More misadventures arise when Celine lets her pollen fly and Mikan gets caught up in it. She pretends to be unaffected by its power allowing Rito to relax instead of panic. However, the more time he spends with her, the harder she finds it to hold back a declaration of love. Meanwhile, Haruna is turned into a cat by one of Lala's inventions. She attempts to communicate with Yui but realizes that she can't talk because she's a cat. So she goes to Rito's house in an attempt to find Nana who has the ability to talk to animals. Unfortunately, she runs into Rito first. While he does take good care of her, she is unable to reveal her identity until it is too late.
To Love-Ru Darkness OVA's felt kind of like deleted scenes from To Love Ru Darkness (Season 3). It was pretty fun to watch. The majority of the scenes were unsurprising because they were in line with the pattern of the rest of the series. However, there's an episode where Rune asks Rito to take pictures of her in preparation for her next photo shoot. But the camera she gives him takes over his mind. Each episode has fan service, which is unsurprising since that's how it's been since episode 1. There are bath scenes, shower scenes, a brief pool scene, and much more. The OVA's don't add more story to the plotline of the main series. So you can skip them if you so desire.
