Ciel wakes up and sees his butler grow bunny ears and a tail. He follows him through a maze of doors and ends up in Wonderland. There he meets different characters who refer to him as Alice. They try and help him experience the wonders of Wonderland. However, Ciel is only interested in finding the White Rabbit. When they ask him why he simply replies that the white rabbit is his butler. Will Ciel be able to avoid the chaos Wonderland holds by being himself, or will his strong will actually make things worse for him?
I'm not going to lie, the OVA's for Black Butler Season 2 were wild. It was crazy how much the two stories have in common. The Black Butler character personalities matched their wonderland counterparts perfectly. Ran-Mao being a mushroom instead of a human didn't seem too far-fetched for me. Lao being the smoking caterpillar also matched his character. It was masterful and unnerving at the same time. There were some inappropriate scenes and jokes though. I should have expected as much from an OVA. I was disappointed though, because Black Butler is a clean anime. If you like black butler I would give it a try because of how wild it is. But they don't have to do with the main story, so you can also feel free to skip them as well.
