Zenos was the healer for a party of adventurers. However, his party failed to see how much he was helping them, and kicked him out with only a gold coin to spend. After that he returns to the slums where he grew up. The rule of the kingdom states that no one from the slums can ever become an official healer. So after saving an elf girl, she tells him that she should start a clinic in the slums. With that advice Zenos decides to become an underground healer, who will save anyone, as long as they pay.
The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows was actually pretty good. It had a banished from the Hero's Party feel at first, but Zenos does more than just heal people. He protects them as well. The anime is mostly clean excpept for a hot springs scene. The Language remains clean as well. If you enjoy fantasy anime. I would definitely suggest giving it a try.
