The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2

After all the help that Naofumi had provided for the kingdom, the queen decides to make him the lord over the town that Raphtalia grew up in before she was kidnapped. News spread quickly and the friends and acquaintances he had made on his journey wanted to help him. he uses the town to train people so they can get stronger. Though Rishia had joined him after being thrown out of the bow hero's party she still wasn't getting stronger. Raphtalia suggests that Rishia should become Naofumi's slave so they can share experience points. Shortly after the shield hero and his party are summoned to the castle, where they are notified that a monster called the Spirit Tortoise had awakened. Not only that, but it had already wiped out entire cities of people and was headed their way. Will Naofumi be able to stop it?

The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 was way better than season 1. The number one thing that made it awesome was that the other heroes were given basically no screen time, so there were no annoying characters. It also wasn't incredibly long like season 1 was. There were a few moments that kind of reminded me of Code Geass. After watching season 1 I thought The Rising of the Shield Hero was a show that made you suffer alongside the main character, but I'm glad Season 2 was different. Season 2 stays clean visually, but there is some swearing here and there. Overall, I liked it and would suggest it if you can manage to survive the torture chamber that Season 1 is.

Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 2

After defeating the white whale and saving Emilia and the kids from an explosion, Subaru confesses his love for Emilia. However, feeling guilty he tells her that Rem had also given him a confession as well. That is when Emilia asks if Rem is someone she is supposed to know.  Confused because Rem had not been hit by the White whale's fog, he tries to find out what happened. With the help of Puck, Subaru learns that Rem's name and memories have been eaten by a disciple of the witch of Gluttony. This had the same effect as the white whales fog. Everybody except Subaru has totally forgotten who she is despite the fact that she is still alive. Will Subaru be able to find a way to fix it this time?

Re:Zero Season 2 was pretty interesting. I thought that Subaru had stopped being annoying but he goes back to being that way around the end of the season. Everybody dresses modestly and the language remains clean as well. If you liked Season 1 you can feel free to give this one a try as well.

The Irregular at Magic High School Season 3

After stopping the plot of the new breed front to take over the tower, a new semester starts at First High. It is there that Tatsuya is reunited with Mayumi Saegusa who is chaperoning her younger sisters Izumi and Kasumi. Due to a misunderstanding Kasumi mistakes Tatsuya for a womanizer. After apologizing they Meet Miyuki and are offered to become part of the student council. While Izumi is all for it, Kasumi still has reservations about doing anything that involves Tatsuya. Will everyone be able to get along, or will the hate that Mayumi worked hard to get rid of come back this year?

I'm going to be honest, The Irregular at Magic High School Season 3 felt like a cheap version of season 1. The arcs in it have a lot of similarity to season 1 such as the entrance ceremony arc, the nine schools competition, as well as the thesis competition. However, because it is only 13 episodes you don't get to fully enjoy those events like you did in season 1. The nine schools competition in particular felt like it was super glossed over. I honestly wished that there was more. One thing that this season did better is the visuals remained clean. The only exception was when Tatsuya accidentally runs into Mayumi at the store and sees her in a swimsuit. Despite what I said about wishing it was longer, I still believe that it was a good season. If you enjoyed the previous seasons, try and give this one a watch as well.

The Misfit of Demon King Academy: History's Strongest Demon King Reincarnates and Goes to School with His Descendants Season 2 Part 2

After rewriting the rumors and traditions that made up Avos Dilhevia, Anos takes his rightful place as the Demon King of Tyranny. After hearing from Misha that he will be missed at the Academy, Anos disguises himself as Anosh Polticoal the same disguise he used when visiting the land of the spirits. Many changes are brought about for the students such as Shin Reglia becoming a swordsmanship teacher as well as Enyunion teaching the students. While he is in his castle he is visited by his former teacher Emilia who went into hiding after being stripped of her royal status. Anos says he'll give her a chance to reclaim what she lost, but in order to do that she has to go to the Heroes Academy and teach there. Will she be able to do it?

The Misfit at Demon King Academy Season 2 Part 2 was really interesting. It goes a lot into Anos's past. I know Anos when he became the Demon king told everyone that if they needed something they could come to him. So when a girl tells him that she wants Anos to be her older brother and Anos agrees, its simultaneously cute and surprising. I was surprised because Anos is who I consider to be the most overpowered main character in the fantasy anime genre. His attitude of constantly showing how he is better than everyone else makes it all the more surprising. There are a few scenes where you see the characters in swimsuits, as well as you see the characters in bed together if that is something that makes you uncomfortable. Overall, if you liked the previous seasons I would give Season 2 Part 2 a try because it has a similar feel to season 1.

The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten

When Amane Fujimiya is walking home he sees a girl sitting all alone in the rain. Fearing she might catch a cold he hands her his umbrella. Amane soon finds out that not only is she the most popular girl at his school, but she lives right next door to him as well. Mahiru Shiina returns the umbrella only to find out that Amane has no idea of how to take care of himself. So she starts by making him a healthy dinner as a way to repay the favor. Slowly Amane and Mahiru grow closer as they start to take care of each other.

The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten was different than I was expecting. It was hard to watch at first because the pacing seemed too slow. However, after a few episodes it started to feel like a romance anime. I don't have a lot to say about it, except that it ended on a satisfying note. A lot of romance anime's end without the relationship going anywhere, but you are able to see these two change throughout the season which I really like. If you are a fan of romance anime I would give this one a try.

Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-

After Subaru Natsuki goes shopping one night he is suddenly transported to another world. However, unlike most other Isekai heroes he is not blessed with powers, but has a curse placed on him instead. This curse allows him to go back to a certain point in time if he happens to die. Soon after he comes to this world he meets a half-elf girl who introduces herself as Satella. She asks him if he knows anything about her insignia that was stolen. While Subaru is unaware of what happened he agrees to help her look.  He eventually finds out where it is and after revealing his intentions to give it back to the owner he is promptly sliced open by an assassin known as The Bowel Hunter. After multiple failed attempts that result in his death he is finally able to return the Insignia with the help of a knight known as Reinhard Van Astraea.

I am not going to lie Re:Zero was definitely an anime that was incredibly hard to watch for me. I think the anime could have been amazing if Subaru had used his brain. He eventually does around episode eighteen and from there it became easily watchable for me. However, there were many things that could have been fixed if he had made minor tweaks to his strategy like not revealing that it was his intention to give Emilia the insignia. Had he done that rather than completely changed his plan from the first time things would have gone a lot smoother. The season is visually clean, though there is a lot of swearing. There is a bath scene, but none of the girls are involved. It is just between Roswaal Mathers and Subaru. Overall, I feel like I have seen many Isekai's that are better than this one, but a lot of people like it. If you think it sounds interesting you can give it a try.

Encouragement of Climb Season 3 OVA

Summer break is about to end and everyone is preparing in a different way. After being told that her mom can't spend time with her, Kokona walks around the city and recalls different things that she has done with her mom as she grew up. Meanwhile Kaede is preparing for the new year by studying for college entrance exams with Yuuka. Hinata goes to Aoi's house and finds a hairpin she made and gave to her before her family moved away. Though she couldn't recall why it was important. Hinata then asks her dad what happened, and it all comes back.

Encouragement of Climb Season 3 OVA was hard to watch at first but gets better. I think since most episodes are usually half length episodes watching a full length one felt weird. The entire episode was clean and wholesome. If you liked the previous two seasons the Season 3 OVA could be for you.

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2

After proposing to Sylphy and getting the princess's permission to marry her, Rudeus starts to wonder how marriages happen in this world. He learns from his friends that the first step is finding a house to live in together. Rudeus finds a place which is large but the price has been dropped since there has been a series of murders at this location. In order to make sure its safe Rudeus brings Zanoba and Cliff to search for any monsters that may be hiding. They find what has caused so many to die and with the help of Zanoba's incredible physical strength they are able to stop it. When they learn that it is a doll that moves on its own Zanoba keeps it so that he can study the magic that was cast on it. With the doll out of the way, Sylphy and Rudeus are able to move into a safe and clean home. Not long after, Rudeus receives a letter from Paul telling him that he is sending his little sisters Aisha and Norn to live with him. However, while Aisha looks up to Rudy, Norn still hasn't forgiven him for the fight he had with Paul after he returned from the Demon Continent. Will they be able to make up?

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2 was better than I was expecting. I really liked that you got to see more of Norn and Aisha since they only have small appearances in Season 1 and Season 1 Part 2. The season stays mostly modest. However, there are a few short bath scenes, as well as scenes where you see Roxy and Sylphy undressed in bed. Though the sheets cover most of them so you don't see anything below the shoulders. Anyway if you like the previous seasons of Mushoku Tensei I would suggest watching this as well.

Encouragement of Climb Season 2 Specials

After seeing that Kaede wears the same outfits over and over Yuuka suggests that she gets more girly outfits to show off her feminine side. Kaede calls up Aoi, Hinata and Kokona to talk about it and they decide to go on a shopping trip together. Once they arrive at the mall Kaede heads straight for a store that sells hiking equipment. After looking at a few things Aoi, Hinata, and Kokona redirect her to a store that sells bras and underwear. Seeing as Kaede only has sport bras Aoi tries to pick out a cute and casual one for Kaede.

Encouragement of Climb Season 2 Specials were interesting. I was expecting them to be more sport related like the season 1 OVA was. The second special episode was a countdown of the top 10 best moments between season 1 and season 2 which I thought was unique. The specials aren't relevent to the main story so if you don't like fan service you can feel free to skip these.

Encouragement of Climb Season 2

Aoi, Hinata, Kokona, and Kaede plan a camping trip in the mountains. However, after Aoi's mom gets concerned they decide to do it in Hinata's backyard instead. While not in treacherous terrain, Aoi still gets the experience of setting up a tent and sleeping in a sleeping bag outside. After awhile Aoi starts to get interested in Mount Fuji. So to surprise her Hinata plans a trip to Mount Mitsutouge which has a great view of Mount Fuji. After the four of them hike to the top of Mount Mitsutouge they plan a trip to Mount Fuji so they can see the sunrise from it. Will they be able to climb it, or will Aoi's fear of heights stop her?

Encouragement of Climb Season 2 was super fun to watch. I really like how realistic all the scenery feels. They made this season longer than the first season which was nice. I feel like you get to learn about a lot more mountains in this season than you did in season 1. There are a few bath scenes as well as a hot spring scene. The language remains clean though. If you like sports anime I would definitely give this one a try.

Kaguya-sama: Love is War -Ultra Romantic- Season 3

Iino walks into the Student Council Room to find Ishigami alone. After voicing her disgust that she had the displeasure of running into him she puts on her music so she can study. However, her headphones aren't all the way plugged in so what she's listening to can be heard aloud by everyone. As the other Student Council members walk in Ishigami does everything he can to let her know that her headphones are unplugged without telling her directly. Despite his best efforts her embarrassing taste in music get exposed. On another day the student council are bringing items into the Student Council Room. After seeing Ishigami struggle to carry a desk inside, Chika Fujiwara suggests that they have an arm wrestling competition to see who is the strongest.

Kaguya-sama Season 3 was better than I remembered. I think the addition of Maki Shijo made it a lot better for me. She's a character that is easy to relate to in multiple ways for me. Also it feels like the relationships actually progress this season, which I didn't feel at all in the previous two. Everybody dresses modestly and the language is kept clean. Overall, I would definitely suggest it since it is what I was hoping for in Season one and two.

Kaguya-sama: Love is War? Season 2

In hopes of furthering their relationship Ai Hayasaka sneaks into the Student Council Room and switches out the coffee that the president uses for decaffeinated coffee. This causes Shirogane to fall asleep, but rather than taking advantage of the situation, Kaguya freezes up. After that Chika Fujiwara comes in with a game she and the game club created and asks everyone to play. Reluctantly Kaguya, Shirogane, and Ishigami agree to play. However, many of the things that happen in the game reflect reality a little too well making everyone besides Fujiwara depressed.

Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 2 is really good. A lot of interesting things happen like an election for a new student council, and the reveal of Ishigami's past which lets you know why he seems to be depressed all the time. The Season stays clean visually. However, there is some swearing throughout it. Overall, if you liked the first season I would definitely give Season 2 a try as well.

I Can't Understand What My Husband is Saying Season 2

After learning that Hajime had finally made more than her with his job as a web developer they decide to do something to celebrate. Kaoru is reminded of a ramen place that she went to back in high school but she forgot where exactly it was. So Hajime takes her back to her hometown and they search for it while visiting her old high school. After visiting six other ramen locations they finally find it. Hajime says that he's glad that they went on this trip because it allowed him to have a glimpse into Kaoru's past.

I Can't Understand What My Husband is Saying Season 2 was just as good as the first season. I think my favorite part is when it shows Hajime watching TV and its Himegoto that's playing. The majority of the anime is clean, but there is a hot springs episode. The language remains clean throughout it as well. If you have watched the first season and enjoyed it, I would suggest watching the second season as well.

KONOSUBA -God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! Season 3

After going through the ordeal with the Demon General Sylvia, Kazume decides that he wants to quit adventuring and become a monk. He believes his resolve to be unshakable and heads for the nearest temple. However, after finding a mallet that has the power to make money when you shake it, Kazuma decides to go back home. When he arrives Darkness is holding a letter which she tries to hide. After taking it and reading it, Kazuma learns that the princess wants to meet him and hear about his adventures in person. Will Kazuma be able to act properly in front of royalty without getting into trouble?

Konosuba Season 3 was pretty interesting. It felt different, like there was less of a focus on fighting monsters and adventuring. It was more of a slice of life season with the occasional fight. Surprisingly Kazuma went the whole season without going into debt. Though there were a lot more bath scenes than any other season. There was also a lot of swearing, if that is something that bothers you. In my opinion the first two seasons were better. However, if you have followed the series up to this point, I think season 3 is still worth watching.

I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying

After getting married Hajime Tsunashi stayed at home blogging while his wife Kaoru went off to work. Rather than be in a relationship where they try and make each other happy, Kaoru and Hajime decided to make themselves happy. Despite the differences in their way of life both of them maintain a happy marriage.

I Can't Understand What My Husband is Saying is pretty funny. The relationship of an otaku and a non otaku feels relatable and more realistic than other relationships to me. It kind of reminds me of Anime-Gataris. Though the relationship in Anime-Gataris was one of friendship rather than marriage. The anime is mostly clean except for the ending theme which shows Kaoru and Hajime in the bath. There is also a scene in the first episode where you see Kaoru in a bikini.  Overall, it is a fun anime, and it is worth giving a try.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime OAD

After being stretched far too thin by Shuna and Shion, Rimuru looks for a way for them to have something soft so they aren't always grabbing him. He is reminded of the bean bags in his previous life and decide to make some that resemble him. He first asks Shuna to find a thin stretchy material and then goes to Garm to see if he knows any bead like material that the bean bags can be filled with. Garm lets him know that there is a material called Sarasa that can be found in a nearby lake. However, there are rumors that there is a monster living in the lake so he should be careful. Confident in his abilities, Rimuru invites all his friends to have a picnic by the lake before they gather the Sarasa. However they are caught by surprise when everyone is grabbed by octopus like tentacles. Will they be able to defeat the monster and get the material they came for?

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime OAD was really good. I really liked the episodes about Rimuru teaching at the Freedom Academy. You get to see a little more of the kids after they have all recieved help from the spirits. While it does have an episode where the girls are in bikini's at the lake, I would still give it a try if you like the main series. The OVA takes place between the first and second season, if you want to watch it in chronological order.

As Miss Beelzebub Likes it.

In the underworld there is a place called Pandemonium which is ruled by the demon beelzebub. Most people see her as a cool and collected ruler. However, after getting hired as her assistant Mullin learns the truth. Beelzebub is obsessed with things that are fluffy, so much so that thinking about it can slow down her work. While Mullin's mental image of beelzebub was shattered, he found out that he doesn't mind who she really is. Watch as Mullin and Beelzebub draw closer to each other while making new friends in pandemonium.

As Miss Beelzebub Likes it was a lot funnier and more relatable than I expected it to be. It is made by the same author who made Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included. This was interesting because there were a few times I was reminded of it while watching. However, I believe that As miss Beelzebub likes it is better. While Mullin and Shintaro have similar personalities Mullin is more focused on work and doesn't have to worry about a harem. In this anime every character has someone they like and are trying to get closer to. I especially found myself cheering on Belphegor in her attempts to become closer to Azazel. The accuracy of the workplace type relationships, as well as the way the characters act at work felt pretty relatable to me. There is a bath scene, as well as a scene where Belphegor and Beelzebub try on swimsuits. You do see Beelzebub undressed in the first episode but she is covered by white gossimers, She also wears an outfit for the majority of the show that exposes her chest. Despite that it remains a cute and wholesome show. If you want to see a funny fantasy romance anime I would suggest giving it a try.

Date A Live Season 5

After learning about Kurumi Tokisaki's past, Shido calls all the spirits to Fraxinus to tell them about her true intentions. After talking together, one of Kurumi's clones shows up and warns them that there will be a war where DEM will send out all their forces in an attempt to kill Shido so Isaac Westcott can gain his spirit power. Using the power of beelzebub, Isaac is aware that Kurumi has been going back in time each time DEM has attacked to prevent Shido from dying. He intents to use this to his advantage to see how much more Kurumi is actually able to handle. However, thanks to Kurumi's warning, Ratatoskr intends to use all their resources in stopping DEM. Will Shido and his friends actually be able to stop them?

Date A Live has been one of my favorite series since I started watching anime. I also believe it to be in the top three best harem anime's I have seen. The other two being The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You and The World God Only Knows. However, the majority of this season felt really slow. While it did answer questions that were left unanswered in previous seasons, that wasn't enough to make me want to watch more than two episodes at a time. Were the episodes not fully out I might have dropped it. I think the spirit of origin as a character bothered me. Also in the past a new spirit was introduced every three to four episodes. Though why they didn't do that this season was clear. I think Miku and Origami definitely carried the season for me, though my appreciation for Kurumi grew a great deal as well. There were quite a few beach episodes throughout this season as well as a hot springs episode. Though for the majority of the beach scenes the characters wore regular clothes rather than swimsuits. Overall, if you have kept up with the series so far I would suggest giving it the three episode rule to see if you enjoy it.

Re:Monster

After being stabbed over and over Tomokui Kanata wakes up side by side next to a group of goblin babies. It doesn't take him long to realize he has been reincarnated as a goblin and given the name Gobrou. He learns that goblins grow by evolving. So with the help of of his friend Gobkichi he manages to catch bigger monsters than what would have been possible on his own. He has another secret, and that is his ability to gain the skills of whatever monster he eats from his past life stayed with him. It is only a few days until he is made the leader of the Goblin village. While he has the ability to obtain unlimited strength, will he be able to save everyone?

Re:Monster was very interesting to watch. When I heard that it was about a goblin that gains monsters abilities by eating them I was expecting it to be like Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest. However, it turned out to be more like a mix of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and Redo of Healer. While it never shows anything on the level of Redo of Healer it doesn't hide what Gobrou is doing with the ladies either. In other words you hear the girls moaning, but the scene is blocked as if they are in a private room and all you see is the door. Besides that Gobrou's goal is just to help his friends get stronger. When they successfully do this they make their own Mercenary group called Parabellum. There are some things to be aware of like hot spring scenes in episodes 6 and 11, as well as loose clothing that exposes a lot of skin which isn't uncommon in Isekai anime's. Overall, I thought it was a unique story and worth the watch.

BLUELOCK THE MOVIE -EPISODE NAGI-

Seishiro Nagi had no ambition. All he wanted to do was spend his time playing videogames. That is until he met Reo Mikage. Reo accidentally bumps into Nagi which causes him to drop his game console. Not wanting it to break he jumps off the school stairs and manages to catch it with his foot. After seeing this Reo asks Nagi to play soccer with him. While he rejects the offer multiple times, Nagi finally gives in. Reo tells Nagi of his dream to be the best soccer player in the world. However, his parents would rather have him inherit their company. So they have them play against one of the best high school soccer teams in Japan. But rather than lose like they wanted him to, Reo, Nagi, and their team manage to win. There also happened to be another person watching that day. After seeing them play she recruits them to participate in Bluelock. The goal of Bluelock is to find the greatest striker in japan. Will Reo and Nagi be able to continue their undefeated record?

Bluelock The Movie -Episode Nagi- was so good. I didn't know anything about Bluelock except that it was about soccer, so I had a vague image of what to expect. However, Episode Nagi far surpassed my expectations. It starts by introducing the characters rather than throwing you into it, so watching the first season prior to it doesn't matter which was an upside for me. It also starts at a high school giving it a familiar feel. Not only was the animation impressive, but the story kept me on the edge of my seat as well. Another plus was that the characters didn't feel cringey. Nagi in particular felt relatable to me which made me want to see him succeed. Overall,  if you are wondering about watching it or not, I would definitely suggest giving it a try.

The Detective Is Already Dead

Kimihiko Kimizuka has always had a predisposition for running into trouble. He has stumbled into so many crime scenes that the police starte...
