After noticing how weak the new demon slayers are, The Master orders that the Hashira train the other demon slayers to make them stronger. It is also a good time to do it because the demons are spending their time searching for Nezuko rather than causing trouble in towns and cities. Each Hashira trains the demon slayers on a skill necessary for them to improve such as strength and flexibility. But with such a huge gap between their abilities will the new demon slayers have the will to endure it?
The Hashira Training Arc was just what I was hoping for after watching Swordsmith Village Arc. Rather than being repetitive by showing huge fights with strong demons, Demon Slayer managed to mix it up by focusing on the demon slayers improving their skill through training rather than combat. As the series has progressed I have come to appreciate every Hashira with the exception of the Wind Hashira. My original feelings after watching the end of season 1 was that the Hashira were all cruel. In the case of the Wind Hashira I was right and he managed to stay true to himself and be an abusive jerk till the end. This season managed to stay clean with the exception of Mitsuri Kanroji who occasionally lets her cleavage show. While there were a few bath scenes it didn't feel inappropriate since the large majority of the Demon Slayer Corps is made up of boys. The language is clean as well. If you liked the previous seasons I would definitely suggest giving this a watch.
