Masachika Kuze sits next to the schools Ice Princess Alisa Kujo. While she appears to be disapproving of Masachika at first her true feelings come out in Russian. While Masachika pretends not to know what she is saying, he actually learned Russian growing up so he could talk with a girl he met. While he doesn't remember her name, he still wishes to talk to her again. While Alisa doesn't typically like people who slack off she respects Masachika enough that he is allowed to call her by her nickname, Alya. Will their relationship stay platonic or could it turn into something more?
Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feeling in Russian is a fun and different Romance. While it does have the same structure as a lot of other high school romance anime's the whole both characters hiding things about themselves gives it a similar feel to Kaguya-Sama: Love is War. Though thats where the similarity stops. There is a bit more fan service than I was expecting. While there aren't any fan service staples like the beach episode or the hot springs episode, there are some cleavage and panty shots. The anime does swear as well if that is something that bothers you. If some minor fan service is alright with you I would definitely give this one a shot.
