Laust is a Healer who can only perform one spell. Because of this he got the name Laust the ignoramus. While he has been in adventuring parties in the past each one took advantage of him, whether it be to use him as a sacrifice, rob him, or break down his confidence each one took a toll. One day a blue haired girl named Narsena shows up and asks to be in the same party as him. Others tried to warn her, but she claimed that if she was going to be an adventurer, it had to be with Laust. So after signing up as an official party Laust takes Narsena to the highest floor of the dungeon where the weakest monsters are supposed to be. However, among the goblins they find a higher level monster that isn't supposed to show up until the middle floors. While they were able to take care of it, this mystery would be the first sign that the city of Mardat, where they lived, would be thrust into unprecedented danger.
The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party, Is, in Fact, the Strongest was an interesting anime. While the whole banished from the party trope has been done before with anime's like Beast Tamer, The Banished Former Hero Lives as he Pleases, and Banished From the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life Out in the Country, this one felt pretty unique. I really like the characters in this one. I think my favorite thing about it is the relationship between Narsena and Laust. Despite being used Laust has a kind and calm attitude while Narsena has a happy and inviting attitude. It just made me want to see them succeed. There is no fan service in this anime. The language is kept clean as well. If you like fantasy anime where the main characters are adventurers, I would give this one a try.
