Makoto Konno felt like she was getting all the bad luck until one day she trips and gains the ability to leap through time. She uses this power to change little day to day things like making it possible to eat pudding in the fridge before her sister can. However, Makoto soon learns that even the littlest changes that you make in the past can drastically affect what happens in the future. Will Makoto be able to fix all the changes she's made, only time will tell.
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time was pretty clean. It only swears a few times, and nobody is dressed inappropriately throughout it. You do see Makoto in the bath a few times, but her body is completely immersed in the water. It was difficult for me to watch just because it felt very repetitive. I think it is still a unique way to express time travel, traveling back every few days, rather than traveling to different time periods like you are used to,
