Miko Yotsuya is just your average high school girl...that is until she wakes up with the ability to see ghosts. It turns out ghosts are everywhere. Sometimes they look like regular humans, and sometimes they look like monsters. The solution to the problem that Miko has come up with is to completely ignore them. While this works in some cases, it is not so helpful in others. Miko soon finds out that her best friend Hana actually draws ghosts to her. Avoiding them may be harder than she thought.
Mieruko-chan was enjoyable for the most part. I don't typically watch Horror anime, but I enjoyed the majority of the anime. The last two episodes were a bit too creepy for me. The story was good in my opinion. There was a shower scene, a bath scene, and multiple locker room scenes. So if you dislike fan service, you might want to skip this one. However, I do think that it is a good introduction to the Horror anime genre. So if you want to test out Horror anime, this might be a good place to start.
