The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess

For generations the Gandesblood line has brought about powerful soldiers of war. But unfortunately Terakomori Gandesblood has always been weak and short. After being bullied in school she became a shut-in for three years and had just about given up on any responsibility. Until she is awoken by a maid and told that the queen has granted her the position of one of the Seven Crimson Lords. Now she needs to lead an army through multiple battles and if she loses or tries to run away the result is death. The 7th battalion that Komori has been given command of desires power over everything else. If she shows any signs of weakness they could all turn against her. Will Komori be able to convince everyone that she's the strongest?

The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess was pretty good. It started out giving me a Liar, Liar kind of vibe but with magic instead of technology. It continued to have similarities throughout like Sakuna Memoir's arc bears some resemblance to what happened with Noa Akizuki. Also when Villhaze is captured kind of reminds me of Shirayuki being taken hostage. Though there was a lot more blood in The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess. A big difference is this is a yuri, but it wasn't overwhelming like some Yuri's are. There is some fan service throughout the show. In both episode one and episode five Villhaze is seen undressed in Komori's bed. In episode two there is a bath scene with Komori and Villhaze. Lastly episode 9 is a beach episode. There is also a lot of swearing throughout it. However, I really liked how they gave Komori a hidden power that she always forgets when its over. It kind of reminds me of Zenitsu from Demon Slayer. I would definitely recommend this to those who want to see a cool anime about vampires, and aren't bothered by some fan service.

All Saints Street Season 4

After getting a illness that can't be cured with medicine, Lily's personality completely changes. She gains a fascination with death metal and asks both Neil and Nick to take her to Hell. They eventually go along with Lynn. However, in his attempts to keep everyone safe the majority of Lynn's Luggage is confiscated. Then once Neil, Nick, Lily, and Lynn arrive, Lynn is kidnapped by kangaroos. Neil and Nick dress as Kangaroo's to take Lynn back but are found out and captured as well. Will everyone be able to get out of this predicament?

All Saints Street Season 4 was just as good as the other three seasons. I really liked that we got to see Nick and Neil's family, as well as Ira's. The Christmas episode was super good as well. Everything was clean and there was no swearing. I would definitely suggest giving it a try if you liked the previous three seasons.

The World God Only Knows Season 2

Elsie and Keima continue their hunt for loose souls. However, one has escaped and become too big to go into another person again. As they search for this soul they run into Elsie's old classmate and fellow loose soul hunter Haqua. She is determined to solve the case alone but after some convincing from Keima she decides to team up with Elsie in her search for the loose soul. But when they finally find the soul it has already taken control of a building full of people. Will they be able to save everyone?

The World God Only Knows Season 2 was really good. This did take me a little longer to finish than the first season did though. It stays pretty clean throughout the season. There is a part where Haqua creates a dome with dolls that do what she says if she speaks into a microphone. Though the dolls start acting inappropriately when the microphone gets smashed. There is also a scene where in the final episode multiple Keima's are at war and once they find peace they all turn into naked chibi characters. But because it's chibi it doesn't seem real to me. I would definitely give it a watch if you liked season 1.

Dead Mount Death Play

A necromancer known as the Corpse God is targeted by a man known for taking down opponents far stronger than him. Shagrua Edith Lugrid also known as the Calamity Crusher can see the dead, an ability he shares with the Corpse God. As they fight The Corpse God is brought to the brink of destruction, but right before he dies, The Corpse God uses a reincarnation spell. He wakes up in an abandoned alley in the body of a boy named Polka Shinoyama who had just been killed. Needless to say this caused a commotion for both the police and the hitmen who had taken him out. His Killer Misaki Sakimiya comes after him again but is killed and brought back as a zombie. After learning of his power Misaki's boss Clarissa lends Polka a place to stay as well as the help of two of her subordinates Misaki and Takumi Kuruya. Together they start their own fortune telling business using Polka's ability to speak with Ghosts as help in getting information on their clients. But while Polka dreams of a quiet life, he is in for a big surprise as he learns about the history of Shinjuku as well as the building he currently inhabits.

Dead Mount Death Play was a lot more interesting than I thought it would be. I was expecting an Isekai when I first heard about it, but was met with a Reverse Isekai. It starts out hard to watch, but gets better the farther you get into it. It stays mostly clean, but there is a shower scene where both Polka's Cousin and Misaki are undressed, as well as scenes where girls are dressed immodestly in the bar that Clarissa owns. I think it is worth a watch, but it does have a darker feel than most anime, which I know isn't for everyone. Though if you like Mystery anime I would suggest giving it a try.

All Saints Street Season 3

Neil, Nick, Ira, and Lily decide to tail Lynn after hearing that he has been set up for an arranged marriage meeting. While Neil, Ira, and Lily are fine watching from the sidelines Nick dresses up as a waiter at the restaurant Lynn is attending with his date. Meanwhile Neil finds a cat on the side of the road and takes it in. However, it turns out to be their next door neighbor who is put under constant surveillance by Lynn after she wrecked apartment 1031.

All Saints Street Season 3 was cute and wholesome like the first two seasons. The language is clean and nothing inappropriate happens. I would definitely suggest it if you liked the first two seasons of the show. There is an episode where the characters go to a water park so you see Lily in a swimsuit. However,  because it's a short you don't lose any of the story if you skip over it. 

Santa Company: Midsummer Merry Christmas

One Night a girl sees Santa as he is about to leave her room. She claims that the stone on his neck is beautiful and asks if she can keep it. Santa agrees on the condition that she work for him when she is older. The girl named Mint goes to school where she meets two boys named Thomas and Noah. Mint had an attitude of relying on others and didn't consider how other people feel, until she gets assigned to pick up trash on a tropical Island. How will Mint overcome the obstacles that lie in wait for her?

This was kind of like a prequel to Santa Company. It does explain how Santa Company came to be and what they do when it's not Christmas. But Santa Company still makes sense without it. Everybody dresses modestly and the language stays clean. I don't typically have a problem with animation, but this was kind of weird for me. The story was good though. I definitely would suggest it for anyone who has watched or wants to watch Santa Company.

Santa Company

Noel is the daughter of the manager at Santa Company. However, while she has chosen to work there she can't seem to get out of training. After hearing that there is a present that won't get delivered She gathers her friends Mint, Bell, and Thomas to help her deliver it. Each of them know that if they take this path they may never see Noel again due to her breaking the rules. Though things take a turn for the worse when Noel is pushed of the sleigh in midair after Mint starts panicking. Not only does she fall into a forest not knowing where to go, but she is also chased by a pack of wolves. Will everything turn out alright this Christmas?

Santa Company was different than I expected, but it was definitely worth watching. It was kind of like Arthur Christmas. Everyone stays modest, and the language is clean throughout it. I would definitely suggest it if you are looking for a Christmas themed anime.

I Shall Survive Using Potions!

Kaoru Nagase died early due to a distortion in space. While she could not be put back on Earth, she is given the option to live in a world called Verny. Thanks to the Goddess letting her choose what power she is given, Kaoru chooses to have the ability to make any potion she wants with whatever effects she wants. She can also make potion bottles that looks however she imagines. For additional help she is given the ability to read, write, speak, and understand every language on Verny. Though when she arrives Kaoru learns that magic is a lot less prominent than she had expected. This makes people underestimate her potions. Will Kaoru find a way to live the laid-back life she wanted?

I Shall Survive Using Potions is written by the same author that made "Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement" and "Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?" both of which are very good. Except for a hot spring scene the anime is super clean and wholesome. It is mainly a slow life Isekai since a lot of the time Kaoru works in different stores to make her money. There is some swearing but it is only here and there. I would definitely suggest it if you are looking for a fun new Isekai to watch.

Tearmoon Empire

After being executed in her previous life, Mia Luna Tearmoon is sent back in time to her twelve year old self. With her Journal that she kept marking all the persecution she faced, Mia decides to change the way she acts to avoid being beheaded at the guillotine. She works to gain the trust of those that betrayed her and compliments those she had cast aside. With her efforts she becomes known as "The Wisdom of the Empire". Watch as Mia's intentions being constantly misunderstood allow her to save her kingdom and make friends she never would have in her last life.

This was the best anime that came out in Fall of 2023 in my opinion. While there is a bath scene nothing is really revealed. Everything besides that is extremely wholesome. There is also no swearing throughout the season. This is something I would feel comfortable suggesting to anyone who is interested in Otome Game Isekai type anime.

Magical☆Star Kanon 100%

Right before Kanon is about to haver her auditions for her new little sister a Loose Soul enters the building. When Elsie arrives she finds that Kanon has been turned into a child. While Elsie understands the situation, the staff believe that she is there to audition and are instantly convinced that she is the perfect sister for Kanon. The situation becomes even more complicated when the loose soul appears as the adult Kanon to judge the competition. Will Kanon be able to help convince everyone that she is the genuine Kanon, as well as help Elsie catch the loose soul?

This OVA was actually pretty good. I was really hoping that Elsie would become Kanon's sister to see if that would make Keima Kanon's Brother, but her being rejected made sense. There is a Shower scene but it is censored so you don't really see anything. There is also a slideshow at Kanon's concert of her in a swimsuit. Aside from that everybody dresses modestly. There is also no swearing in it either. While it is not essential to the plot of The World Only God Knows it was a fun side story. I would suggest it if you are interested.

Kanokon Specials

Chizuru, Kota, Nozomu, and their classmates continue their day to day adventures. This includes celebrating Christmas, Valentines Day, as well as their usual activities like eating lunch together, doing mock interviews, and trying to flirt with Kota.

This is kind of like the Hybrid x Heart Shorts. This was purely meant for people looking for fan service. Something disappointing about this is that only every other episode has a story. The odd ones are more like fan service slide shows, while the even ones have a story to them. This was originally something that came with the dvd of Kanokon, So unless you are into this I would watch something else.

The World God Only Knows

Keima Katsurugi is known as the God of Conquest for being able to conquer the heart of any girl no matter what dating sim they are from. Believing that he is talking about conquering the hearts of girls in the real world he is a sent a message asking if he truly is the God of Conquest, and right after replying a girl shows up named Elsie. She tells Keima that she is a Demon from Hell who has been tasked with finding loose souls that have escaped and taken possession of girls in the real world. The way to release them is to make the girls fall in love with Him. However, after Elsie finds out that his skills only apply to video games, she tells Keima that because contracts with Demons are so strict the only way out is to capture the loose souls or they both could lose their heads.

The World God Only Knows was a lot better than I was expecting. I avoided this one for some time because I read a review that said it doesn't get good until the third season. However, I thought I would give it a try and it was actually really good. It is kind of like a mix of Date a Live and Love Tyrant. However, instead of joining the main character's harem like they do in Date a Live, the girls forget what happened after the loose soul is captured. There is also a lot less fan service in this than in Date a Live and Love Tyrant. The only fan service is a bath scene and a shower scene in episode eight. I would still suggest Love Tyrant and Date a Live if you like Romance anime and haven't seen them though. The World God Only Knows only swears twice. If you are wondering if you should give this a watch I would definitely recommend it.

Kanokon: The Girl Who Cried Fox

Kota Oyamada is a boy who grew up in the country, but moved to Tokyo to go to school. it is there he meets a girl named Chizuru Minamoto who says that she's in love with him. Though She has a secret that makes it dangerous to date Kota. Chizuru is a fox spirit. Even after learning her secret Kota still accepts her. It isn't too long after that Kota helps out a girl who has eaten all of the meat at a food stand. This girl Nozomu Ezomori is a wolf spirit and falls in love with Kota soon after. With two girls pursuing him many misunderstandings are formed among his classmates. So much so that Kota gets the nickname the king of Eros. Will Kota be able to find a way out of this situation?

Kanokon was an interesting anime. Though if you are looking for something clean I would skip this one. There is a bath scene, a hot spring episode, a beach episode, and Chizuru taking off her clothes as well as Kota's just about everywhere. Whether it be in a classroom, the street, or in a bedroom, Chizuru isn't shy about showing off her body if it means getting Kota to like her back. I would only watch this if you are purposefully looking for an ecchi slice of life anime. However, if you are Kanokon has a cute story, as well as some unexpected action.

I'm Giving the Disgraced Noble Lady I Rescued a Crash Course in Naughtiness

After being framed by the prince of Neruz Charlotte Evans is chased out of the country. She ends up passed out in front of the Demon Lord's mansion. He takes her in and quickly learns that even before she was framed her family treated her more like a maid than a member of the family. Allen Crawford decides that he is going to teach her about the naughty things of the world, so she can experience things she didn't get to growing up. Watch both Charlotte and Allen grow as they spend time together.

While the name of the anime sounds like it is going to be an ecchi, this turned out to be one of the most wholesome anime I have seen. When Allen talks about doing naughty things it is usually things like eating dessert before eating dinner, and playing video games late into the night. While there are a lot of anime's labeled as romantic comedies, I felt like this was a true romantic comedy. The only naughty thing that happens is when Charlotte and Allen go to a hot springs resort made for couples in episode five. You see both of them in swimsuits. All the characters dress modestly for the rest of the anime. The language is kept clean as well. If you are looking for something cute I would definitely give I'm Giving the Disgraced Noble Lady I Rescued a Crash Course in Naughtiness a try.

The Eminence in Shadow Season 2

Shadow and the members of Shadow Garden go to the Lawless City. A City with three rulers. However, Shadow is only after the vampire queen who has been asleep for nearly a century and now is on the verge of awakening. Prior to the real battle everyone in the city starts turning into zombies. And if you are bitten by them you also turn into a zombie. Once she awakens everyone in the city slowly gets their blood sucked out of them fueling the queen's power. Will Shadow Garden be able to defeat the queen as well as save the citizens of the Lawless City?

The second season of The Eminence in Shadow was a lot cleaner compared to the first season. There are some parts where girls wear revealing dresses though. There is also an episode where the seven shadows go to a hot springs resort, so you see them in swimsuits. There is some swearing as well. Like the first season every single episode was super good. I would definitely suggest it if you are a fan of Isekai. 

The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy

After his home is attacked rather than fight back the Demon Lord of Death Leonis Death Magnus decides to sleep for a thousand years and then rebuild his army when he wakes up. However, he isn't woken up in his previous Demon Lord form, but the body he had when he was Leonis the Hero. Leo is found by two students of Excalibur Academy. A school that focuses on training Holy Swordsmen to fight creatures called Voids. While he had originally planned to rebuild his undead army, Leo learns that the world is completely different than how he had imagined it would be. Sorcery has been completely forgotten as well as the people and events that happened a thousand years prior. Now people rely on technology that makes use of mana. So Leo decides it would be better to hide who he is and enrolls at Excalibur Academy to learn more about the current state of the world.  

The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy was really interesting. It had a similar feel to Absolute Duo with it taking place at a school and having weapons that are associated with your soul. However, the focus on the undead kind of gave me the feeling I had while I was watching Overlord as well. There are a lot of shower and bath scenes, as well as moments when Selia is just walking around in a towel. The fan service doesn't go beyond that. There is quite a bit of swearing throughout the season. If you don't mind the swearing and fan service I would definitely suggest it.

All Saints Street Season 2

While Daomao has given up on fighting the Demon Lord, that doesn't mean that everyone has. Neil's brother Nick shows up to his apartment on All Saints Street under the guise of hanging out, when really he wants to summon the Demon Lord from within Neil. After trying 99 different methods Nick is finally successful in summoning the Demon Lord. However, the goals and ambitions of the Demon Lord appear to be different than what Nick had been told. Will Nick still continue to protect Neil even with his Ulterior motives?

All Saints Street Season 2 was really good. Everyone dresses modestly, and the language is kept clean as well. You get a glimpse into Neil's past thanks to Nick. You also get to see his relationships with his roommates and Lily slowly grow. I would definitely suggest it. I'm in Love with the Villainess

During her life our protagonist would always relax by playing her favorite Otome Game after a hard day of work. However, it was not the princes that she was playing for, but the villainess Claire François. So when she learns she has woken up as her character Rae Taylor she does everything she can to avoid the princes and get Claire to fall in love with her. This consists of her finding ways to be at her side like getting a position as Claire's maid, as well as creating competitions where the winner gets to ask the loser to do something for them. Will Rae get the girl, or will this world follow the script of the original game?

While I don't typically like Yuri anime, I loved every single episode of I'm in Love with the Villainess. What I love the most is the dynamic between Rae and Claire. While Claire rejects Rae a lot you can tell that she still likes having Rae around. I would 100% suggest it to anyone wondering if it's good. Also while it is a Yuri the characters don't get all that intimate which I think is another aspect of why I like it. Nothing inappropriate happens. Everyone dresses modestly, and the language is kept clean as well. 

A Playthrough of a Certain Dude's VRMMO Life

After hearing about a new VRMMORPG called "One More Life Online" our main character decides to start not as your typical overpowered main character, but by choosing the skills seen as weak and not necessary. However, while his intention was to blend into the background, this unique play style draws more attention to him. Once people see how useful his crafting skills are many other players begin to craft as well. This involves not only items like potions and weapons, but also cooking as well. By helping people out he gets to know fun players like the blue color guild as well as NPC's like the fairy queen.

A Playthrough of a Certain Dude's VRMMO Life was really wild. It has a similar vibe to Sword Art Online if Lisbeth was the main character. This gives it a really relaxing feeling compared to the intense feeling you get from action focused fantasy anime's like SAO and Overlord. Everybody dresses modestly in the anime. The language is clean as well. Overall if you are wanting to get into fantasy anime this is a great one to start off with. I would definitely suggest it to anyone wondering if it is worth watching. 

Berserk of Gluttony

Everyone is born with a skill in this world, and Fate had the misfortune to be born with the gluttony skill. A skill that makes you perpetually hungry. But one day his world is turned upside down after meeting a sword named Greed who tells him that his gluttony skill can be satisfied if he kills monsters. So Fate buys Greed and Fate becomes a hunter who after killing an inordinate amount of monsters is given the name corpse because the people have mistaken him for a monster himself. Watch as Fate goes on a journey with Greed to go from being someone who was always pushed around, to a Hunter who is strong enough to defeat whatever enemy comes at him.

I really enjoyed this series. Every single episode was entertaining. The world is different from most fantasy anime as well. While magic does exist in this world, it is something you almost never see because you have to have the skill to use it. Fate is Unique because his Gluttony skill allows him to devour the skills of those he has defeated and make them his own. The only other anime that comes to mind for that is Reincarnated as a Sword. There is no fan service in this anime unless you count the way that Myne and Eris dress. There is quite a bit of swearing though. This is one I would definitely suggest if you are looking for a fantasy anime that is different from most of the isekai type fantasies you usually see. Though Berserk of Gluttony isn't an Isekai since Fate was born into this world. 

GIRLS Bravo Season 2

Yukinari, Kirie, Koyami, Tomoki, Miharu, and the Fukuyama siblings return in another season of Girls Bravo. The group decides to go to the pool to have fun, but thanks to Risa's Magic they get into trouble. Thanks to a mishap not only does the group switch bodies, but a giant octopus is summoned as well. Will everyone be able to work together and return things to how they were?

I actually liked the second season of Girls Bravo More than the first. Kirie doesn't punch Yukinari almost at all, which is how friends should be. The girls all develop a relationship where they support each other which I really like. This season had a lot of fan service like the first season did. There is a pool scene, bath scenes, shower scenes, as well as scenes where the girls are dressed in little to no clothing like when the characters play strip mahjong, as well as where Miharu is trapped in a water bubble at the end of the season. It does swear once in this season. While there is a lot of fan service I really like the story and the relationships that the characters build with each other.

Girls Bravo

Yukinari Sasaki is constantly bullied because of his small size. So much so that he has developed a fear and allergy to women. But after suddenly being transported to another world, he meets a girl named Miharu who is kind to him and doesn't give him a rash when she touches him. After going outside on this new planet called Seiren, Yukinari learns that only about ten percent of the planet is comprised of men, so Yukinari is immediately swarmed by women looking for someone to marry. He decides to go back to earth, but when he does he accidentally brings Miharu back with him causing trouble for Seiren. Miharu's sister sends a request to the Seiren government to find her sister. Because of that Yukinari finds a new girl in his bathtub which has worked as a portal between Earth and Seiren. However, she has completely lost her memory except for her name. Will Miharu be able to stay with Yukinari, or will she be forced back home?

I don't often feel bad for the main character of a series, but I definitely do for Yukinari. While his childhood friend Kirie Kojima has a crush on him, she only knows how to solve problems with violence, so Yukinari is constantly getting beat up even by the people who love him. I was actually surprised that he wanted to come back to Earth because of how mistreated he is there. Though being on a planet full of women when you have a fear of women would be hard as well. There is a lot of inappropriate scenes throughout this anime. There are bath scenes, scenes where girls bathe in the river, hot spring scenes, as well as scenes where girls undress. Miharu being from a planet full of women has no idea what you should and shouldn't do in front of a man. So she will undress in front of Yukinari, you also see a guy named Kazuharu break into the girls locker room where girls are changing as well. Everything is censored, but the old animation also makes it seem less real than similar scenes in more modern anime. There is no swearing either.

The Family Circumstances of the Irregular Witch

Alyssa is a two hundred seven year old witch when she discovers an abandoned baby in the forest where she lives. After sensing that the baby has magic she decides to raise it herself. Alyssa names her daughter Viola and trains her to be witch. However, due to their size difference Alyssa is often mistaken for a witch's apprentice since Viola always wears the witch's clothes. Watch the day to day activities of Alyssa, Viola, and the friends they meet along the way.

The Family Circumstances of the Irregular Witch is a good anime that doesn't really follow a story so it is nice if you want to watch it over time since each episode is its own story. It stays pretty clean except for the outfit that Giriko the witch wears is a bit revealing. It also seems to be made for a younger audience since there is a surprising amount of butt jokes. It also teaches a lot of life lessons which I was not expecting. It is different from most of the anime's I have seen, but I still thought it was worth the watch. It kind of reminds me of the storytelling style that Sleepy Princess in the Demon's Castle does. The language stays clean as well.

Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle

Lux Arcadia is a former prince who after his kingdom was destroyed was reduced to a criminal. He gets a job request at a nearby academy where after wandering around he happens to fall through the ceiling and lands in front of the current princess of the New Empire. Seeing as this academy has been exclusively for girls the princess refuses to accept him unless he can beat her in a fight. The headmaster agrees but warns her that Lux has been given the nickname "The Weakest Undefeated". After winning Lux is admitted to the academy where he works to help improve The New Empire by joining the academiy's Chivalric Order, and eventually becoming Princess Lisha's personal knight.

Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle was pretty good. It was similar to Blade dance of the Elementalers and Infinite Stratos. There isn't much swearing. There are like three bath scenes though. Besides that the anime stays clean. The bath scenes are all censored as well. If you like mecha school anime this could be worth a shot.

Date A Live Season 4

While Shido is walking down the street he runs into a lady who has collapsed on the pavement. She introduces herself as Nia Honjo a manga artist who after becoming popular years ago suddenly vanished. After finding out that she hasn't eaten he makes her a meal, and then helps her finish her work to meet her deadline. She then informs him that she is actually a spirit and that their meeting wasn't just chance. She knew about who he is and what he does for Ratatoskr. Up until a month ago she had actually been a captive of DEM and would like to have her powers sealed so that they don't find her. Even though she wants to be sealed and is willing to go on a date, Nia is only able to love in 2d. Will Shido be able to find a way to help Nia regain her faith in humanity, so he can seal her power?

Date A Live Season 4 was better than I remembered. All three arcs are good, but I think that the last one is the most interesting. While Kurumi isn't a new spirit it's fascinating to finally see whats her goal, and what's driving her. This season is kept clean except for a bathing scene, and a scene in the last episode where Kurumi starts to strip. It was really good.  I would definitely suggest it.  

Midori Days

Seiji Sawamura is known to most as "Mad Dog Sawamura" who can defeat anyone with his Demon right hand. But one day he wakes up and in place of his hand is a little girl named Midori. Midori claims that she has had a crush on him since middle school but never had the courage to confess. Not knowing how to fix the situation Seiji goes to her house to see if there's a way to turn her back. But is told to go away. In the mean time he stops skipping school, and wraps bandages around his hand to make it look like he's injured to avoid suspicion. While Midori isn't able to do much she does everything she can to make it so her presence means something, from doing housework to making meals for Seiji. While Midori continues her advances on Seiji it seems like he'll never see her as anything but his right hand. Will Midori be able to get her happily ever after?

I have watched many series where the delinquent character trope is made fun of but never an actual anime where the main character is a delinquent. So this was really interesting to see. While the premise may seem weird, I think it is a pretty cute romantic comedy. I also enjoy the misunderstandings that come from people who find out about Midori and Seiji's secret. my favorite though is when Takamizawa sees Midori and thinks that Seiji is an action figure obsessed otaku. There is a hot spring scene that gets brought back up multiple times, a bath scene, a date scene where the student rep is trying on different swimsuits, as well as scenes where porn magazines can be seen. If you try to avoid ecchi at all cost you can probably skip this one. However, I think the story is unique and cute. It is different from the typical romantic comedy anime that come out today. I would give it a try if you can tolerate the fan service.

Date A Live Season 3

While Shido and the spirits are having dinner together the spacial quake alarm goes off. Shido finds a new spirit dressed up like a witch named Natsume. While trying to get closer to her The AST attack and after Natsume takes them down she sneezes. Believing that Shido had found out her secret Natsume decides to get back at him by shapeshifting into him and doing things to his friends to get them to lower their views about him. But when Origami and Tohka find out its Natsume's doing, Natsume decides to take a different approach. She proposes a game where she impersonates one of Shido's friends and every time he guesses wrong someone he knows will disappear from this world. Will Shido be able to solve the mystery before everyone he knows is gone?

This season has probably been my favorite so far. The last episode is actually really funny. Something I really like is Kurumi's development. There's something about Shido and Kurumi working together that hits different than with the other spirits. You do see Natsume and Origami's spirit armor come off like in previous seasons. There are also two shower scenes one with Yuzuru and one with Origami. The last episode then has a pool scene where everyone is in their swimsuits. I don't believe there was any swearing this season. Overall this season was really good and I think that you should give it a try. Though I would watch the previous seasons to have an idea of whats going on. 

Why the hell are you here, Teacher!?: Thirteenth Period

All four couples had planned for a graduation trip, but unfortunately they forgot to book a place to sleep. The hotel that they were going to stay at only had two rooms available, so Takashi and Hikari offer to stay in a manga cafe while Tachibana and Tanaka get their own hotel. Leaving the main hotel for Sato and Kojima as well as Suzuki and Matsukaze. Watch as these couples jump to conclusions about what their partner is thinking.

This is actually pretty clean compared to some other anime's. you do see Hikari in the shower, as well as Matsukaze and Kojima in the bath together. While the characters are dressed for most of it their minds are in the gutter. Like when Takashi says he wants to sleep, Hikari assumes that he wants to see her undressed since she had previously stated she wanted to stay up all night gaming. I will say that it was enjoyable, but it was uncensored so I am not sure if there is a censored version for the OVA.

My Wife is the Student Council President OVA

As Ui is trying to fix a slanted poster she falls of the ladder and is caught by Hayato. However, catching her caused him to sprain his hand. So to help him with his recovery, Ui helps Hayato take a bath.

Basically the entire thing is fan service except for the first couple minutes. When they set up a poster for a holding hands campaign I was honestly hoping that Hayato would invite Rin to participate and make Ui jealous. But the approach they took for this episode made more sense after Hayato sprained his hand. 

My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog OVA

After seeing that her weight isn't satisfactory Inukai-san decides to take Pochita to the pool for some exercise. Nekotani tags along unaware that it is a doggy pool, but instead of turning back after learning this she decides to stay. With the help of Pochita they decide to do some exercises before getting in the pool. However, a dog starts to chase after Nekotani triggering her fear of dogs, and making her trip into the pool. After that the story goes to the school festival where Inukai-san's class has their dog cafe. After taking a break Pochita and Inukai are met by Usagi Tsukishiro who proposes they walk around together. So the three go to a haunted house where due to both Usagi and Karen's fear, chaos ensues.

Just like in the series these episodes have fan service as well. When they go to the pool both Nekotani and Inukai's swimsuits fall off. When Usagi and Karen are in the haunted house Usagi's bunny suit slips revealing her chest. They do a pretty good job of censoring it so if you liked the main series the story for the two OVA's is good enough to watch in my opinion. Though that is if you are watching the censored version, there is an uncensored version so just be aware of that. It only swears once which is good.

Date A Live Season 2: Kurumi Star Festival

During the Tanabata Festival Kurumi Tokisaki shows up in front of Shido and asks him to go on a date with her. Because of her unpredictable nature Shido wonders what she's really after. However, he decides to accept her request. They go to a show that tells the story of Orihime a girl who is separated from her love and can only see him once a year. After leaving she decides to go to a wedding dress shop where her and Shido take a picture dressed as bride and groom. They then decide to write wishes on Tanzaku, but run into trouble before they can hang it up. Will Kurumi be able to get her wish?

This OVA is completely clean. I actually really like it because it shows a side of Kurumi that you don't really get to see in the series. I also like that it kind of gives you an idea of what it would be like if Kurumi and Shido were actually a couple. I would definitely recommend it.

Date A Live Season 2

While preparing for a class trip the location is suddenly changed with the travel agency saying they would pay for everything if the school allowed a photographer to go with them. That photographer is secretly DEM's best Wizard, and the enemy of Ratatoskr. After getting to the island while wandering on the beach Shido runs into Yuzuru and Kaguya Yamai who are fighting in the air surrounded by tornados. These two have done countless battles from eating contests to musical battles all to see who is better. After seeing Shido they decide to make him the judge of their next contest to see who is more attractive. Seeing this as an opportunity, Reine becomes their coach on how to seduce Shido as well as making preparations for them to appear as transfer students to Shido's class. There is only one catch, once a victor has been decided the loser will disappear. Will Shido find a way to save both of them?

The second season of Date A Live was really good. I think it does a good job of showing how different characters develop. There is a bit of fan service but not too much. There's a few beach episodes, a hot springs scene, as well as the parts where the spirits power is sealed and their spirit armor disappears leaving them exposed. There is a little bit of swearing but not much. As a side note I would watch it in english sub because depending on where you watch it the subtitles for the date choices don't appear if you watch it in the english dub.

Date A Live: Date to Date

Shido goes on a date with Origami in hopes of breaking off their relationship. He tries different things like trying to act like a pervert, wear clothes that some would find unappealing, as well as making her dress and act like a dog. However. a series of misunderstandings makes Origami's love for Shido grow even more. He then goes on a date with Tohka to the arcade where the games have been modified to have Origami's face on the characters. Destroying a digital Origami Tobiichi gives Tohka a bit of satisfaction, but her anxiety remains. Will Shido be able to find out what's bothering her and fix it?

Date to Date is mostly clean except for a part at the very end where you see a picture of Tohka undressed. However it is only shown for about two seconds. The feel of the episode is completely different from the series, but it's also a lot funnier in my opinion. If seeing something like that bothers you you can skip Date to Date since it is not actually part of the main series.

BIKINI WARRIORS: Genkai Toppa, Okite-Yaburi

Right before they finish a battle and the enemy dies, he cast a spell on Dark Elf and Fighter. This spell causes them to lose control of their bodies and pin down mage and Paladin while they are in the middle of the street. After that they start to lick each other causing confusion from the people around them. The spell ends shortly after but paladin is nowhere to be found. Despite mage explaining that this spell was an exchange for the enemies death paladin still believes that she can find him.

I should mention that I watched this and the OVA's out of order. this should be watched between the main series and the OVA's. Just like the OVA's this was an episode demonstrating what exhibitionism is. Because it was just a single episode there wasn't really any story either. I leave it up to you to decide whether to watch it or not.

Bikini Warriors OVA

The Bikini Warriors continue their quest in their search for the legendary bikini armor. On their journey they meet a girl named cleric who decides to help them out. Unfortunately Cleric is bad at healing magic, so she is unable to come through when the team needs it most. Two new villains appear who call themselves black knight and Necromancer. Black knight is constantly thinking of ways to stop The Bikini Warriors, but instead typically gets ignored. It isn't until Necromancer steps in that things get precarious, Will the team have what it takes to continue on their journey, or will Necromancer and Black Knight be too much?

I would avoid this since it is uncensored and contains a lot of fan service. It almost felt like watching a yuri version of Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia. There is also a lot less story than the main series had. However, it was cool to see some new characters introduced. I think that Cleric was a good edition because she definitely made the comedy better in my opinion. I don't think I need to specify the fan service content since the majority of the time they are wearing bikini's.

Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia Specials

Watch as members of Amaterasu are put in different situations which turn into a heart hybrid. some examples are Aine playing the role of a kunoichi that gets captured, Yurishia and Kizuna doing a TV show about different types of fashion and their usefulness, as well as Kizuna playing a thief who stole half of a jewel and tries to get the other half away from Reiri. 

The Special episodes were different than I was expecting, but they were different in a good way. It was cool to see things that weren't in the TV series. one I didn't expect was Himekawa choosing a cat tail and cat ear headband out of a bunch of  outfits. It also explains why she acted the way she did in the show when the simulator put her in a cat outfit. There is a hot springs episode as well, which we didn't get to see in the show. Just like the series every episode has fan service so if you try to stay away from that I would skip this one. Also you would probably only watch it if you had watched the main show so I guess the warning really isn't relevant. 

Armed Girl's Machiavellism

After schools decided that they couldn't deal with Fudo Nomura, they send him to Aichi Coexistence Academy. This is a school where problem students are sent to learn to coexist with society. All he wants to do is to leave and to do that he needs permission from the top five most powerful students at the academy. All the students before him have dressed and acted like girls to avoid being targeted. So When Fudo refuses to do so he earns the wrath of the Five Swords and all the girls that follow them. Will he be able to survive when the whole school is against him?

Armed Girls Machiavellism was different than I was expecting. I misunderstood a review I read and thought that this was about a guy who disguises himself like a girl to blend in. So I assumed it would be something like Onimai or Himegoto. But it was actually the complete opposite. Though I didn't enjoy it at first I started to like the relationships with the students he created by fighting with them. It is also fun to see people who seem cold hearted slowly start to change. There isn't much fan service except a scene where Fudo fights a girl name Satori in the Bath after she framed him to take away his friends.  You do also see the part of the empress's chest after part of her shirt is destroyed in a fight. There isn't much swearing though. If you want something different from you average slice of life high school anime I would give this one a try.

Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia

 Enemies have started invading all over the world. This has caused people to leave their countries to live on islands that travel the sea. After leaving where he grew up because of the experiments his mom did on him, Kizuna Hida is invited back by his sister because of some intel she received anonymously. Kizuna had previously been deemed useless by his mother and thrown away, but his sister tells him that he has the power to make people who use the Heart Hybrid Gear stronger faster than if they recovered on their own. He is then made captain of a team comprising Hayuru Himekawa, Yurishia Farandole, and Aine Chidorigafuchi. The Solution to the problem is to do lewd things together so that their bonds of love increase. However, the team will soon learn a secret about the enemy invading the world which may make it harder to fight. Will the bonds they create be enough to save them?

Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia was pretty good. They did a good job censoring the content. However, that doesn't change the fact that there is a part in every episode where the characters are feeling each other up. The fighting scenes are pretty good. It's what you expect from a mecha anime similar to Infinite Stratos except the characters don't get all defensive when Kizuna sees them undressed, in fact they invite him to join them. There is a bath scene, but most scenes are in either a classroom, or a bedroom, which changes because a machine is made for them that simulates any environment as well as any clothes they want to wear. If you are not a fan of fan service you can skip this, but if you are looking for something with fan service along the lines of Worlds End Harem, but with a better story this could be for you. If you want to see a censored version you can find it on Crunchyroll, if you watch elsewhere you might run into the uncensored version so be aware.

If Her Flag Breaks OVA

Its Christmas Eve and the residents of The Quest Dorm have all gathered together for a Christmas party. They enjoy activities like playing the king game, doing a gift exchange, and each spending some alone time with Souta. While everything seems to be going great Serika discovers Hatate's secret about their shared past but is pulled away by Nanami before things can get out of hand. Will it turn out to be a Christmas that everyone will be satisfied with?

This was actually a really enjoyable episode, and perfect for the holiday season. There was no fan service. The language was also kept clean as well. If you enjoyed the main series I would definitely suggest watching the OVA.

If Her Flag Breaks

After being blamed for a shipwreck on the news Souta Hatate spent his life alone. He rejected those who tried to get close to him because he was convinced everybody who got near him would experience misfortune. Then one day after moving to a new school he meets Nanami Knight Bladefield who says she wants to know his secret. Souta then tells her about an ability he has to see flags that foreshadow future events and knows how to stop them. Then a new girl named Akane appears saying that she wants to be his friend and despite Souta turning her down multiple times she continually asks until he gives up. Akane and Nanami then go visit Souta's place of residence and after seeing it in such disarray they want to fix it up. They get help from the school to rebuild it from the ground up and after learning that you need at least five people to live in a complex to be recognized by the school Akane and Nanami move in with Souta along with his sister Kikuno and their classmate Megumu.

I liked If Her Flag Breaks a lot. I originally watched it because the animation looked similar to My Mental Choices are Interfering with my School Romantic Comedy. While it is a Harem it's completely different from your average Harem anime. In this they become more like a friend group than a Harem. While everybody wants to make Souta happy they also want to enjoy their time with each other. Also Since there is almost no fan service, there is almost no needless punching of the Main Character. There is a beach episode, as well as a Hot Springs scene and a Bathing Scene as well. I would definitely recommend this one to anyone who is curious.

Eiken

After deciding to go to Zashono Academy on a whim Densuke attends his first day at school and trips over Chiharu Shinonome, the most successful girl at the school. Before he can run away Kirika Misono traps him and forces him to be part of the Eiken Club. Both Kirika and Chiharu attend this club as well as others. Everybody tries to help Densuke and Chiharu get together, except for Yuriko Shinonome who tries to seduce Densuke so that they can date. But After a fortune teller tells Densuke he is going to lose something precious to him, he starts to doubt his chances of actually getting together with Chiharu. Will everything turn out all right?

It is hard to explain my feelings about Eiken. It has probably the most fan service I have seen for only two episodes. However, the girls body proportions are so unbelievable, mixed with the old animation that I was left more confused than anything. Don't get me wrong the story is easy to follow and it is cool that basically the whole thing takes place at a festival because festivals are usually short in a full season. However, the characters make it obvious that this would never happen in real life. There are more panty shots than I could count, as well as a dressing room scene, a hot springs scene, and a majority of the time they are dressed in swimsuits. The language is clean though. I would say that while this isn't the worst anime fan service wise you should watch something else unless you have nothing else to watch.

World's End Harem

Reito Mizuhara was a successful medical student until he contracted a disease and was forced to be put in a cold sleep. When he woke up five years later 99.9 percent of the male population had died due to the Male Killer Virus. Now there are only five males left in the world. The UW association has asked that Reito mate with as many women as possible so they can give birth to a new generation that is immune to the virus. However, Reito is determined to stay celibate until he is able to reunite with his childhood friend and crush Erisa who went missing shortly after the virus began to take effect. Instead he is determined to create a vaccine that will cure the virus. But will he be able to do that when the women of the world have their own agenda?

World's End Harem is an interesting watch for sure. I would definitely watch it censored if you decide to. The censoring is done really well so nothing inappropriate is revealed. What's interesting is that it doesn't just follow Reito's life but two other men as well. While Reito chooses to be celibate the other two Kyouji Hino and Shouta Doi decide to enjoy the hand they've been dealt. So there are a lot of scenes in the bedroom, a few shower scenes, a hot spring scene, as well as scenes at the school pool. I would be aware that there is a lot of fan service, which should be obvious given the premise of the show. If you don't like fan service I would skip this one. 

I'm Standing on a Million Lives

Yuusuke Yotsuya had lived a pretty solitary life after being separated from his friends. This was due to him be ostracized after moving to a new place. Consequently Yuu started to hate people, not specific people but humanity as a whole. One day the most popular girl in his class Iu Shindou approaches him and wants to get to know him. Shortly after he is transported to another world along with Iu and her friend Kusue Hakozaki. A man with the top of his head missing informs him that they are to fulfill a quest and once they finish they will be sent back to earth. The quest to fulfill the village chief's wish goes awry when Shindou is eaten by a monster as well as part of Kusue's arm making her unable to wield her sword. Will Yuu be able to protect the village and save his classmates by himself? 

As far as Isekai's go I'm Sanding on a Million Lives definitely stands out. The concept isn't new but everything about it is unique. The fact that they have quests to fulfill in both the world they are sent to and during their life on earth is unique. Also the fact that they can die and come back after thirty seconds so long as one person stays alive is pretty cool. I think people who dislike the overpowered main character trope would enjoy this since the characters start out weak and when they change jobs they go back to level one so they are continually weak, but are able to succeed because even after changing jobs they retain the skills they had from their previous job. There is also no fan service which is good for those who like to avoid it. It does have some swearing though. Overall, I would suggest it if you are looking for an isekai that strays from the standard hero and demon lord storyline.

Absolute Duo

All Exceed are able to transform their soul into the form of a weapon. However, Tor Kokonoe is different because his soul transforms into the shape of a shield and is labeled as an irregular. When he is finally accepted into an academy that trains Exceeds to harness their power, the headmaster tells them to fight the person next to them and whoever loses will be expelled. Unwilling to give up his place he fights his friend and wins. The students remaining are told that everyone will have to find a partner that will become their duo, but until that happens they will be temporarily assigned one. Tor is assigned to a cute girl with with beautiful white hair named Julie. While he was hesitant Tor learns that they have more in common than he expected. 

Absolute Duo was pretty good. It was kind of a mix between Classroom of the Elite and Blade Dance of the Elementalers. There is some swearing but not a lot. There are a lot of shower scenes, a beach episode, a hot springs scene, and a scene where a blond haired girl named Lilith it naked in a lake. If you watch on Crunchyroll a good amount is censored but not all of it. Some might say the harem/fighting school anime type is overdone, but I still believe it is worth a watch if you are into it and don't mind some fan service.
