When Mei and Satsuki Kusakabe move to an old house, they believe it is haunted as they start to see creatures like dust bunnies. One day Mei finds a creature that looks like a rabbit and follows it into the forest where she meets Totoro. As Mei, Satsuki, and Totoro continue to meet they show us what it means to be a true friend.
This movie is incredibly cute. There is a scene where Mei, Satsuki, and their dad are all in the bath but you don't see anything inappropriate. There is also no swearing in the movie. I would definitely suggest it because it is good for kids as well as adults.
