One day while Hibiki Manabe was at school, he walks into a room and runs into a bright flash of light. Suddenly he finds himself in another world. In this world he is given skills by the chief god, god of magic, and medicine god. Because his job is appraiser, he doesn't start out with any offensive skills, making him weaker than most. However, the gods do everything in their power to make sure he is able to live. He soon meets an elf named Emalia who acts as his guide. But, how long will Hibiki be able to rely on others to survive without improving himself?
The strongest job is apparently not a hero or a sage, but an appraiser (provisional) was okay. I typically like most isekai anime, but this one had one of my pet peeves. All the main character talks about is going home. It felt similar to other isekai anime like Arifureta, Chillin in Another World with My Level 2 Super Cheat Powers, The Rising of the Shield Hero, and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. Arifureta, Chillin in Another World with My Level 2 Super Cheat Powers, and The Rising of the Shield Hero all contain characters that want to go home. However, Arifureta makes up for it with its action and comedy, and Chillin in Another World makes up for it with its romance. Hibiki also has a voice guidance system like Rimuru and Flio but seems to remain clueless despite the constant advice he's given. The title is a bit misleading. I thought "provisional" in the title meant that they weren't sure they would keep the title as it was. However, Hibiki's job is called "Appraiser (Provisional)"; it is also misleading in that he is not actually stronger than the hero or the sage. Both outclass him throughout all 12 episodes. There are also quite a few bath and Hot Springs scenes, as well as multiple scenes where Emalia's buttons fall off due to her chest size. While I didn't enjoy this one, it could be great if you enjoy generic isekai anime.
