After defeating the demon lord of the world of Alayzard, The Hero Akatsuki Ousawa runs away to return to his own world and is labeled "The Rogue Hero". However, he doesn't return alone. Right before the Demon Lord died he entrusted his daughter Miu to the hero. Right as they return they are picked up and brought to an academy for heroes that have returned from other worlds and retained their powers. While Akatsuki doesn't have any magic to use, he has mastered the manipulation of energy within the body allowing him to do what others can't, like control the way people act, think, and feel. Will this be enough to survive with the countless heroes who have all been isekaied and returned as well?
Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero was really good. The story is pretty similar to anime's like the Asterisk War and chivalry of a failed knight. That goes for the level of fan service it has as well. While there is a beach episode and a hot springs scene, Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero is unique in that most of the fan service isn't the main character walking in on girls changing, but becoming something comparable to a panty thief. In other words most of the fan service is instigated by him. If you can find a censored version I would watch it, because Crunchyroll surprisingly left the anime uncensored making the fan service even more lewd. However, if you don't mind it the Akatsuki's attitude and personality puts a fresh vibe into a story that has already been done. The only difference between this and most other magic academy anime is the returning from another world part. I think it is worth a watch if you have a tolerance for fan service, but I know that this type of anime isn't for everyone as well.
