After the attack on the prince and princess, the vice-captain of the knights, Henblitz Drought, asks Beryl how to fight multiple opponents. As Beryl explains, Lucy pops in and starts blasting magic at him to see if he can avoid it. After he evades all of her attacks, she pulls aside the captain, Allucia Citrus.
When Beryl gets home and is talking with Mewi, Lucy and Ficelle arrive and ask if he would be interested in teaching at the magic academy. When Beryl says that he doesn't know anything about magic, Lucy explains that Ficelle is teaching a course on Sword Magic and that they want him to help the students learn how to wield a sword properly. After talking it over with the knights, Beryl attends the Sword Magic class and is able to gain the students' trust after having a mock battle with Ficelle.
From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman Season 2 was really good. There were some amazing events that happened throughout the season. A trope I really enjoy is when characters in fantasy worlds become teachers, so seeing Beryl Gardenant go to the magic academy to teach the students was definitely a highlight for me.
Another aspect I enjoyed was when Beryl goes back home and has a sword fight with his father, whom he sees as the ultimate swordsman. There aren't any lewd scenes, but there is some swearing throughout the season. If you enjoyed the first season, I would definitely suggest giving the second season a try as well.
