Ability is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against me was pretty good. Usually I like to see the fights they have in Isekai, but I think the way the fights are presented makes it worth it to watch. The anime remains clean for the most part. There is a scene at the end of the season where Tomochika's clothes fall off because her guardian spirit is taken from her. Besides that both the language and the way people dress stays clean. If you like Isekai I would give this one a try.

Talentless Nana

People have started appearing with superpowers that are labeled as the talented. They're given a mission to destroy the enemies of humanity. To pursue that goal a school was made on a deserted island where all the talented are sent to learn how to use their powers. There are those who are arrogant and show off their power as much as possible, and there are those who hide it. Among these students is a girl named Nana who claims that she is a mind reader, when really she is talentless. However, she tricks everyone by using her observation skills to accurately guess what others are thinking. This is all a cover to hide the fact that she has been sent to the island with the order to kill the talented. Will she be able to survive, or will the difference in ability prove to be too much?

Talentless Nana was a difficult watch to be honest. I don't know if it was intentional on the authors part, but you can't help but hate Nana. There are people among the talented who seem like genuinely good people, but that doesn't matter to her. Also Kyouya Onadera and Jin Tachibana are about the only people who make this show watchable. Even though Nana goes on a killing spree Kyouya is about the only one who suspects her, while the other students seem completely unaffected by the death of their classmates. On the bright side, the language is clean. The characters all dress modestly. While their is a bath scene with Michiru you only see her leaning face down over the bathtub, so it didn't seem inappropriate to me. So while the story wasn't for me, if you are interested in the premise up above I would say feel free to give it a try.

Engage Kiss

Bayron City is a city that floats in the middle of the ocean. It promises independance and limitless possibilities for all. However, this is just a front to hide the fact that Bayron City is overrun with demons, and the government is covering it up from the rest of the world. The police have been banned from using weapons, so they are essentially powerless. In their place demon hunters are hired to keep the city safe. Among them is a man named Shu Ogata who rather than rely on his own skill has made a contract with a demon named Kisara who helps him in his fights. Because of this the other demon hunter companies try to obstruct his business, but end up relying on Kisara as well because they are no match for her overwhelming power. However, this arrangement is not without its downsides. In exchange for the power of an S-Class demon, Shu slowly begins to lose himself. Will he be able to retain his connection to the present and still be with Kisara?

Engage kiss was a pretty interesting watch. The story is a lot more depressing than your average anime, which made it harder to watch. Though the action scenes of the demon hunters fighting the demons is pretty cool to watch. While nothing inappropriate is shown, you do see things that imply that Shu is sleeping with different women, among other things. The kiss that Kisara and Shu do to draw out Kisara's power could also be considered inappropriate, but in my opinion it isn't that bad. In my opinion this is a good time passer, but not something that I would rewatch. If you are into action anime like Lycoris Recoil I would definitely suggest giving this one a go.

Butareba -The Story of a Man Turned into a Pig-

After eating raw pig liver, an otaku wakes up in another world as a pig. He is found by a girl named Jess who happens to be a Yethma. Yethma have the unique ability to communicate telepathically. Jess uses this power to communicate with pig. He learns that if he visits the king he may be able to turn human again. Jess then tells him that she is actually planning on heading there herself. While they want to go together, this trip is not without its troubles. Yethma hunters are constantly looking for Yethma's headed for the capital because of how much money they can get from selling them and their belongings. With Pig's intelligence and Jess's abilities will they be able to get the happy ending they desire?

Butareba was actually better than I was expecting. I originally watched this because I had heard that it was similar to Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon. While it does have some similarities it is more similar to My Life as Inukai-san's Dog if you took out all the ecchi scenes. There is only one ecchi scene in episode 11 where Jess and Pig take a bath together. The language stays pretty clean as well. The only really dirty thing in this anime are the comments made by pig. All in all I would say it is worth a watch if you are looking for an Isekai anime that is different from the norm.

Manyu Scroll

In a world where a woman's chest size determines her status and wealth, there is a clan called The Manyuu Clan. This clan has trained Samurai and Assassins a technique that allows one to make a woman flat by cutting them without damaging the skin. The heir to the clan, Chifusa Manyuu runs away with the scroll that contains all of The Manyuu Clan's secret technique's. Having been fed up with a world where a woman's appearance is all that matters, Chifusa vows to change it as she goes on a journey to visit Munamori Village, where her mother grew up. Will she be able to survive all the assassin's that are sent to retrieve the secret scroll? And if she does what will she have to sacrifice in order to keep it?

As far as the story goes for Manyu Scroll, I actually liked it. It was a nice story about a girl who wanted to change the world that her family ruined. However, it is completely uncensored even on sites that usually censor anime's like Crunchyroll. That is why I have labeled it to be avoided at all cost. There is a bath scene, a beach episode, as well as scenes in every episode where somebody's chest is exposed. So the only people that should watch this are people that are looking for uncensored fan service.

ASSASSINS PRIDE

Melida Angel has been bullied because at the age of 13 she still hasn't obtained her mana which usually manifests around age 7. After getting tutored by Kufa Vampir her mana is awakened but the class of paladin which her family has held for generations is not what she obtained. She obtained the Samurai class, the same one as Kufa. Even though people try and use this fact against her, Melida takes pride in being a samurai. After rumors start spreading that Melida isn't part of the Angel family, Kufa trains her on how to use her mana, so that she can prove herself to everyone, and eventually reach her dream of joining Crest Legion the most powerful guild there is. Will Melida be able to achieve her aspirations?

Assassin's Pride was actually really good. This world that the story takes place in has a similar feel to The Eminence in Shadow's World. In this world people don't use magic to cast Spells but use it to enhance their physical abilities. All the characters dress modestly for the majority of the show. There are two scenes where you see Melida with a towel on, but she is lying down for it. There is a scene where Melida and her friends are turned into fairy tale characters. One of the girls gets turned into the little mermaid and a large amount of skin is shown. It does swear two or three times but the language stays pretty clean for the most part. I would definitely suggest watching it if you are looking for a fantasy anime that doesn't follow your typical Isekai story.

Dead Mount Death Play

A necromancer known as the Corpse God is targeted by a man known for taking down opponents far stronger than him. Shagrua Edith Lugrid also known as the Calamity Crusher can see the dead, an ability he shares with the Corpse God. As they fight The Corpse God is brought to the brink of destruction, but right before he dies, The Corpse God uses a reincarnation spell. He wakes up in an abandoned alley in the body of a boy named Polka Shinoyama who had just been killed. Needless to say this caused a commotion for both the police and the hitmen who had taken him out. His Killer Misaki Sakimiya comes after him again but is killed and brought back as a zombie. After learning of his power Misaki's boss Clarissa lends Polka a place to stay as well as the help of two of her subordinates Misaki and Takumi Kuruya. Together they start their own fortune telling business using Polka's ability to speak with Ghosts as help in getting information on their clients. But while Polka dreams of a quiet life, he is in for a big surprise as he learns about the history of Shinjuku as well as the building he currently inhabits.

Dead Mount Death Play was a lot more interesting than I thought it would be. I was expecting an Isekai when I first heard about it, but was met with a Reverse Isekai. It starts out hard to watch, but gets better the farther you get into it. It stays mostly clean, but there is a shower scene where both Polka's Cousin and Misaki are undressed, as well as scenes where girls are dressed immodestly in the bar that Clarissa owns. I think it is worth a watch, but it does have a darker feel than most anime, which I know isn't for everyone. Though if you like Mystery anime I would suggest giving it a try.

The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy

After his home is attacked rather than fight back the Demon Lord of Death Leonis Death Magnus decides to sleep for a thousand years and then rebuild his army when he wakes up. However, he isn't woken up in his previous Demon Lord form, but the body he had when he was Leonis the Hero. Leo is found by two students of Excalibur Academy. A school that focuses on training Holy Swordsmen to fight creatures called Voids. While he had originally planned to rebuild his undead army, Leo learns that the world is completely different than how he had imagined it would be. Sorcery has been completely forgotten as well as the people and events that happened a thousand years prior. Now people rely on technology that makes use of mana. So Leo decides it would be better to hide who he is and enrolls at Excalibur Academy to learn more about the current state of the world.

The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy was really interesting. It had a similar feel to Absolute Duo with it taking place at a school and having weapons that are associated with your soul. However, the focus on the undead kind of gave me the feeling I had while I was watching Overlord as well. There are a lot of shower and bath scenes, as well as moments when Selia is just walking around in a towel. The fan service doesn't go beyond that. There is quite a bit of swearing throughout the season. If you don't mind the swearing and fan service I would definitely suggest it.
