KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World

After being thrown in the ocean by his father as a ritual for his questionable religion, Yukito wishes to live in a world where the concept of God doesn't exist. The next thing he knows there is a girl leaning over him and shaking his body. She apologizes over and over once he wakes up. Believing that he has been placed in your typical RPG Style world Yukito starts looking for an adventurers guild as well as some way to use magic. However, this world seems to be devoid of that as well. So Yukito spends his days farming and learning more until his friends are kidnapped and sentenced to death by the capital. As he stares at Aruraru and Shiruriru who gave him a place to stay and became his first friends lying on the floor he wishes that it was them that had survived rather than him. At that moment Mitama who was the god of Yukito's father's religion falls from the sky swallows up the angry mob surrounding them and brings Aruraru and Shiruriru back to life. After that Yukito is determined to protect the village that he and his friends live in. He does this by making Mitama's presence and power known. The number of followers a god has determines their power. Will Mitama be able to gain enough power to protect the village from the corrupt empire?

This isn't like your typical Isekai anime. It has a really dark feeling, and goes away from your usual magic and adventurer storyline. It is more of a Slow Life anime. It kind of has the feeling of High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even In Another World, when they try and make Akatsuki their god. However, rather than doing it for one episode this does it for the majority of the series. Kamikatsu does have a lot of swearing. It also has a lot of questionable content which is somewhat censored. Episodes six through eight are particularly bad since they try and take over a religion that is based on lust. The leader of that cult has the power to make people fall in love to the point where it's out of their physical and mental control, So if you do decide to watch this I would just be aware that its more ecchi than a lot of other anime's. Rather than having questionable content in one or two episodes this one has it for just about every episode.
