Horimiya: The Missing Pieces

The third years go on a class trip to Kyoto. Thanks to them being third years they get a lot more freedom than they did on previous trips. However, Miyamura runs into a problem when the boys have assigned times to bathe. Thanks to the girls having private baths, Miyamura is able to avoid people seeing his tattoos when Hori offers to let him use hers. When they get back Miyamura learns that the boys are required to do swimming for Physical Education, which in prior years was optional. How will Miyamura avoid it this time?

Horimiya: The Missing Pieces is less focused on romance and more focused on the characters becoming better friends with each other. I actually liked it because I went in expecting a side story rather than a continuation of season one. I also thought it was really funny. It is the first anime that has made me laugh out loud since I watched The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You. Both the language and the characters outfits were clean. If you are a fan of slice of life anime, I would definitely suggest this. Since this isn't a continuation of season one it isn't necessary to watch it. However, Horimiya season one is also a fantastic anime, so I would suggest it as well.
