Classroom for Heroes

Blade was originally the great hero who defeated the demon king, but all he wants to do now is live a normal life. He decides to attend an academy where students hoping to become future heroes train. Having spent most of his life either fighting or alone, he makes a goal to become friends with 100 people. However, his cheery attitude comes off as weird since he is unaware of how things are at the academy, like how people avoid Earnest Flaming, the top student. Instead Blade walks up to her in the Cafateria and claims to be her friend, because they are eating together. Watch as blade makes friends and improves his skills along with the rest of the academy.

Classroom for Heroes made me laugh a lot more than I thought it would. Blades inability to read the room, as well as the students inability to see Blade as the Hero despite the evidence being in front of them is just hilarious. I will say that if you are not a fan of the ecchi genre, you should not watch this. I often found myself putting my hand over the computer screen. The problem is mainly Earnest who is constantly lighting herself on fire weather that be to fight, if she's angry, or if she's just trying to lose weight, her clothes burn with her. There is of course multiple hot spring and bathhouse episodes. However, I love the relationships that the character create with each other. As well as Blade's wholesome desire to want everyone to be happy, even if they are his enemies. I was really hoping that he and Sophie would become a couple, but this was more of a comedy, and didn't have much romantic progression. Something I do love is that a lot of people hate a dense main character, but this anime asks "well, what if all the characters are dense?" Its kind of like real life in that sense. There isn't much swearing except for in the last few episodes. I would definitely suggest it if you aren't bothered by what I said, if not that's what these reviews are for.
