Umamusume: Cinderella Gray Season 1 Part 2

After losing to Tamamo Cross at the Tenno Sho, Oguri is determined to beat her at the Japan Cup. Though Oguri can tell that Tamamo posesses something that she doesn't, and she won't be able to beat her unless she obtains it herself. Meanwhile Racers from all over the world come to japan to compete in the Japan Cup. Sensing that there could be trouble with all the unknown racers, Musaka sends Belno Light to work undercover as a reporter and learn everything she can, so Oguri can be prepared when the time comes. But will Belno's Research and Musaka's advice be enough to close the gap between where Oguri is and where she strives to be?

Umamusume: Cinderella Gray Season 1 Part 2 was absolutely wild. While the Japan Cup was intense, The Arima Kinen was even more so. While the races didn't seem as frequent as they did in the first cour, the ones that do happen are definitely worth the wait. I really enjoyed seeing more slice of life type scenes this time around. I feel like you get to know Oguri's classmates a lot more, which is really fun, and makes you want to see more of them. Yaeno Muteki, Sakura Chiyono O, Mejiro Arden, and Dicta Striker in particular left an impression on me. The season has no lewd scenes, but there is a bit of swearing here and there. If you enjoyed the first cour, I would definitely suggest giving the 2nd cour a watch as well.

TASOKARE HOTEL

A girl wakes up in a barren wasteland. Up ahead is a hotel with nothing surrounding it, save for a few rocky formations. She walks in and is greeted by a man with a flame for a head. He tells her that she has arrived at Tasokare Hotel. A place that exists between the living world and the afterlife. People stay here until they remember who they are and whether they are dead or alive. She is then shown to her room, by a man named Atori. He helps her find things in her room that allow her to remember who she is. Her name is Neko Tsukuhara. After seeing the hotel she decides to work there. Will she be able to find herself, while helping others do the same?

TASOKARE HOTEL is one of the most wild anime's I have ever watched. despite only taking place in a single location, the world building is amazing. I also thoroughly enjoyed watching different characters personal stories unfold. The anime is free of fan service. There is a beach episode, but no swimsuits. It does have adult topics like murder. Though I think it is totally worth the watch.

Umamusume: Cinderella Gray

Belno Light is a new student at Kasamatsu Tracen Academy. Kasamatsu Academy is known for training Horse Girls or Umamusume for regional races. While there are national races, no umamusume from Kasamatsu has ever had the skill to make it there. Belno is convinced that she is going to work hard and do well in the races. Then she meets Oguri Cap, an umamusume who stands out in more ways than one. Rather than showing up to class in the schools uniform, she shows up in a jersey covered in dirt. This along with her attitude that seems almost absentminded gets her new classmates attention. The Other Umamusume try and bully her by kicking her out of her room, and untying her shoelaces before a race to make Oguri have a late start. However, she still manages to make second place in her first race in Kasamatsu. This gets the attention of Jo Kitahara who is a regional trainer. He takes both Oguri Cap and Belno Light, and trains them to participate in his dream of winning the Tokai Derby.

Umamusume: Cinderella Gray was way better than I was expecting. I wasn't planning on watching this originally, but I decided to jump in after seeing a post on Instagram threads about it. Cinderella Gray is a wholesome story with clean language, and good visuals. If you are into sports type anime, I would definitely suggest giving it a try.

Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc.

In this world there are monsters called kai that can have devastating affects on both people and places. To combat this Magical Girl Companies were created. Kana Sakuragi is a new graduate and she is willing to work any job. No matter how many companies interview her, she can't seem to get accepted. It isn't until a Kai appears in the location she is currently at where she meets a magical girl named Hitomi Koshigaya. While Magical Girls aren't supposed to get citizens involved, Hitomi doesn't care and asks Kana to help her out. Luckily Kana had prior experience with the software this particular Magical Girl was using, After taking Care of the Kai, Kana is invited to join Magilumiere. While it is only a small start up, every member of the team knows exactly what they are doing. Kana joins and becomes Magilumiere's second Magical Girl. Will she be able to fit in in this new environment?

I enjoyed Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc a lot. I feel like every Magical Girl anime I've seen has been unique and Magilumiere is no exception. It was kind of like The Irregular at Magic High School in the sense that magic is created using technology in this world. Having done some programming in the past I enjoyed watching the engineering aspect of Magical Girl Companies. There is some swearing here and there, but it isn't often enough to be noticeable. There also isn't any fan service, which is good. If you like the Magical Girl genre or my summary sounds interesting to you, I would suggest giving it a try.

Armed Girl's Machiavellism

After schools decided that they couldn't deal with Fudo Nomura, they send him to Aichi Coexistence Academy. This is a school where problem students are sent to learn to coexist with society. All he wants to do is to leave and to do that he needs permission from the top five most powerful students at the academy. All the students before him have dressed and acted like girls to avoid being targeted. So When Fudo refuses to do so he earns the wrath of the Five Swords and all the girls that follow them. Will he be able to survive when the whole school is against him?

Armed Girls Machiavellism was different than I was expecting. I misunderstood a review I read and thought that this was about a guy who disguises himself like a girl to blend in. So I assumed it would be something like Onimai or Himegoto. But it was actually the complete opposite. Though I didn't enjoy it at first I started to like the relationships with the students he created by fighting with them. It is also fun to see people who seem cold hearted slowly start to change. There isn't much fan service except a scene where Fudo fights a girl name Satori in the Bath after she framed him to take away his friends.  You do also see the part of the empress's chest after part of her shirt is destroyed in a fight. There isn't much swearing though. If you want something different from you average slice of life high school anime I would give this one a try.

The Anthem of the Heart

Jun Naruse grew up with an active imagination, as well as a talent for talking. She would often go see a castle on the mountain where she would dream of attending a ball. One day she saw her dad come out of it with another woman. Jun told her mom about what she saw. After figuring out that her father had cheated on her mother they got a divorce. both parents blamed it on Jun for talking so much. This lead to her not talking at all. Jun didn't say a word for years until one day when she was chosen to help out with a project for the school. While she may not have said things out loud, there were always words that she kept in her heart, which she longed for someone to hear. Watch as Jun finds the courage to say whats really in her heart, and how it affects the people around her.

The Anthem of the heart is a really good movie. It uses a lot of text so I would suggest watching it on something where the text is translated like prime videos. There is some swearing, but I think that the emotions that the movie make you feel make it totally worth it. Everybody dresses modestly, which I think is good. I would definitely suggest giving it a watch.

Seven Senses of the Re'Union

When he was in elementary school Haruto Amo played the MMO game Union with his friends. However, after his friend Asahi dies the guild known as Subaru falls apart and Union was shut down. Haruto didn't touch video games again until he gets a call from someone he knows telling him that a new version of Union has come out called Reunion. Reluctantly Haruto logs on with his old information to help with a quest. When they reach the end they find a chest and fearing it might be a trap they ask Haruto to open it. What he finds is more surprising than any trap he could have run into. Asahi pops out of the chest with no memory of the past six years. Will Haruto be able to solve the mystery of how Asahi is still alive?

I have mixed feelings about Seven Senses of the Reunion. I am really glad to have found another Adventuring anime, and the action and story is really well done in my opinion. However, this seemed to be more emotional than your usual isekai anime. That made it harder to watch for me. It bears a shocking resemblance to Anohana: The flower we saw that day. However, it has a much more satisfying ending than Anohana did in my opinion. It does swear a little bit in each episode. There is a scene where you see Satsuki and Asahi in bathing suits when they are on the beach waiting for a quest. There is also a part where Asahi falls in the river and takes off her clothes, but Haruto hides her so you don't see anything. The only other thing is that you see Nozomi wearing a revealing outfit in the last episode for a few minutes. I would definitely suggest it if you are looking for something different than your usual isekai anime. It has a lot of depth which I think is good.

Demon Lord, Retry!

After shutting down the server to his game, Akira Oono is sent to another world as his character Hakuto Kunai. right away he meets a little girl named Aku who has been sent as a sacrifice to a monster, which Hakuto beets in a matter of seconds. Because of this feat Aku believes that Hakuto is the Demon Lord. Since He is stuck there Hakuto decides to learn more about this world, as well as make a business making a hospital as well as a hot springs resort. With this business he is able to take care of Aku as well as the other people who decide to follow him. However, word of him being the demon lord spreads which causes him to make enemies. Will Hakuto be able to complete his endeavors as he makes his way in the world?

The story for Demon Lord, Retry! was interesting and kept me wanting more. It does swear quite a bit and because the business he creates is a hot springs resort you see a lot of the girls chests exposed. There is also an adventurer who wears a revealing outfit throughout the series. Some parts are censored but not the whole thing. If you like isekai and those things don't bother you I would give it a try.

Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku

 

Narumi Momose wakes up late on her first day at a new job. Her sole reason for leaving is because her secret of being an otaku gets found out. She believes that everything will be fine until she runs into her childhood friend Hirotaka, who asks her if she is going to comiket in front of two of their coworkers. However, Kabakura and Koyanagi also happen to be Otaku's. After inviting Hirotaka for a drink a few times Narumi talks about how it has been hard dating non Otaku's. Hirotaka then suggest that she should go out with an Otaku meaning himself. After agreeing, a relationship full of manga, video games, and anime starts to bloom. 

Wotakoi is pretty clean. There is some swearing in a few episodes. The characters stay modest for the most part the exception being Koyanagi taking a bath in episode seven and Hirotaka getting out of the bath in episode eleven, however that scene is censored. Overall I would definitely suggest it. I felt like this was the most relatable romance I have seen. It also makes references to real anime and manga so it is cool to see ones you have watched or recognize.

Sword Oratoria: Is it Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? On the Side

During the incident at Monsterphila when Freya let the monsters into the city, a new monster showed up that no one had seen before. Loki approaches Freya to complain that her familia are the only ones that got hurt. However, they find out that the monster that hurt them was not released by Freya. After further investigation, the Loki familia realizes that this is a lot larger problem than they had anticipated. Watch as they hunt monsters to save Orario from danger.

Sword Oratoria takes place during the same time season one does. The only difference is rather than following the exploits of Bell Cranel it shows what the Loki familia was doing during that time. So you do see events overlap but overall it is a pretty unique season. There is some swearing, and there are moments when you do see girls dressed inappropriately like when they are at a hot spring in the dungeon, or just the outfit that Tione wears. 

Clannad

There was very little Tomoya Okazaki liked about the city he lived in. While he felt that life had not necessarily been fair, that all changed when he meets a repeat student named Nagisa Furukawa. He decides to help her with her dream of bringing the theater club back after it shut down. They grow even closer when they start to help a girl named Fuko Ibuki who spends all her time creating starfish sculptures and hands them out in hopes that people will come to her sisters wedding. Will everything work out like they hope?

Clannad can be hard to watch at first but at the latter half of the anime it becomes easier. nobody dresses inappropriately in this anime.  However, there is quite a bit of swearing. Overall if you are starting out I would not suggest it, but if you find that slice of life is something you like I would give it a watch.
