After destroying the world and creating a new one, Arata Kasuga is targeted by a mage named Lilith Asami. She tells him that he is a demon lord candidate and that he must die in order to save the world or have his memories erased. Unwilling to choose either Arata decides to become a mage so he can control his powers. Lilith takes him to a magic academy full of female mages in training. It is at this academy where the seven most powerful mages in the world are called the Trinity Seven. Each one has mastered a specific field of magic. However, even though he has joined their academy some still see Arata as the enemy and target him whenever possible. Will Arata be able to get the Trinity Seven on his side and gain the power he needs to fulfill his goals?
Trinity Seven was really interesting. it kind of reminded me of a number of different anime's. The premise kind of feels like Infinite Stratos, but the characters are less annoying. Arata is a pervert, but acts composed when confronted with a unexpected situation. Levi reminds me of Chiyome from Skeleton knight, and Arin reminds me of Origami from Date A Live. The Anime also does have a Date A Live feel with how often the girls clothes disappear. But unlike Date A Live where the spirit's armor disappears once their powers are sealed, In Trinity Seven it is when Arata uses his magic cancelling spell. Their are scenes like that in every episode as well as a beach episode, a hot springs scene, bathing scenes, and situations where Arata unintentionally grabs ahold of different girls chests. However, it is censored here and there. There is a little bit of swearing but it is not that noticeable. If you don't like fan service I would suggest skipping this, but if you can look past that it is pretty entertaining to watch. I would suggest giving it a try, and if you don't like it you can drop it.
