My One-Hit Kill Sister

After saving a little girl from a car accident Asahi gets sent to another world. However, unlike the games that he has played and the stories he's heard he does not receive any skills that make him overpowered. Just when he thinks he is about to die he calls out for his sister and she appears with so much power it goes off of her status screen. However, in an unfortunate turn of events everybody believes that asahi has saved a village instead of his sister maya. Asahi learns soon after that faking your rank is a crime. Will Asahi be able to convince everyone that he is a hero or will his secret be revealed that his sister is the one doing all the work?

I really liked My one-hit kill sister. While it wasn't the best Isekai I have seen, it was still very enjoyable. My one-hit kill sister actually did the harem how I like it. Everybody loves Asahi despite his flaws, and they don't try and interfere with each other. The dynamic in the group was really good. While some may consider Maya to be an over the top brocon, Asahi doesn't make it weird, but still shows that he loves and appreciates Maya in his own way. Maya also isn't so overprotective that she pushes everyone away, she actually accepts people into the group if they show respect and admiration for Asahi. While the focus stays on Asahi, Maya, and Kilmaria, I do wish that Kuon, Gloria, and Sophie had more screen time. I think that they all had charming personalities. You want Sophie to be by his side because of how kind she is, then there is Kuon who in a group of fangirls, she is the only one who talks to Asahi like a normal person, and I think that she makes a cool friend because of that. Even though Gloria is so in love she can't think straight around Asahi she still acts like a hero when it really counts. The swearing wasn't super noticeable to me. I think I only saw it swear once or twice. Kilmaria and Maya both wear outfits that are extremely revealing throughout the show. There is also a beach episode, and a bath scene. If you are fine with that then I would suggest giving it a try.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2

After the confrontation with his father Lelouch lives his life like he did before the black knights. He believes that the black knights lost and that he has been spending time with his brother and the student council. He soon realizes that memories have been erased and his mind has been implanted with new ones. He also wasn't the only one affected, everybody on the student council seems to have their minds erased and had new memories implanted as well. While Lelouch may have gotten his memories back he is aware that he is being constantly watched, and so he acts in a way that makes others believe he still is unaware of the truth. Will Lelouch be able to regather the black knights and continue zero's legacy all while keeping the kingdom unaware of his plans?

I really liked the second season of Code Geass. It gets more intense than the first season. You see how when you don't need to a Geass in order to switch sides. If you find that your ideals are in line with your enemy's following them is a simple task. There is some swearing, but it is not too bad. There are a number of inappropriate parts. In the first episode you see Kallen along with three other girls in revealing bunny suits. There is a shower scene with the girls from the student council as well. While it is censored they didn't do a very good job so you can see their bodies. C.C. is also seen without clothes as you see her backstory where she is betrayed by someone she knew. I would suggest it since the story is entertaining. However, if you don't like the ecchi genre or the mecha genre I would skip this one.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion

Lelouch Lamprogue is a man who the world has turned their back on. For many years he has had a plan to get back at the people who took everything away from him. However, it wasn't until he met a girl named C.C. who gifted him a power called Geass that he was truly able to start his mission. The first thing he does is find a group of people who have decided to rebel against the government, and gain their trust by bringing them victory in what seemed to be a hopeless battle. Together Lelouch became Zero and his followers became the black knights. Will everyone be able to create the world that they desire?

Code Geass is very unique in that it focuses on one man trying to overthrow a country that has obtained control of about one third of the world. Typically someday wants to get revenge on one person or a small organization. There is quite a bit of swearing throughout the season. There are two or three shower scenes, but aside from that everyone wears modest clothing. Overall it was a lot better than I was expecting especially since I don't watch a lot of mecha anime. I would suggest it to anyone that is interested.

In Another World With My Smartphone

Touya Mochizuki dies and is sent to another world. Before being sent over he is asked if there is anything he desires and Touya asks that his smartphone will work in this new world. He is also given all the basics of magic and the ability to learn with ease. After coming to the new world he meets two girls who are cornered and easily defeats the ones threatening them. Elze and Lindze thank Touya and they decide to become an adventuring party. Together Elze and Lindze help Touya learn more about this world he has stumbled into all while helping those who need it.

To be perfectly honest In Another World with my Smartphone wasn't all the great to me. There were some things that I liked about it. Particularly the character Yae Kokonoe. She reminds me of Tohka from Date A Live, but it doesn't have the same vibe as a whole. Also characters like the white Monarch and Black Monarch was another good point about the show. I think it is great when there are relationships like that. Sort of like the relationship between Fran and Teacher in Reincarnated as a sword. But In Another world with my smartphone couldn't decide between being your average Isekai or a slow life kind of in the same way I've Somehow Gotten Stronger when I Improved my Farm-Related Skills. However, the characters in I've Somehow Gotten Stronger have unique personalities, while the majority of characters in this don't. There are multiple things that should label this as an ecchi even though its not. There is a beach scene, slimes that melt the girls clothes (though not completely), there is also a girl named Francesca who is sex obsessed and even has a kiss scene where their tongues touch each other. There is also the typical guy stumbles in on girls undressing scene. Overall It was more of a harem anime than anything else. I'm not opposed to harems, but they just didn't do it right in my opinion. the swearing is kept to a minimum. I believe it only swears twice. I wouldn't suggest it personally, but if you don't mind what I have mentioned, and think you might like it, go ahead and give it a try.

A Galaxy Next Door

While he is desperately trying to finish his latest manga Ichiro Kuga is able to find an assistant. She is able to complete the work he needs her to with ease despite only drawing for less than a year. They pull an all nighter and are able to finish on time. However, being half asleep kuga-san believes he sees something stuck in the side of Shiori Goshiki and tries to get it out, only to find that touching another person only happens after people are married where Goshiki-san comes from. So she decides that they should date with marriage in mind.

A Galaxy Next Door was an interesting watch. The language is clean throughout it. I don't think I heard it swear once. Everybody dresses modestly throughout the anime. While there is a hot spring scene they Goshiki-san stays around shoulder level in so nothing immodest is revealed.

How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom Season 2

Kazuya Souma continues to do his best to make the kingdom of Elfrieden better every single day. However, trouble arises aside from war. Kazuya needs to find solutions to stop the slave trade, find a way to help refugees, as well as consider punishment for those who have betrayed the kingdom. not only that but the country of Amidonia desires him as their king after a deal is made and Julius is given back the city of Van. Will he be able to juggle it all?

I thought that this was a great season. It transitioned really well from season 1. While King Souma does develop a harem, it functions differently than your typical harem because he asks the others permission so that there are no hurt feelings and everyone gets along. That said there are two scenes that are mildly inappropriate. In the first one ,Aisha and Liscia come into Kazuya's room in just their bathrobes and get in bed with him. In another scene Kazuya and Roroa are found in bed together. However, they are both wearing their clothes. Juna and excel still wear clothes with cleavage as well, but besides that the outfits are kept modest. There is minimal swearing throughout the season. I only noticed it happen once.

Princess Connect! Re:Dive Season 2

The members of the Gourmet Guild are back. This time they hear from the guild that there is a legendary spice called "Drops of the sea". But because the source is questionable Karin cant give it as an official quest and instead gives the map to Kokkoro thinking that the Gourmet Guild might be interested. As they set off on this adventure they wander into a Coral Forest where fish fly through the sky, so after days of eating only fish, Karyl complains that there is not enough meat. Thankfully Pecorine and Yuki are able to find some and cook it up, only to end up poisoned. While all four of them lay incapacitated and are surrounded by the beasts the meat came from. They are saved by a man who was nearby and knew of the effects that came from eating the monsters. He helps them find their way to the drops of the sea so they can continue their adventures. What mischief and mayhem will the Gourmet Guild run into next?

Princess Connect Re:Dive was exactly what I needed. Just like in the first season all the characters were fantastic. Aoi made me laugh so hard with her social awkwardness. Also the friendship you feel with the characters just filled a hole in my heart I didn't know I had.  I would definitely suggest it. There are some characters that wear revealing clothing, but they only appear a few times. There is some swearing but it isn't bad until the last few episodes. While some may think that this is just another Isekai, it is not. While the characters do use magic and powers they don't give off overpowered Main Character vibes. It is also not a harem despite it being a group of all girls and one boy. Karyl and Pecorine both say that Yuki is like a little brother to them. I have also done a review on the first season which you can find by searching princess connect in the search box.

TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You Season 2

Nasa and Tsukasa have been married and living at the bathhouse for awhile yet every day feels like a new adventure. Nasa reunites with more people from his past as well as meeting someone connected with Tsukasa's. With the help of kaname, Nasa and Tsukasa are able to go to places like an amusement park and a fancy hot springs. With each new experience the happy couple grows a little closer, all while trying to share their happiness with the people around them.

This new season was pretty good. I wish that Chitose was more involved in this season. While she did appear multiple times she was a lot more passive than she was in the first season. I did like the new places that they visited. The camping arc was really good, and the amusement park held a surprising resemblance to Disneyland, but that just made the experience feel more relatable. There was some swearing here and there but it wasn't that noticeable. While nobody wore inappropriate clothing, a fair amount takes place in the water since they live in a bathhouse as well as their trip to the hot springs. during those scenes the characters bodies are submerged in water, so you don't see anything inappropriate. I would say there is only one part near the end that is inappropriate. Nasa is reflecting on the things that have happened in his life and the screen shows him lying down without any clothes on. Overall I would definitely suggest it if you liked the first season, and if you haven't seen the first season you should watch that as well.

My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999

After Akane Kinoshita goes through a breakup do to her boyfriends cheating she tries to find a way to feel better and learns about an event for the MMO she's currently playing. She knows her boyfriend will be there so she tries to do everything she can to make him jealous. However, after tripping and getting hurt she meets Akito Yamada who helps her by listening to her problems and taking care after she drinks too much. After that Akane finds reasons to see Yamada more and more. Will she be able to capture his heart?

My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Level 999 was similar to Recovery of an MMO Junkie. However, this takes place mostly in the real world than in the game world. There are scenes showing her in the game but they are pretty short. The language is really clean. I believe that it only swears once in the first few episodes. Everybody also stays modest throughout the show so you don't have to worry about fan service.  I would suggest giving this one a try if you are looking for a new romance to watch.
