This story is about the lives of a girl named Ai and a salaryman who meet every Monday on the train. You see what Ai's life is like when she goes to school and work, as well as the salaryman's private life and work. Despite only meeting on the train both try to keep in touch with each other in hopes of growing closer.
Tawawa on Monday stays modest for the most part, except for a scene where Ai sends a picture of her in her swimsuit to the salaryman, as well as a scene where a button comes off of her work uniform revealing part of her bra. The rest of the anime focus's on the story of their lives, though there is frequent comments about the size of girls chests. There is no swearing during the anime. It is also a short, so each episode is around five minutes.
