Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale

Virtual Reality Players have stopped playing full dive games ever since the Augma came out. The Augma is an Augmented Reality machine which people find safer since you are completely awake and in control of your body when you use it. The company who created it also made a game called Ordinal Scale. Ordinal Scale gives everyone a rank. If you raise your rank enough you can get prizes from different companies. You raise your rank by defeating monsters that appear throughout the city. While it seems like a game at first, Kirito learns that there is something much more sinister going on. Players start losing their memories and end up hospitalized. Will he be able to figure out how to help those being affected before something much worse happens?

Ordinal Scale was a pretty cool movie. While watching a Full Dive VRMMORPG anime is cool, seeing it change to Augmented Reality gave the movie a totally different feel. However, it retained the charm that Sword Art Online has. This movie takes place in between the second and third season in case you want to watch all of Sword Art Online in order. It was surprisingly really clean compared to Season 1 and Season 2. There is a bath scene but you don't even see Asuna's body, just her face. That is if you watch it on crunchyroll, if you watch it on a different site there is a chance that it will be uncensored. Overall I would highly recommend this if you liked the first and second seasons of Sword Art Online.
