OniAi Specials

Akiko, Anastasia, Arashi, and Ginbei all decide to plant rice. However, Anastasia has never planted rice and asks how to do it. Arashi tells her to just dig a hole and put it in, then surround it with water. After they are done planting the rice akiko mentions that her hips hurt from how many times she bent over. Arashi offers to give her a massage, which Akiko gratefully accepts. After that Ginbei goes and buys a special mont blanc but is only able to get one. When Arashi walks in and sees she blackmails ginbei by saying she'll only keep her mouth shut if Ginbei can name ten different dishes with nuts in them.

The Oniai special episodes are hard to describe. It has two different styles of animation. One looks like one of those cheap plays where the characters are drawings taped to popsicle sticks, while the other is the standard animation you see in most new animes. There is quite a bit of fan service, but that isn't all that surprising since very few OVA's and Special episodes go without it. Anyway, each episode is only three minutes long so you can finish it pretty fast. If it sounds interesting or you watched the main series and liked it, feel free to give it a try.

Planetarian

In a post apocalyptic world, where most people's only choice of survival is searching for scraps, a man runs around the sarcophagus city. No one has lived there after a bioweapon was dropped from the sky killing countless lives and destroying numerous building. The other shops have all been broken into by scavengers looking for food. Kuzuya our main protagonist finds a place with working electricity which is unheard of since the entire city has been destroyed and abandoned. In this place he finds a robot who is eager to show him the planetarium. However, when she tries to start the projection, she finds out that its not working. Kuzuya decides to help fix it, but there may be more wrong than he expects.

Planetarian was not at all what I expected it to be. However, I kind of went in blind without any expectations. Yumemi Hoshino, our main character is a robot who is fun at times, but she often repeats things which can be a little annoying. Its a lot shorter than most anime series so you can watch it in just under two hours. Everybody dresses modestly, but Kuzuya often swears which I didn't particularly enjoy. So overall I have mixed feelings about it. It was a little boring, but it didn't feel like a waste of time either. If it sounds interesting, feel free to give it a shot.

The Testament of Sister New Devil BURST: Tojo Basara’s Perfectly Peaceful Daily Life

Maria starts out a new day by waking Basara up in hopes of growing closer. However, it has the opposite effect and Basara gets annoyed instead. So, in order to stop her from creating any more mischief, he ties her up temporarily. However, now rather than having Maria wake up Mio Basara does it himself. But when he goes into her room her shirt is partly unbuttoned. Basara goes to button it back up, but as he's doing it Yuki walks in and starts telling him that she is the only one he needs. Their conversation wakes up Mio and she instantly assumes that it was Basara who unbuttoned her. After a lot of arguing, Mio, Basara, and Yuki all head to school.

The Testament of Sister New Devil Season 2 OVA was pretty interesting, It was completely unexpected, but also pretty predictable. This sounds contradictory, but it's actually not. I knew that the OVA was going to be filled to the brim with fan service, I just didn't know how they were going to do it. I think my favorite part was when Yuki and Basara get stuck in the Gym Storage. It's a classic romance anime scenario, but the OVA put its own flair to it. If you are trying to avoid Ecchi anime you can skip over this one. But if you have watched the series and enjoyed it so far, you might enjoy this OVA as well.

Otaku Elf

In Tsukushima, Chuo City, Tokyo is where Takamimi Shrine is. It has been there for over 400 years, and at the head resides an elf who wants to do nothing else besides reading manga, watching anime, playing video games, and building plastic figures. Her Miko, Koito Koganai, is just starting as she finally reached the age of 16. Koito has studied and resolved to fulfill her role perfectly. However, performing rituals with an elf who refuses to go outside makes her job a little bit harder. Luckily, Koito has the patience and discipline to find a way so that everything can work out.

Otaku Elf was a good way to pass the time. It wasn't super interesting, but it was relaxing and easy to watch a few episodes at a time. The whole anime had both clean language and the characters all dressed modestly. Something interesting is it talks a decent amount about japanese history, which I thought was pretty cool. I'm not sure how true it is though. If you like slice of life anime and elf's you can give it a try.

Myriad Colors Phantom World

One day a lab experiment went wrong by the company Alayashiki. Because of this everyones brains began to change which allowed them to see monsters called phantoms. The children of those whose brains changed were born with powers that were able to combat the phantoms. However, not all the phantoms are bad. Those who were willing to not cause trouble were left alone. Teams were later formed to combat the Phantoms who did prove to be dangerous to humanity. One of these teams was made up of two people namely Haruhiko Ichijo who could seal away phantoms by drawing them on a notepad and Mai Kawakami who had the Martial Arts skills to physically fight the Phantoms as well as control over the elements. Even though their powers were impressive they were the lowest performing team at their high school. Mai and Haruhiko decide that the only way to improve is to find more members to join their team. Not long after they meet Reina Izumi who is a Phantom Eater. How will this new member change the way their team is viewed?

Myriad Colors Phantom World was actually a really cool. Every episode starts out with a Psychology concept which somehow connects to the plot of the episode. The fights and characters are fun to watch. There are a few scenes with fan service, but the majority of the show is clean. I would definitely suggest giving it a try if you get the chance.

After-school Hanako-kun Season 2

Nene has been having nightmares night after night and she asks Kou and Hanako what to do. Kou says that its probably common and suggests talking to other people about what nightmares they have. After talking to Nene's classmates they learn that most people have nightmares though they come in different forms. After all the information gathering Teru steps in and uses his exorcist powers to stop Nene's nightmares.

After-School Hanako-kun Season 2 was fun. I really liked the episode where Nene, Kou, and Hanako start their own cafe.  The last episode where Nene enters a Ghost Hotel was a pretty interesting idea. The majority of the characters who are associated with the supernatural side of the school show up in their own unique roll. If you watched the first season of After-School Hanako-kun and enjoyed it, I would definitely suggest watching Season 2 as well.

The Stories of Girls Who Couldn't Be Magicians

Kurumi Mirai had always dreamed of being a magician. She grew up learning about charms from her grandma which inspired her. One night while Kurumi was out walking around she sees a witch casting magic. The witch stops after a paper Kurumi had been holding rolls down at her feet. She picks it up to see a charm that Kurumi had practiced drawing. The witch then asks if Kurumi wanted to be a magician. When Kurumi says yes the witch hands her a magic notebook and gives her advice as well as a promise. However, when Kurumi is finally old enough to get into Rhettoran Magic Academy she fails to get a high enough score to get into the magumi class or modern magic course. She is instead put into the standard class with kids who would rather spend their lives doing ordinary work like cooking, singing, and fashion designing. On the first day the standard class's new teacher proudly proclaims that she is going to turn every one of the standard class students into magicians.

The Stories of Girls Who Couldn't Be Magicians was a good anime. It's one of those ones that isn't easy to binge, and you can't really say why. The story is interesting, the art is fun and stylish, there's character growth as Kurumi and Yuzu both figure out what kind of person they want to be, and there aren't any annoying characters. I really liked how a lot of the show focused on Rhettoran Academy's seven wonders. It kind of reminded me of Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun. I would suggest giving it a try. It isn't the best anime you'll ever see, but it has a good message about how anyone can be the kind of person they aspire to be if they put in the work.

The Testament of Sister New Devil BURST (Season 2)

After learning about Zolgia's attack on Mio, Yuki, and Basara, Jin Toujou decides to approach the current Demon Lord, Leohart. After fighting with him and learning about his nature Jin determined that it wasn't Leohart who gave the order. This attack however, brought the Demon Realm on high alert. Meanwhile Basara plans for the upcoming Sports festival by joining the executive committee. However, mixups with supplies cause contention within the committee. After going back to the store and sorting it out, Basara feels a barrier surround him, then suddenly ordinary humans start using magic. Just before it looks like he is going to attack innocent civilians, he is saved by Yuki's little sister Kurumi. Kurumi then informs him that the Hero's at the village didn't think that Yuki would be powerful enough by herself, so they decided to send Kurumi to help.

The Testament of Sister New Devil Season 2 was pretty good. The story moved at a good pace, and the characters were fun. There were some parts where the music was really good as well. There is a lot of fan service similar to season 1. It kind of reminds me of Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia. The language stays clean though. If you watched season 1 and enjoyed it Season 2 might be for you.

Keijo!!!!!!!! Specials

Nozomi Kaminashi, Sayaka Miyata, Kazane Aoba, and Non Togoguchi do an instructional video about Keijo and what it takes in order to make it. In order to compete in Keijo not only do you need to train relentlessly, but you also have to make it into one of the Keijo training academies. There is a test in order to get in. You move your body in a figure eight position and you are graded based on how many times you can do this in a three minute period. If you do well on this part, the rest is easy.

Watching the Keijo Specials was fun. I had forgotten a lot about this show. But watching the specials made me remember how much I enjoyed it. The majority of the specials are clean, but there is an episode that takes place inside of a bathhouse. If you enjoyed the main series you should give the specials a try.

After-school Hanako-kun

After cleaning the bathroom day after day Nene wants to find a way to make cleaning more interesting. So she asks her friend Aoi what she thinks. Aoi tells nene that anything can be fun if you do it with someone you love. So Nene invites Teru Minamoto to help clean the bathrooms, but unfortunately he only has his sights set on exorcising Hanako which begins to be a problem. On another day when Nene goes to clean she finds that Hanako has been covered in piles of Mokke. The Mokke tell her that they were attempting to kill Hanako so that they could take his spot as a school wonder. Since there were a few spots open Hanko decides to interview them for the job. Their motivation is to destroy the school and turn it into a candy plantation with the students as human laborers. Will everything turn out all right?

After-school Hanako-kun was better than I expected. It was funny and cute. During the main season the Mokke only have a small role, but they are included a lot more in this side series, There is no swearing and no inappropriate scenes. If you liked the main season I would definitely suggest giving this one a try.

Teekyuu Season 2

Nasuno, Kanae, Yuri, and Marimo are asked by Kanae's cousin to help with a bean throwing contest at a nursury school by Kanae's cousin. The tennis club all agrees to help, but when they get there they see a lot they didn't expect. The first thing they notice is that the Principle is a retired navy seal. When the kids start to kick Marimo she notices that they kick a lot harder than regular kids. The Principal then reveals that he has been teaching them martial arts. Its finally time for the bean throwing contest, but what happens next ends up more like a soft airgun fight. After that a girl from the school newspaper shows up to interview the tennis club, but her review ends up making the club look questionable.

Teekyuu Season 2 was just as wild and fun as season 1 was. It has the same feel as season 1, however, the characters do different activities such as going on a trip to a hot spring, getting challenged by the baseball team after they destroyed their tennis court, meeting aliens, etc. It does have a few inappropriate scenes but its mainly just the opening theme for the season which you can skip over. The other one is right after their table tennis match during the fourth episode. But the rest of the season stays clean. If you want something that you can watch in less than a half hour Teekyuu is worth giving a try.

Toilet-bound Hanako-kun

Nene Yashiro is always interested in hearing rumors. So when her friend Aoi tells her about a ghost that is in the third floor bathroom of Kamome Academy she gets curious. Supposedly, Hanako of the bathroom will grant any wish to the person who summons them, so long as they pay a price. Feeling depressed about her lack of success with her previous crush's she decides to give it a try. Nene is able to summon Hanako and he agrees to grant her wish, however, his methods to make it come true are much more ordinary than she expected.

Toilet-bound Hanako-Kun was a lot of fun to watch. It would be a great anime for someone who is just starting to watch anime. I love the mix of mystery and supernatural elements it has. The characters and storyline is great. It also has no fan service and no swearing. While it might not be for everyone, I think it is definitely worth watching.

Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You

Sawako Kuronuma is often called Sadako because of her frightening appearance. However, rather than wanting to scare people, she really just wants to make friends. She gets her chance when she sees Chizuru Yoshida and Ayane Yano. Rather than running away like everyone else they decide to talk and listen to Sawako. Them along with Shota Kazehaya become Sawako's biggest supporters. Though their support doesn't really show until their class is asked to change seats. Nobody wants to sit next to Sawako because they all believe that they'll be cursed if they do. So Shota takes the initiative by taking the desk next to Sawako while Chizuru and Ayane follow suit by sitting in front and diagonal from her. Though Sawako has started to make friends will this be enough to stop the wild rumors that somehow keep spreading about her?

Kimi Ni Todoke: From Me to You was absolutely amazing. I felt all the emotions. I laughed, I cried, I smiled. Its been a long time since an anime has made me cry more than a single tear. In this case it was when Chizuru gets rejected by the guy she's had a crush on for years. That hit pretty close to home for me. I can honestly say that Kimi Ni Todoke is an amazing romance anime. it doesn't have an inappropriate content such as swearing and fan service. I would suggest giving it a try if you enjoy romance and slice of life anime.

Teekyuu

Nasuno Takamiya, Kanae Shinjo, Yuri Oshimoto, and Marimo Bandou are all part of their high school tennis club. However, almost none of them are actually good at tennis, and would rather be doing something else. So they spend the majority of their time doing other things like going to the pool, finding a part time job, going to summer festival, and talking about random things like how an omelette and a chick can both be considered tennis balls since they are both round and fluffy.

Teekyu is pure chaos. Since every episode is only two minutes long, the characters talk super fast and the animation is terrible. The jokes they tell are absolutely hilarious though. There is so much going on that its kind of hard to keep up at first. There is a bath episode, and a pool episode where the girls are all in swimsuits. I would say if you are thinking about trying Teekyu watch the first few episodes. You may want to stop after the first episode because of how chaotic it feels, but give it a few before you decide to stop watching because you may end up enjoying it.

Ranma1/2 (2024)

The Tendo family who owns the Tendo Dojo consists of the Dad Soun Tendo and his three daughters Kasumi Tendo, Nabiki Tendo, and Akane Tendo. Word arrives from an old friend of Soun's that he and his son have been traveling the world to become the best fighters they can. without telling any of the kids Soun and his friend decided to have their children get engaged. Soun had never met Ranma though. So he is thoroughly surprised that rather than a boy and his dad approach the house, they are greeted by a girl being followed by a giant panda. They still allow them to stay at the house despite the confusion. Akane asks Ranma to fight her. When she is beaten she claims that she is happy that she was beaten by a girl, and that she never wants to lose to a guy. It isn't long after that she finds out Ranma's secret. How will things work out now?

I am always down for a gender bender anime, and Ranma1/2 did not disappoint me. It kind of reminded me of Ayakashi Triangle. I think the characters are fun to watch, and the concept of how people transform is pretty cool as well. There is quite a bit of fan service throughout it though. There are bath scenes, pool scenes, a hot spring scene, as well as many other scenes where you see Ranma shirtless both in his male form and his female form. If you don't mind some fan service and are a fan of action anime, Ranma1/2 might be for you.

Bananya Around the World (Season 3)

On a blue planet out in space we find a cat residing in a banana known as bananya. While he is in the forest one day a glowing light appears in front of him which transforms into baby sweet. Baby sweet is a small bananya with a star on top of its head. Baby sweet has the ability to teleport around the world. Their first stop is a small island where it is eternally summer. There they meet Eternal Summer Bananya who shows them how to enjoy life on the island. Soon after, a fin appears in the ocean and we meet Shark Bananya who decides to become friends with the three. But just before they can really learn about each other, Baby Sweet and Bananya are teleported to another part of the planet. Where will they go next?

I think this is the season I have enjoyed the most in the Bananya series. It was a cool choice to show Baby Sweet and Bananya travel all over the world. You get to see them in a bunch of fun scenerios because of that. While they were all exciting I think my favorite was the murder mystery episode where Bananya and Baby Sweet teleport onto a train where it appears a certain bananya has died recently. If you enjoyed any of the previous seasons of Bananya I would definitely give this one a try. It doesn't take much time to watch and it is worth every minute.

Squid Girl

One Day a little girl arrives at a beachside restaurant claiming she has come to take over the surface world. Her name is Squid Girl and she wants revenge on all those humans who have been dumping their garbage in the ocean. Rather than take her seriously Eiko Aizawa one of the restaurant's employees puts her to work passing out food to the customers. When Eiko sees squid girl struggling with helping serve people she asks how she intends to conquer the human race if she can't even handle thirty customers. However, when squid girl made her speech she had assumed that there were only a thousand humans on the earth rather than six billion. It seems that in order to conquer the world, she will first have to conquer customer service.

Squid Girl was a surprisingly fun anime. It has a really unique feel as the entire anime takes place on the beach. I really like the characters as well in this. I think the ones that stick out the most are the scientists who hang out at the beach in hopes of seeing aliens. I think I like the idea of being paid to hang out at the beach. Usually I report if there is a beach episode because you see girls in bikinis. But while every episode is a beach episode, Squid Girl has a much calmer feel than most beach episodes you see in anime. Probably because the intention isn't to have Squid Girl become an Ecchi anime like bikini warriors or Ao-chan can't study, but to just be a chill slice of life show. I would definitely suggest giving it a watch.

BOKUBEN: We Never Learn

Nariyuki Yuiga is trying to get his schools recommendation which allows somebody to attend college free of tuition. Although he may try his hardest their are geniuses at his school who far surpass him in math and literature. Rizu Ogata is known as the thumbelina supercomputer and can get the answer to equations just by looking at them. Fumino Furuhashi can write an essay that moves someone to tears without even trying. One day the principle calls in Nariyuki and tells him that he can get the recommendation. However, in order for him to do that he has to teach Fumino and Rizu in the subjects they aren't talented in. He is also given the task of teaching Uruka Takemoto who excels at sports but is seriously lacking in every academic subject. While he wants to reject the condition, he isn't willing to give up with the recommendation on the line.

We Never Learn: Bokuben was a lot better than I was expecting. While the High School setting may be overused, something about We Never Learn felt fresh and new. I think the concept of the relationship being tutor and student felt out of the ordinary. The characters are all fun, but I think my favorite is Uruka. She gives the anime the special feeling you get from romance anime. There is some fan service such as shower scenes, bath scenes, a sauna scene, as well as a scene where the girls show up to a lingerie store while Nariyuki is working there. But every episode is enjoyable. If you are a fan of slice of life anime and can handle a little fan service, I would definitely suggest giving it a try.

SHY Season 2

All the heroes stay in their respective countries while Lady Black deals with a country that's been completely flooded. Thanks to Stardust's help she is able to get money and relief supplies. He even comes in person to save a man who was about to get crushed by a falling building. Meanwhile Century and Spirit deal with robberies, while Shy saves a girl that is about to get hit by a truck. A Reporter who has been asked to come up with her own story for her next project witnesses the act and asks to interview Shy. Though during her interview the reporter Asuka learns that Shy isn't all that different from your everyday citizen. This helps give a new perspective on her writing which she has told has been lacking. While the Heroes go about their day to day business, Stigma and Amarariruku's plans and goals remain a mystery. Will Shy and the other Heroes be able to stop him?

Shy Season 2 was fun to watch. It introduced some new characters named Mai and Ai. While at first glance the appearance of her plan seems the same as Tsveta's in Season 1 since both of them use their heart to trap part of the world. However, Mai's motivation is completely different as well as the depth of her plan. There is a shower scene but besides that there isn't any fan service in the series. There is also no swearing in it as well. If you enjoyed season 1, I would suggest giving season 2 a try as well.

Recently, My Sister is Unusual OVA

When Moa finds a college student working at a cafe in town she decides to confess her feelings. However, her brother Shoutarou walks by in the middle of it and jumps to the conclusion that she messed up somehow. When Moa explains that she was going to go to the movies with him Shoutarou teases her about how a college student would never go out with someone like her. But he is proven wrong when she manages to set up the movie date over text. Worried over what will happen on the date, Shoutarou asks Yuuya to hang out with him on Sunday so he can follow his sister around on her date.

Recently, My Sister is Unusual OVA was interesting to watch. It had both the date scene for the first half of the episode as well as a Christmas episode for the second half of the episode. There were multiple panty shots, as well as girls in revealing Santa outfits. There is also a scene of mitsuki in her underwear talking to Hiyori about her plans for Christmas. I watched this because I thought it may continue the story, which it kind of does. But, you don't need to watch it.

The Testament of Sister New Devil: Tojo Basara's Hard, Sweet Daily Life

Maria is making breakfast one morning when she hears Mio talking in her sleep. After she hears Mio sleep talk about Basara, she believes that Mio might be having an erotic dream. Not willing to let this chance slip by, she sets up a camera that allows her to see what people are dreaming. Unfortunately she uses a spell that requires her to participate in the dream rather than just observe. So feeling like its her duty as a succubus to go through with it, she imitates what she has seen Basara do in real life. Unfortunately she is caught and reprimanded after Basara walks into the room. After that Maria decides to go back to making breakfast.

The Testament of Sister New Devil Season 1 OVA was exactly what you would expect, had you seen season 1. A short story about their home life, a short story about school, as well as some fan service. There is a bath scene, as well as the girls getting undressed. So it follows the pattern of the main series. I wouldn't suggest watching it unless you really liked season 1. It's not important to the story.

SHY

In the mid 21st century war throughout the world ceased to exist, and people with superpowers started to appear. They became known as heroes. Every country on earth has its own personal hero to save them. While war may be gone, there is no shortage of everyday problems that still happen. One day in a amusement park in Japan a rollercoaster malfunctioned and the car was stuck upside down in the air. Thankfully Japan's hero, Shy was there. She helped get every individual out one by one. But right before she could get to the last person the car flew off the rollercoaster. Shy was able to stop the car but ended up wounding the girl that was left, leaving her hospitalized. After this Shy disappeared having lost faith in her ability to do her job. Will she find the strength that she needs to help those around her?

I really enjoyed the first season of Shy. It has a different feel from other anime's that center around the characters having powers such as Charlotte or Darwins Game. It has a fun feeling to it. The characters all dress modestly. There are only a few times where the characters swear. If you enjoy anime where the characters have super powers I would definitely give it a try.

Demon Lord, Retry! R (Season 2)

Hakuto Kunai takes the help offered by Yukikaze and Mikan and heads to Rookie. After he arrives he learns of the existence of heroes. He talks to one that had just arrived in the city to figure out what the hero's goal was. After learning that he wasn't a threat the demon lord decides to go into the prison dungeon to see if he can find items that protect against magic. However, all he finds is a mysterious gun. After defeating a number of monsters he decides to use the skill points he earned to summon another one of his aides. Once his new Aide Akane appears she asks him what he wants to do in this new world. Hakuto now has to reflect on what he'll do if going home isn't an option.

Demon Lord, Retry Season 2 was better than I was expecting. It was hard to watch at the beginning due to the drastic change in animation. However, the story was great. My favorite arc is probably the one where Hakuto Kunai teams up with Organ and Mink to infiltrate demon country. Just like season 1 there was a bunch of hot springs scene, but since he basically runs a Hot Spring hotel it's inevitable. If you can overcome the weirdness with the animation change I would definitely suggest giving it a watch. While the Japanese voice actors changed the english voice actors stayed the same so that was a perk for me since I enjoy the english dub better.

Joshiraku

Marii, Gankyou, Tetora, Kigurumi, and Kukuru all perform Rakugo at the same theater. When they're not performing they spend their time talking about random topics in the theater's dressing room. Some of these things are what shape do you see when you look at the moon, does the color blue make things seem colder, if they become delinquents will it make it so they get married earlier? They also visit various cities in Japan and talk about what those cities are known for.

Joshiraku is not the type of show that's easy to binge. However, that does not mean its a bad show. While I don't usually laugh at comedy anime, I found myself laughing multiple times throughout the season. Something to note as well is that the characters frequently break the fourth wall which can be pretty funny depending on the situation. For example, on one of their trips they decide to visit a place where they can see the building where their anime is being animated. It does have some fan service here and there, such as two bath scenes, a beach scene, a hot springs scene, and multiple times where more skin is exposed than necessary for comedic purposes. I would suggest giving it a try, but I should let you know that you may not find it funny at all depending on your sense of humor.

NAKAIMO - My Little Sister Is Among Them! OVA

Now that its come into the open that Shougo and Miyabi are siblings, Miyabi takes advantage of it and tries to be the only one around him. When Konoe and Rinka bring lunches for Shougo, Miyabi feeds them to Shougo and claims that she won't allow Shougo to date anyone she doesn't approve of. After she says that Ikusu Mizutani and Mei Sagara come out from the bushes and propose that all the girls go on a date with Shougo and Miyabi can decide who she feels is best for her brother.

The final episode of Nakaimo - My Little Sister Is Among Them! had a similar feeling to the Date A Live movie as well as the last episode of Date A Live season 3. I really liked that they did the format where he goes on dates with everybody. One thing that was disappointing was that Ikusu and Shougo's date got cut short because it was going too well. I honestly think that their the best couple and the fact that everybody has mistaken Ikusu for a boy makes it all the more hilarious. there is some fan service here and there. Like Sagara takes Shougo to a married couple cafe where the woman acting as the wife has a bunch of cleavage showing. You also see  a fantasy of Shougo's after Mana Tendo and Mei Sagara's date where they act inappropriately such as Mei lifting up her skirt and Mana allowing Shougo to grab her chest. Overall, it was kind of expected given how the regular show goes. If you liked the main series, I believe the OVA is worth watching.

OniAi: He May Be My Brother, But It's Fine as Long as We're in Love

Akiko Himenokoji has waited six years to see the brother she loves. Now after all this time they will finally live together again. However, it won't be exactly the way she expected. Three members of the student council will live alongside Akiko and Akito as they all attend the same school. While this wouldn't usually be a problem, all three girls are determined to keep Akiko and Akito apart while also trying to get some of Akito's time for themselves. Will things work out for Akiko or will she be destined to only have family bonding time from afar?

OniAi is something else. While I typically enjoy the sibling romance genre, Akito was a bit annoying as a main character. Unlike other harem main characters he's not oblivious to the girls feelings, he just flatly refuses to be with anyone. This is a red flag for a romance anime. He kind of reminds me of the main character from Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included. While they both refuse to be with the women who like them, I think Shintaro annoys me more because the girls are much kinder in Studio Apartment. The girls in Oniai are typical harem personalities, but each one is very distinct from each other which I think is good.
