A Salad Bowl of Eccentrics

After getting chased by assassins, the seventh princess of the Ofim empire jumps into a void which leads to modern day Japan. She lands on top of a poor detective who brings her into his home. After a warm meal he talks about her leaving, which Sara agrees to, but she would have to wipe his memory. Not willing to lose his memories, Sosuke Kaburaya lets Sara stay. Little did Sara know that her attendant Livia had also jumped into the void and had been living life as a homeless person. After failing to become a detective so she could live with Sara, she promises to find a job that pays enough for them to live together. Will Livia actually be able to pull it off with no experience and skills besides swordplay?

A Salad Bowl of Eccentrics is actually a really cute anime. It could even be considered to show to younger audiences, however, it is ruined by the fan service it provides. While it is not every episode, many of the episodes contain inappropriate scenes such as multiple bath scenes, a shower scene, a hot springs scene, a scene of Livia bathing in a Lake, as well as multiple scenes of Livia undressed so that she can make a company she works for can make the perfect toy replica of her. While there is a lot of unnecessary fan service the story and relationships that the characters build are all wholesome. If you are fine with fan service and like slice of life stories that have the same feel as spy family and Mr. Villains Day Off. I would give it a try. But if you don't like the Ecchi genre you can try it but just know there is a fair amount of ecchi scenes despite it not being labeled as an ecchi anime by official sites.

Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions Season 2

Isshiki Totomaru gets put on a case when he finds a man who was impaled on a statue. Ron and Isshiki learn that the man was part of a group of hackers who's cryptocurrency scheme had failed recently. On the body of the dead hacker they find a message that says 010:00. Ron deduces that the entire hacking group is going to be killed and 10:00 is the time of the next murder. Isshiki runs to locations that bear a resemblance to a 0. But right as he finds the next hacking group member steam rises up from the ground. Once the steam cleared, the criminal was found dead with an arrow through his chest. The third and last member of the group stood nearby panicking as he feared he would be next. To get to the bottom of things, as well as to keep the criminal alive, Isshiki sticks with the last criminal. Not long after the criminal gets a phone call telling him to meet at a certain building nearby. Will Isshiki and Ron be able to save the criminal or will he die like the others?

Ron Kamonohashi's Forbidden Deductions Season 2 was even better than the first season. You get to learn more about The House of Moriarty and the connection Ron has with them that was hinted at in Season 1. I also loved the different cases that were shown in this season. The Beachside murder was probably my favorite though. There is a bath scene in this season, but like the hot springs scene in season 1 it is used to house a dead body. There are also two beach episodes. I would definitely suggest watching this season if you enjoyed the first season. It is also good for people who enjoy the mystery genre of anime.

Eromanga Sensei

Masamune Izumi has just finished his current manga series silver wolf reincarnation. However, it is not popular enough to keep paying for his current living arrangement. He currently lives with his little stepsister who spends her days locked in her room. Masamune brings her meals in hopes that she will one day come out and they can talk. Meanwhile people are wondering who Masamune's illustrator Eromanga sensei actually is. Masamune tells them that he's never met the guy. It isn't until he goes and watches a stream of Eromanga sensei that he learns their identity. While Eromanga Sensei is wearing a mask, you can see in the background the meal that Masamune had made for his little sister Sagiri. What will become of the siblings now that Masamune knows Eromanga Sensei's secret identity?

Eromanga Sensei was a pretty fun watch. It felt different from other anime's that focus on the love between siblings. It kind of has a similar feel to Onimai: I'm Now Your Sister, in that both siblings become closer thanks to new circumstances. While Sagiri remains a shut in she is still able to make new friends using skype and with the people that Masamune brings over. Masamune is also able to make new friends as he tries to make a new light novel and finds out authors to consult with. The warm feeling I got from this anime, had me smiling from beginning to end. While there are quite a few ecchi scenes its mainly girls in swimsuits. There is a bath scene, but all you see is Sagiri's head. There are also two beach episodes, and the art that Sagiri draws. If seeing girls in swimsuits is too much for you then don't watch it. However, it has a good story and is probably the most interesting anime I have seen where the anime focuses on an author as the main character. I would definitely suggest it, though I understand it's not for everyone.

Gabriel Dropout Specials

After winning tickets to a hot springs inn, Satania, Gabriel, Vignette, and Raphiel travel by train to get there. While everyone packed light since they are only staying one night, Satania brought a large suitcase with her. Vignette, Gabriel, and Raphiel assume that she's excited to go to the hot springs, however, Satania has an evil deed planned that is sure to ruin Gabriel's day. After that the four girls meet a slightly blind girl while they are walking in the park. They soon learn that she is scheduled to have surgery in hopes of getting her eyesight back. While they wait for the operation day Satania, Gabriel, Vignette, and Raphiel each visit her individually and try to do what they can to help her.

Gabriel Dropout Specials were more interesting than I thought they would be. It's been almost two years since I saw this one so I don't really remember the plot. Luckily you don't need to have any knowledge of the plot to enjoy these two special episodes. There is a Hot springs episode, but it is censored. If you want something interesting to watch while you don't know what else to watch, give these a try.

I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History

In her past life Alicia's friends all wanted to be the heroine of the otome game they were playing, but Alicia said that she preferred the villainess. Not too long after she is reborn in the world of the otome game as Alicia Williams. However, unlike the game Alicia is determined to be a better villainess than the game made her out to be, so she goes to the library and tries to learn as much about the world as she can. She even asks her brothers to train her with the sword. However, they don't believe Alicia has the resolve to do it, so they ask her to do 100 push ups and 100 sit ups. After proving that she is capable of having the strength needed to use a sword, her brother Albert has her doing practice swings. Will Alicia become a villainess who goes down in history?

I'll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History was a good anime. Though I tend to enjoy any anime that has the word villainess in the title. While it holds a similarity to villainess level 99 and My Next Life as a Villainess, in the sense that they all take place at a magic school, I'll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in history feels unique. I like that they had Alicia kind of living a double life by going to the city of Roana at night and acting like a noble during the day. I also think that Alicia's definition of villainess is funny, since there are lines she is not willing to cross. In one episode she describes herself as a villainess with integrity. If you enjoy other villainess anime's, or just like the magic school fantasy setting you will probably enjoy this one as well. I really enjoyed it and would suggest giving it a try.

The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor

Jill Cervel spent years of her life trying to be helpful to prince Gerard of the Kratos Kingdom. While she was officially engaged to him, she figured out that his true love was actually his little sister Princess Faris. Once he found out that Jill knew his secret he had her killed by framing her for crimes she didn't commit. However, after being stabbed with a spear she woke up as her 10 year old self on the day she was supposed to be engaged to Prince Gerard. Rather than face the past she ended up proposing to the first person she saw, who was the dragon emperor. Hadis Teos Rave had killed countless numbers of people in her previous life. To Jill's surprise, Hadis was elated that she was willing to be with him and took her to his own country.

The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor in my opinion. Some people have a problem with it due to the age gap, but that didn't really bother me. The anime has a great story, and fun characters. It's kind of like 7th time loop, but it doesn't have as serious a tone as that one. The entire anime uses clean language, and everyone dresses modestly. I would suggest giving it a try if you enjoy fantasy/romance type anime.

The Testament of Sister New Devil

Basara Toujou has lived his life with his dad Jin Toujou. One day while they are eating out Basara's dad tells him that he is about to get new sisters. having a hard time accepting it Basara heads to the bathroom where he is met by Mio Naruse his new sister. After meeting Jin, Basara, Mio, and Maria all move to a new place where there is enough space to live together. Now that they are all together and aquainted Jin travels to a different country for work leaving Basara, Mio, and Maria alone together. Now that they are alone Mio and Maria reveal to Basara that they are demons, and Mio is the previous demon king's daughter. They then tell him to get out. However, Basara grew up in the village of the hero clan, and isn't afraid to turn his sword against demons. Will Mio, Maria, and Basara be able to find a way to get along, or will things end with one side losing their lives?

The Testament of Sister New Devil is a very unique anime. The story is good, and I enjoy the characters. There is quite a bit of fan service in it. there are multiple bath and shower scenes, as well as scenes of girls getting undressed either in the locker room, the bedroom, or elsewhere. Thanks to Maria, Mio is under a succubus curse that was formed by a master-servant pact going wrong. In other words, when she tries to betray Basara, the aphrodisiac affect kicks in and can only be stopped by Basara laying his hands on her. It isn't the worst level of fan service i have seen, but its up there. If you are into the ecchi genre you can give it a try. However, if you like clean and wholesome anime, I would suggest looking elsewhere for you next watch.

Let This Grieving Soul Retire

Its a brand new era where treasure vaults appear with monsters and precious relics. Those who search these vaults are known as Treasure Hunters. The largest clan of treasure hunters is known as First Steps. It consists of five parties which are Grieving Souls, Ark Brave, Obsidian Cross, Starlight, and Knight of the Torch. The Strongest of all of these hunters is Krai Andrey also known as Thousand Tricks. While his fellow Party mates are away Krai is asked to recruit more members to the clan. the first thing he tries to do is escape, but right as a fight is breaking out he is spotted. While Krai considers himself to be weak, he has an odd quirk where everything he says comes true. This has garnered a reputation where others see him as an extremely powerful individual, which often gets in the way of him trying to relax. Will Krai ever get his desire of trying to retire as a treasure hunter?

Let this Grieving Soul Retire was an interesting anime. It was kind of similar to No Longer Allowed in Another World in that the main character doesn't want to do anything. However, what I got it confused with the most was The Most Notorious "Talker" Runs the World's Greatest Clan. The reason for that is that Let this grieving sould retire starts out by introducing a clan, whereas the clan isn't introduced until the end in The Most Notorious "Talker" Runs the World's Greatest Clan. I wouldn't call this one a must see anime, but I think it is worth giving a try. There is no fan service, and the language remains clean.

As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World Season 2

Couran has summoned Ars to a war council in the city of Semplar. He travels there accompanied by Rietz, Charlotte, Rosell, and Mireille. When they finally get there most of the men loyal to Couran only see Ars as a child rather than a lord with his own territory. Once the war council starts, someone suggests attacking the city of Belzud since they have the advantage in resources and soldiers. However, mireille speaks up and points out that this plan would give the enemy a chance to attack Semplar. Since the men would most likely turn back, they would have lost Semplar and failed to capture Belzud. So Rosell Proposes that they gain another province's help by bribing them. Couran agrees that this is a better plan, so he puts Ars in charge of it. After the council ends Ars and his retainers go to find Licia who excels in diplomacy. While she agrees to help, she also has a request of her own. Will things work out for Ars and those he holds dear?

As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World Season 2 was just as good as the first season, if not better. There are a lot of good things about this season such as learning the back stories of Pham and Mireille. I also believe that having Ars participate in the war for the majority of the season gives it a charm that the first season didn't have. There was no fan service, and the language is kept clean. If you enjoyed the first season, or want a Isekai unlike any other, I would suggest giving this one a try.

The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party, Is, in Fact, the Strongest

Laust is a Healer who can only perform one spell. Because of this he got the name Laust the ignoramus. While he has been in adventuring parties in the past each one took advantage of him, whether it be to use him as a sacrifice, rob him, or break down his confidence each one took a toll. One day a blue haired girl named Narsena shows up and asks to be in the same party as him. Others tried to warn her, but she claimed that if she was going to be an adventurer, it had to be with Laust. So after signing up as an official party Laust takes Narsena to the highest floor of the dungeon where the weakest monsters are supposed to be. However, among the goblins they find a higher level monster that isn't supposed to show up until the middle floors. While they were able to take care of it, this mystery would be the first sign that the city of Mardat, where they lived, would be thrust into unprecedented danger.

The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party, Is, in Fact, the Strongest was an interesting anime. While the whole banished from the party trope has been done before with anime's like Beast Tamer, The Banished Former Hero Lives as he Pleases, and Banished From the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life Out in the Country, this one felt pretty unique. I really like the characters in this one. I think my favorite thing about it is the relationship between Narsena and Laust. Despite being used Laust has a kind and calm attitude while Narsena has a happy and inviting attitude. It just made me want to see them succeed. There is no fan service in this anime. The language is kept clean as well. If you like fantasy anime where the main characters are adventurers, I would give this one a try.

Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc.

In this world there are monsters called kai that can have devastating affects on both people and places. To combat this Magical Girl Companies were created. Kana Sakuragi is a new graduate and she is willing to work any job. No matter how many companies interview her, she can't seem to get accepted. It isn't until a Kai appears in the location she is currently at where she meets a magical girl named Hitomi Koshigaya. While Magical Girls aren't supposed to get citizens involved, Hitomi doesn't care and asks Kana to help her out. Luckily Kana had prior experience with the software this particular Magical Girl was using, After taking Care of the Kai, Kana is invited to join Magilumiere. While it is only a small start up, every member of the team knows exactly what they are doing. Kana joins and becomes Magilumiere's second Magical Girl. Will she be able to fit in in this new environment?

I enjoyed Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc a lot. I feel like every Magical Girl anime I've seen has been unique and Magilumiere is no exception. It was kind of like The Irregular at Magic High School in the sense that magic is created using technology in this world. Having done some programming in the past I enjoyed watching the engineering aspect of Magical Girl Companies. There is some swearing here and there, but it isn't often enough to be noticeable. There also isn't any fan service, which is good. If you like the Magical Girl genre or my summary sounds interesting to you, I would suggest giving it a try.

You are Ms. Servant

Hitoyoshi Yokoya lives by himself. He never cleaned, and wasn't responsible. One day he hears a knock at the door, and a girl in a maid outfit asks if she can work for him. When he asks about what skills she has, Hitoyoshi learns that she is a former assassin. Since he doesn't have any enemies he needs killed, he sends her away. However, after she leaves he finds a bell that belongs to her, and tries to run and give it back. Right as he finds her a truck comes and nearly hits him, but the maid sees him and is able to tackle him so that he can be safe. After that Hitoyoshi decides to hire her. After hiring her, Hitoyoshi learns that while she may dress like a maid she has absolutely no experience cooking and cleaning. So he shows her how its done, and thus begins a story of new beginnings for both of them.

You are Ms. Servant was a relaxing slice of life anime. While there are romantic moments throughout the season, the two don't ever become a couple. The anime kind of has a Spy x Family and Mr. Villains Day Off feel. It is definitely a good anime to start out with if you haven't watched all that much. I also think romance and slice of life anime fans will be able to enjoy it as well. While there is a bath scene, the majority of the anime is free of fan service. The language is kept clean as well. I would definitely suggest it.

The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim

200 years before Bilbo Baggins obtained the ring of power, there was Rohan. In Rohan there was a girl named Hera who spent her days riding her horse and training with the sword. Some called her wild and free, but the king loved her all the same. Hera was the daughter of Helm Hammerhand, king of Rohan. One day while he is meeting with those loyal to him a noble named Frecka approaches him with his son Wulf. Frecka suggests that rather than marrying Hera off to a noble in Gondor, that he should strengthen Rohan by having Hera marry his son Wulf. Not willing to give her up yet, and knowing that Frecka's true purpose is obtaining the throne of Rohan, Helm challenges him. After hitting Frecka once, Helm ends up killing him. It is then that Wulf promised to avenge his father by killing off everyone in the royal family. Will Rohan be able to survive the war that Wulf has promised?

I enjoyed The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim a lot more than I expected. Though it was animated it kept the feel of the original movies. The Music, voice acting, and animation were all absolutely amazing. I liked how this movie took place in the past because you get insight into how a few of the places, people, and events in the lord of the rings came to be. The language is clean in The War of the Rohirrim. There is also no fan service. If you get the chance to watch it I would definitely suggest giving a watch.

Recently, My Sister Is Unusual

Mitsuki Kanzaki's mom just got remarried and she has to move in with her new father and brother. However, she has a serious distrust of men after seeing her mom getting rejected time and time again. She has no plans on acting like a family, until one day she is greeted by a ghost named Hiyori Kotobuki. After Hiyori and Mitsuki visit the spirit world, a pair of underwear is put on Mitsuki which can only be taken off after she has satisfied Hiyori's desire for a romantic relationship with her new brother. Will they be able to accomplish whats necessary for Hiyori to move on to the next life?

Recently, My Sister is Unusual had a fun concept. I think that not living your own romance, but living someone else's is a cool idea. There is a lot of fan service. There's multiple bath scenes, a pool episode, as well as multiple hot springs scene. There are also a lot of jokes about the size of Mitsuki's chest. I would suggest this to people who are fans of the ecchi genre as well as those who enjoy step-brother and step-sister romances. However, I don't believe that there's a huge group of people that fit into that category. So if you do give it a try, it will be clear to you by the first episode whether or not its actually for you.

DAN DA DAN

Ken Takakura has always been friendless. One day while he is being bullied, a girl named Momo Ayase sits down in front of ken which gets the bullies to stop. Not willing to let a potential friend go away he starts talking to her about the occult. When he starts talking about Aliens Momo mentions that she doesn't believe in Aliens but she believes in Ghosts. Ken laughs and tells her that Ghosts don't exist. With neither one willing to give up on their personal beliefs Ken sends Momo to a hospital where a UFO is said to be spotted, while Momo sends ken to a tunnel that is said to be haunted. It turns out that both Aliens and Ghosts exist. Due to their bet Ken is cursed and Momo is abducted by aliens.

DAN DA DAN was a lot better than I was expecting. I feel like every character has their own personal charm. That is until you get to the last two episodes where Jiji is introduced. His behavior makes me cringe. While the anime is cute at times,  but the overall plot should be considered before you start watching it. The entire season is about Ken Takakura and Momo Ayase searching for his manly parts which continually get stolen. Due to this there is some fan service throughout the season. There is a hot springs scene, as well as a scene where both Momo and Aira are seen in their underwear and Okarun is found shirtless. Overall, I still think that the anime is worth watching. It's probably the best Supernatural anime I have seen so far.

Good Bye, Dragon Life

In his previous life Dolan was a dragon who protected humanity. However, he didn't find any joy in life. After dying he asked his friend to reincarnate him as a human. Now he lives in Verun Village spending his days farming and learning magic. One day while Dolan is walking through the forest he meets a Lamia named Celina. She tells Dolan that it is customary for Lamia's to go on a journey and search for a husband once they reach a certain age. As he talked with her more he wanted to bring her to Verun Village, but unfortunately Lamia's are seen as man-eating monsters by the vast majority of people. So after days of offering the village food, they accept her into the village.

Good Bye, Dragon Life was a pretty good anime. While it does present itself as a slice of life anime, it does have quite a bit of action as well. I wouldn't say this is the best anime I have ever seen, but its definitely a relaxing one. There is a bath scene, but besides that the anime doesn't really have any fan service. The language is kept clean as well. I would suggest giving it a try if it sounds interesting to you.

Seton Academy: Join the Pack! Special

When Yena is about to go to the boys outdoor hotspring he is invited by Hitomi to join her at the girls hot springs. Thinking it would just be the two of them he agrees. However, it turns out that everybody but Jin decided to show up. In an attempt to avoid everybody, Yena keeps a considerable distance from them. That is until Team Ex shows up as well. Seeing them get overly close with Hitomi strikes a nerve and a fight breaks out between Anne and Yena.

Seton Academy: Join the Pack! Special was nothing special really. It played out like most Hot Spring scenes you see in anime. It was fun to see the characters again after not watching the series for so long. It goes without saying that the entire episode is ecchi since it takes place in a Hot Spring. The episode isn't really important to the story so if you decide not to watch it, you won't be missing out on any important information.

A Herbivorous Dragon of 5,000 Years Gets Unfairly Villainized Season 2

Reiko and Revandia continue their journey, and end up at the boarder of the country of Asga. After being forbidden passage from entering the tunnel which leads into Asga, Reiko suggests they fly over the mountains so they don't have to pay the entrance fee. However, Revandia says that if possible he would like to walk. So, using her powers, Reiko shoots a beam of light which flattens one of the mountains blocking the city. Thanks to that, they are brought to the king who suspects them of being enemies to the people. Luckily, Reiko and Revandia are able to prove that they have no intention of harming anyone. Slowly the people of Asga start to accept Reiko and Revandia. Little do they know that worshippers of the evil dragon have gathered in the city and are committing crimes. Will Reiko and Revandia be able to stop them?

A Herbivorous Dragon of 5,000 Years Gets Unfairly Villainized Season 2 was actually really good. While they didn't travel as much as season 1, I actually really enjoyed the adventures they had staying in the same place. Probably my favorite part of the season is Reiko's relationship with The Evil Dragon Worshippers. There is no fan service and no swearing in the anime. If you haven't given this anime a watch I would definitely suggest it. Though it was originally made in Chinese, you can watch both seasons in japanese with English subtitles on Crunchyroll.

Itsudatte My Santa!

Santa has been alone on Christmas for as long as he can remember. Unlike other kids who stop believing in Santa for one reason or another he never had a chance to believe in the first place. While he is sitting alone under a huge Christmas tree a girl approaches him and asks him why he looks so sad despite it being Christmas Eve. Santa then says that its none of her business. It is then that she tells him that she is Santa Clause and she is going to spend the entire night making him happy.

Itsudatte My Santa! is a fun and festive OVA. Even though its only two episodes I think it was cool to see an anime that is purely about Christmas. While Santa Company was a fun watch, Itsudatte My Santa! is a romance which is presented incredibly well for the short amount of time it was given. It doesn't feel rushed and you still grow to like the characters. There are a few parts with fan service such as a beach scene, a shower scene, a hot springs scene, a bath scene, and two magical girl like moments where Mai, Maimai, and Sharry transform into their Santa outfits. If you don't mind a little fan service I would suggest giving it a watch.

NAKAIMO - My Little Sister Is Among Them!

Shougo Mikadono is the son of Kumagoro Mikadono the CEO of The Mikadono Group. Now that his father has passed away Shougo is set to inherit his fathers company. However, before he can do that he is asked to enroll at Miryuin Academy where he needs to find his lifelong companion. His mother believes that getting married will help make him the man The Mikadono Group needs. There is a slight problem, and that is that there is a rumor that Shougo has a little sister and she is attending Miryuin Academy as well. Will Shougo find the woman of his dreams without ending up in a forbidden relationship?

Nakaimo - My Little Sister Is Among Them! had a pretty cool concept. Not only does he not know who his little sister is, but multiple girls are claiming to be his sister. He eventually becomes known as onii-chan senpai among the first year girls. So it kind of has a mystery element to it which makes it stand out apart from other high school harem anime. Also the fact that he is trying to choose one of the girls to marry and isn't oblivious to their advances also differentiates itself from most harem anime's. There is some fan service throughout the series. There are multiple bath and shower scenes, as well as scenes where you see girls in their underwear. There are also multiple pool scenes where you see girls in swimsuits. Overall, if you enjoy the romance and harem genre I would give it a try.

The Most Notorious "Talker" Runs the World's Greatest Clan

Noel Stollen is the grandson of the world's strongest warrior, Overdeath. At a young age Noel made a goel to become the strongest seeker there is. However, he unlike his grandpa, Noel was given the class of talker which is widely considered to be the weakest class there is. Years after strict training by Overdeath, Noel starts his own party called blue beyond. Though Noel's companions don't take him seriously, and even Gamble away all the money that the party earned. With so many people against him, will Noel be able to reach the top?

The Most Notorious "Talker" Runs the World's Greatest Clan is a lot darker than most fantasy anime. There is more betrayal in this anime than in any other I have seen. On the bright side there is hardly any fan service. There is just a small scene at the beginning of episode four where you see Alma wearing only a towel while she is in bed with noel. I would definitely suggest giving it a try. Noel is unlike most main characters. The closest I can compare him to is Hajime Nagumo from Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest and shadow from The Eminence in Shadow. He has the condescending attitude of Hajime and the joy of crushing his enemies that shadow has.

2.5 Dimensional Seduction

Masamune Okumura is the president and only member of his high school manga club. He mainly spent his days watching anime and reading manga of his favorite character Liliel. One day a new freshman walks into the manga club and asks to be a member. Okumura assumes that she's the type that is only interested in shoujo manga and wants to show her that that's not the type of club the manga club is. However, the more he talks with her, the more he finds out that their interests align perfectly. After accepting her into the club, Ririsa lets him now that she has always wanted to cosplay and even has a costume that she wants to show him. When she finishes changing it feels like Ririsa had brought Liliel into the real world. After seeing her cosplay, Okumura becomes her photographer and they sign up for their first event.

2.5 Dimensional Seduction was a pretty good anime. I haven't really seen any other anime's where cosplay is featured. So an anime completely about cosplay was a new concept to me. It won't be the best anime you'll ever see, but I definitely enjoyed watching it. Something cool about this anime is you get to see both Ririsa Amano and Masamune Okumura grow as people. A lot of anime characters don't change, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. However, seeing them grow made me want to cheer them on even if neither one realizes that they have romantic feelings for each other. There are a lot of scenes of the girls undressing and changing into costume, but nothing dirty really happens in the anime. Overall, if you like the slice of life genre I think that 2.5 Dimensional Seduction is worth watching.

Loner Life in Another World

Haruka has always felt alone. He is observant that his current class is split into groups such as jocks, nerds, gyaru's, and the class rep's group. Just as he was reading a manga he sees people being transported away and unwilling to let go he climbs up through the vents but still gets transported away. Once he has been transported an old man tells him to pick a skill from a list. However, all thats left are the skills that nobody wanted. After complaining about how none of them are any good, the old man gives up and tells him to take all of the remaining skills. He is then transported to the woods where he uses his skills to make a house in a cave. He then tests out his skills on goblins that are lurking nearby. Life in the forest seemed peaceful. However, all that goes out the window when girls from his class come to him asking for help. Will Haruka get to have his peaceful life as a loner?

Loner Life in Another World was pretty good. Though I thought the way the girls refused to let him leave there side after he helped them was weird. I think it would have been cool to see how his life would have been had he stayed in the forest. Though one good thing came out of it. He meets a girl named Angelica while he is away from his home in the woods. I just wish I could see more of their adventures together. The fan service isn't too bad. Though there are a few bath scenes. Overall if you are looking for a new isekai to watch, I would give it a try to see if you like it. However, it isn't particularly unique from other isekai's that have been made.

Acro Trip

Chizuko Date has always seemed to be more grown up than other kids her age. Due to her mom's job she is used to traveling around. When she is sent to her grandpa's place while her mom is on a business trip she sees it as just another week with nothing out of the ordinary. However, what she did not expect to find was a magical girl fighting an evil mastermind. With something to finally entertain her she asks if she could live with her grandpa. Happy to finally hear excitement in Chizuko's voice, her mom agrees. However, while it is cool to see a magical girl in real life, the evil mastermind she is fighting lacks any tactics making the fights boring to watch. When asked what could be done better, Chizuko gives her assessment. It is then that she realizes it is the evil mastermind Chrome talking to her. After hearing her advice Chrome makes it his goal to have Chizuko join the evil organization Fossa Magna as his General.

Acro Trip was a pretty fun anime to watch. It kind of felt like Gushing Over Magical Girls in the sense that the main character is a huge fan of the local magical girl. She also joins the opposing side to get close to the magical girl. Besides those two points both anime's are completely different. Acro trip has basically no fan service. There is a hot springs scene during the last episode. However, the scene is short. If you are looking for a fun and relaxing anime to watch I would definitely suggest giving Acro Trip a try.

Rosario + Vampire Season 2

Another year starts at Yokai Academy and this time one of the new students has a fixation on moka. She gets letters making it appear that the sender wants her dead. However, the sender turns out to be Moka's little sister Kokoa. But Kokoa doesn't want the kind and gentle Moka. She wants the Moka that comes out when her rosary is taken off. She'll do anything to bring her back. Will Tsukune and his friends be able to survive Kokoa's schemes?

Just like season one, Rosario + Vampire Season 2 was thoroughly entertaining. I think my favorite episode is curry and vampire where all the water in the school is replaced with curry and the students are filled with an insatiable hunger for it. There were two hot springs scenes, a bath scene, and countless panty shots. If you don't like fan service I would skip this. However, Rosario + Vampire feels unique compared to other anime. While the characters don't get anywhere romantically, the unique setting of a monster school keeps it intriguing. If you don't mind some fan service I would definitely give this a shot.

Rosario + Vampire

Tsukune Aono was the only who failed his high school entrance exam among his friends. He believed that he would have to wait another year to take them again...that is until his dad tells him that he could go to high school at a place called Yokai Academy. On his first day he is dropped off in the middle of the woods by the bus driver. Right as he convinces himself that he won't be able to find the school he is hit in the back with a bike by Moka Akashiya. She apologizes and asks if he would like to be friends. She then tells him that she is a vampire. He says that its cool with him if she believes that about herself. Once Tsukune does get to class he learns that he is the only human in a school full of monsters. Not only that, but the school has a strict rule that no humans are allowed to be at the school. Will he be able to survive?

Rosario + Vampire was super fun to watch. It felt similar to watching Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun. The show follows a pattern of showing Moka and Tsukune's school life and ending it with a fight scene. However, I really enjoyed seeing the different kinds of monsters that show up in each fight scene. While it is an ecchi anime the worst you see is a few panty shots each episode. There is a pool episode and a beach episode, so you do see the girls in bikinis twice. Besides that it's a pretty clean show. If a little fan service doesn't bother you, I would suggest giving it a try.

The Duke of Death and His Maid

Imagine never being able to touch the ones you love. This is the curse that was cast upon Duke by a Witch. Everything he touches instantly dies, this includes humans, animals, and plants. Cast aside by his family and friends, Duke lives in a mansion in the middle of the woods with only his maid Alice and his butler Rob for company. Despite all this, Duke is able to remain happy. Something is curious about his maid though. Rather than keeping her distance like everybody else she is constantly getting closer to him and isn't worried about his curse. While her presence and closeness are appreciated Duke is also constantly worried about what might happen if he accidentally touches her. Will they be able to break the curse?

The Duke of Death was enjoyable, but it was definitely a slow watch. When I say that I mean that this is one of those shows that even if you take a break from watching it, you don't have to go back to remember what happened. Every episode feels unique. I also really like the premise. I am really hoping that Alice and Duke are able to get together.  There some fan service throughout this season. Alice seems to constantly show off her cleavage as a way to tease the duke. You also see her undressed in her room, but the majority of her body is covered by her bedsheets. If you are looking for a cute romance, this one might be worth a try.

Tsugumomo Season 2

Now that Kiriha is a student at Kazuya Kagami's school they decide to make a troubleshooters club with the help of the student council president and Kazuya's friends. This way people will come to them with their problems and if anything supernatural happens they will know about it before things get chaotic. However, not all Amasogi are naturally occuring. An organization has their eye on the town of Kamioka, more specifically Kukuri. Word has spread about her rapid decrease in power as a goddess, making the enemy view her as an easy to kill target. Will she survive?

Tsugumomo Season 2 was a pretty interesting season. I really enjoyed the pace of the season, and the different creative environments created by the Amasogi. It reminded me a little of In/Spectre. I honestly wouldn't have minded if they had created another season or two. However, after reading comments on what happens in the manga it's clear why nothing has been announced. There isn't as much fan service as there was in season 1 and what fan service there is is censored very well. There are a multitude of bath scenes as well as hot springs scenes. You also see the characters undressed in the bedroom like in season 1. If you are someone who dislikes the ecchi genre you can feel free to skip this one. In/spectre might be a good one to try if the story sounds interesting though.

Tsugumomo

While Kazuya Kagami doesn't remember much about his mother, he has always carried her Obi around with him because of how it calmed him. One day, after getting lectured for falling asleep in class by the Class Rep and his childhood friend Chisato Chikaishi, Kazuya heads to the roof of the school to get away. It is there that he sees what looks like a wig lying on the ground. While he walks away planning to ignore it, it comes alive and attacks him. He then hears a voice letting him know that it is an Amasogi. A supernatural creature that possesses an object when someone has a strong wish. Before Kazuya can react he is pushed off the roof by the Amasogi. Right before he is about to die he is saved from his fall. Then as cloth starts to flow around in an orb shape a girl appears. She smiles and says its been awhile. Unfortunately Kazuya has no memory of this girl. After she helps to fight off the Amasogi, he learns that this girl Kiriha is a Tsukumogami or object that has obtained sentience. Kiriha happens to be the Obi that Kazuya always carried around with him. Not long after both of them are summoned to the local shrine where they are met by a woman wearing a mask claiming to be the area's local goddess. She tells Kazuya that he attracts Amasogi and to deal with this she wants him to work with Kiriha to deal with them and make the city safer. While Kiriha is against it at first, they eventually agree after having a fight with Kukuri who uses her powers as a Water Goddess to attack them.

Tsugumomo was an interesting anime. It was similar to Omamori Himari except instead of a cat like Himari, Kiriha is an Obi. If you are someone who tries to avoid the Ecchi genre then this is not for you. There is a bath scene in each episode, as well as multiple times where Kiriha sleeps in bed with Kazuya. This is good for people who don't like overpowered main characters though. In Tsugumomo you get to see Kazuya go from knowing nothing about fighting to holding himself against someone who has trained to fight Amasogi since childhood. If you think that this sounds interesting you can feel free to give it a try. I would suggest watching it in English Dub because the subtitles don't appear when the character speaks them. It only appears after they have talked so its hard to focus and understand what's going on. Another downside is that there is a lot of text that doesn't get translated. I had to take pictures of the text and put it into google translate to understand whats going on.

Senpai is an Otokonoko

Saki Aoi is in her first year of high school, and out of all the people above her there is one girl she truly admires. So she confesses to Makoto Hanaoka, but she is turned down. When Saki ask's why Makoto reveals that he's actually a boy that enjoys cross dressing. Rather than being sad Saki gets even more excited that she can enjoy both the boy version and the girl version of Makoto. While she was turned down she is determined to not let that stop her and win her senpai's heart. Thinking that she isn't serious and just trying to make fun of him Makoto's best friend Ryuuji approaches Saki and tells her about all the bullying that Makoto has had to endure because of who he is. When Ryuuji finds out that Saki doesn't have any bad intentions, the three of them start to hang out. Saki gives Makoto opportunities to do things that he never could have done on his own. There is just one problem, Makoto has to hide who he really is from his mother because she won't accept him unless he acts like a boy.

Senpai is an Otokonoko felt more serious than I was expecting. Usually when a guy is turned into a girl or cross dresses in anime it is brushed over and they are simply accepted for who they are. Examples of this are Himegoto, Onimai, komi can't communicate, etc. There are examples of people who won't like the character unless they are dressed as a girl such as date a live, and Kampfer. However, those felt different because the gender swap isn't a huge part of the plot. Something I noticed is that Senpai is an Otokonoko features multiple different types of relationships such as being gay, bi, and asexual. I was really hoping that Saki and Makoto would get together because Saki accepts Makoto right away, and her personality and attitude would make for a fun romantic comedy. A lot of romance anime's end without the main couple getting together, but I feel like since the first scene is a confession scene they could have become a couple at any point. But, they totally avoid it. So the anime was kind of a disappointment.  Also I thought I could hand BL after watching Kiss Him, Not Me but I know now that that is a genre of anime I'm not going to touch. Everybody dresses modestly and the language remains clean. If this sounds like something you would enjoy you can give it a try.

TenPuru: No Way, Why Is It So Big… / You Mustn’t Touch That

Yuzuki wakes up to find that she and Akemitsu have switched bodies. Not only that but everyone else has as well. Thinking that Akemitsu is still in his own body Kurage gets on top of him. However, it is actually Kagura that possesses Kurage's body and she hopes Akemitsu getting caught with an underage girl will get him kicked out of the temple. Kagura soon finds out that its actually Yuzuki she is assaulting. Next Kurage finds that she has been switched with Mia. Now that she has an adult body, she takes this opportunity to strip down to her underwear and film herself doing different poses. After the other girls walk in on her they find that kiki has traded bodies with Nyagosuke, the temples cat. Even after everyone all gathered together they still cant find Yuzuki's body. Will Everything work out?

Tenpuru Special episodes were pretty interesting. I was hoping that it would show us how Akemitsu ends up with, but of course thats not the case. However, I always appreciate a gender bender anime. If you are one of the people who doesn't like fan service, I would skip this one. It is partially censored using cats to cover up the inappropriate parts. Though fan service and specials kind of go hand in hand. That's how it is with most anime's. While I didn't get what I wanted, which was a clear conclusion to the series, it was still interesting to watch.

My Tiny Senpai

Takuma Shinozaki has his first full time job working at sunpick. He has a unique work environment, but the thing that stands out the most is his senpai Shiori Katase. She's small, cute, and resembles a cat in more ways than one. Despite working at the company for a few years its also her first time having someone work under her. Both Takuma and Shiori always try and look out for one another which causes them to get into romantic situations. However, neither one really knows how they feel about each other. Are they just regular co-workers or could there be something more?

My Tiny Senpai was a good anime. I don't watch a ton of adult romance anime but I thought it was better than The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague. It didn't end how I would have liked it to, but the story and the characters kept me engaged. There are a few scenes with fan service such as the hot springs episode. The language is clean as well. Overall, it's a cute and wholesome anime. If you are looking for a romance anime that doesn't take place in high school, you might enjoy this one.

Henkei Shoujo

A girl with silver hair loses her hat and watches as it blows away into the sky. Seeing that she needs help a girl named Haru says that she will get it back to her. Haru then transforms into a plane and flies into the sky to go retrieve the hat. Next  a girl named Rin goes to the gas station and starts drinking from the gas machine. While the other customers look on in confusion Rin finishes and then transforms into a car and drives off.

I have mixed feelings about Henkei Shoujo. While I enjoyed it, it was over in about five minutes. I don't think the length of time per episode is a problem, but I do wish there were more episodes. There are some panty shots, but besides that it isn't really Ecchi. there isn't any swearing in it either. I think it is worth watching if you have five minutes of free time.

Omamori Himari

Yuuto Amakawa has lived a fairly normal life. However, when an ayakashi with a sword shows up on his birthday as he is walking to school everything changes. He goes to school wondering who she was. Once lunch time hits Yuuto heads up to the roof with his friend Rinko Kuzaki. It is then that his friend Taizou appears possesd by what appears to be a giant grasshopper. As the grasshopper goes to attack Yuuto and Rinko the Ayakashi with a sword reappears and takes down the monster while preserving Taizou's life. She then tells Yuuto that she is an Ayakashi who has sworn loyalty to his family after one of them spared her life in the past. Yuuto then learns that he comes from a long line of ayakashi slayers and has the abilities to become one as well. However, due to a protective charm that was given to him by his grandparents Yuuto's memories of his childhood have been forgotten. Now that the charm is breaking it can no longer ward of ayakashi. So Himari promises to stay at his side and be the blade that protects him from harm.

Omamori Himari was better than I was expecting. Though for some reason I always enjoy a story that involves Ayakashi like In/spectre and Ayakashi Triangle. The last few episodes kind of reminded me of Tayutama: Kiss On My Deity. It has a similar feel and setup. Though in my opinion Omamori Himari is better. It does have fan service, such as bath scenes, shower scenes, a beach episode, and numerous occurrences of girls lifting up their skirts and shirts for various reasons. There are also a few scenes where the girls clothes become see through after getting wet. Some might say that this feels like a replica of other action/harem anime's, but it is better than ones like Kampfer, infinite stratos, etc. I also feel like it doesn't try to be a romance anime. Also Yuuto isn't completely dense to everyone's feelings. He just prefers a life thats perfectly normal where he can live in harmony with both humans and ayakashi. Most of the people around him are able to accept that, which I really like. If you are fine with fan service and don't mind the harem genre I think Omamori Himari is worth giving a try.

DearS

a year ago an alien spaceship crash landed on earth. This ship was full of aliens which the humans named DearS and accepted into their society. Takeya Ikuhara has been afraid of aliens since childhood and wants absolutely nothing to do with the DearS. However, after coming across one which he brings home because she had nowhere else to go, Takeya starts to acknowledge their existence. After hearing the DearS give an incredibly long name, Takeya names her Ren, which she accepts. However, despite the news saying that DearS are well educated to fit into society, Ren seems to be clueless about everything. Will Takeya be able to handle his new life with Ren?

DearS is an interesting anime. It resembles a lot of other anime that I have seen. Ren's emotionless attitude and desire to consistently call Takeya Master reminds me of Ikaros from Heaven's Lost Property. The way she looks up things with her mind reminds me of Mina from My Wife has No Emotion. The way Takeya always treats her with disrespect and gets angry all the time reminds me of the relationship between Tomonori and Rizel from Rizelmine. The way that the DearS are assigned to certain people and the way they act toward each other kind of reminds me of Akikan. I do realize that all of these have something in common. All these anime's contain abnormal relationships. A human and an alien, a human and a robot, a human and a soda can, a human and a girl who's age has been halted so she's always 12, and a human and an Angeloid. Not to mention that all of them except for My Wife Has No Emotion were made before 2010. Anyway DearS is not the best out of all I listed. If you want a cute romance watch My Wife Has No Emotion. If you want a comedy Heaven's Lost Property is a better choice than DearS. DearS has a lot of fan service. There are multiple bath scenes. In every episode Takeya and Ren's teacher wears highly revealing outfits and has the students read erotic books for their literature class. Also Takeya's attitude ticks me off. I prefer anime's where people are nice to each other. Overall, I guess you can give it a try, but I think there are always better anime.

DearS: Is It A Golden Ball?

After being things at the market Miu gets her first raffle ticket. After spinning the wheel faster than anybody else and breaking the base of the machine she gets the first place prize. After getting a ticket to a nearby hot spring resort for up to four people Miu thinks first of her host family. Unfortunately they are going to be away the day of the trip, so Miu invites Takeya, Ren, and Nanako to go with her. Once they arrive they learn that the resort is much bigger than they expected. However, trouble arises when Nia follows them to capture Ren and their teacher Mitsuka Yoshimine puts her lack of morals on full display by intentionally using the mens bath instead of the women's. Will this truly be a relaxing break for Takeya?

DearS: Is It A Golden Ball? actually made me laugh. Rens innocence about the way things are in society make for some pretty funny situations. However, this episode is far more ecchi than your average hot springs episode. Mysterious mist can only do so much. So if you are the type to avoid anything ecchi I would suggest skipping over this one.

Plus-Sized Elf Specials

Akiho takes Naoe and his otherworldly clients to a beach trip on a deserted island. Though what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway turns into a chaotic nightmare when a Kraken shows up. It starts with a few pranks like burying the girls up to their necks in the sand and flipping over the floating boards the elfs were using. After multiple failed attempts to get the group off the island it confronts them directly. While it is a challenge for the giants Oga & Hitome, it leaves after Gonda uses her dragon breath on it.

Plus-Sized Elf Specials were better than I was expecting. I think since the main series consists mostly of exercise sequences that is kind of what I thought would happen. However, there was absolutely no exercise in it. That made it probably better than the story of the main series. There is still fan service, but that is kind of expected for a beach episode. If you enjoyed the characters from the regular series I would definitely suggest giving the specials a try.

Cooking with Valkyries

Mei, Bronya, Kiana, Himeko, Theresa, and Hua all take turns cooking different meals for each other. While not everybody's tastes match one another, everybody can agree that cooking has a special place in their hearts. Kiana is reminded of days she spent with her father and replicates a dish they made together when she was younger. Theresa after hearing that Kiana missed class learns to make a dish suited to her taste to make her feel better. While cooking has a personal meaning it can also be a way to draw closer to others. Watch as the different characters create unique dishes as a sign of their friendship

Cooking with Valkyries was a pretty interesting show. What I thought was cool about this is not only does it show the characters making dishes, but it also provides you with the recipe for the dish they made. While I probably aren't many things I would make on here there are a few things i would like to try. the fruit punch, watermelon pizza, and pizza toast all looked simple to make and looked like it would taste good. Both the language and the visuals are clean in this short series. If you like cooking animes I would give this one a try.

TenPuru -No One Can Live on Loneliness-

Akemitsu Akagame was once told that its not good to live alone. However, rather than being devoted to one woman he decided to build his own harem and get with as many women as possible. Disgusted with this way of life Akamitsu decides that he will spend his life single. After seeing a girl and falling in love at first sight Akamitsu's morals drop and he starts going to party's where he can be with girls. He also stops doing his homework and is about to fail. with a new determination to fix his ways Akemitsu decides that his best choice is to become a monk and live away from women. However, after being directed to a temple the first person he meets there is the girl he fell in love with. Overcome with emotion he asks her to marry him. Taking a step back he apologizes and asks to live at the temple. little did he know that the temple had been turned into a nunnery and was full of beautiful girls. Will Akemitsu get the life that he strives for?

Tenpuru was better than I was expecting. If there is one thing I wish was different, it would be that Yuzuki and Akemitsu's relationship had gone further. While they do some romantic things together I would have liked to see them become an actual couple. There is a lot of fan service throughout the anime,  with things like a bath scene, a hot spring scene, and multiple occasions where the girls clothes get loose and happen to slip partially off. But the setting is unique compared to most harem anime's which I really enjoyed. If you are a fan of harem anime's I would give this one a try. However, if fan service bothers you, you won't be missing out if you skip it either.

OVERLORD: The Sacred Kingdom

After The Demon Emperor Jaldobaoth attacks the sacred kingdom, the soldiers learn that the only one that has stood up to him is the adamantite adventurer Momon of darkness. In hopes of aquiring his services the sacred kingdom's paladins walk into the sorcerer kingdom Ains Ooal Gown. When they meet with Ains Ooal Gown he tells them that Momon's presence is needed to keep the people calm, but he will go instead. While they are happy to have his help with the war, there are those in the city who would prefer him to die due to him being a monster. To keep an eye on him, the head paladin assigns her squire Neia Baraja to be his attendant. However, Neia Baraja quickly becomes Ains's biggest supporter, having total confidence in him and his words. Word quickly spreads of Ains Ooal Gown's powers and nature. The citizens even start calling him a hero despite him being an undead. Will everything work out for the Sacred Kingdom or will it fall into ruin like the Re-Estize Kingdom?

I really liked the movie. Though I think that my favorite part was when Neia teams up with Delta and starts calling her senpai. I also really liked this because only a few of the Pleiades are focused on during the series, and delta doesn't get all that much screen time. the language is clean as well as the visuals. If you liked the main series I would give the movie a try.

Ranma1/2 (2024)

The Tendo family who owns the Tendo Dojo consists of the Dad Soun Tendo and his three daughters Kasumi Tendo, Nabiki Tendo, and Akane Tendo....
