Shoko Komi is a young woman with severe social anxiety. Because of her difficulty in talking with people she has always failed to make friends until she meets Hitohito Tadano, who is able to understand what she is thinking. Komi then tells him about her goal to make one hundred friends. Without thinking Tadano tells Komi that he will help her with her goal. Together they talk to their classmates and start to do things outside of school that draws them closer.
Komi Can't Communicate is a really wholesome anime. I believe it only swears around five times. The anime keeps things modest except for one or two episodes where you see the characters in swimsuits. I would definitely suggest it if you want to see a cute slice of life anime.
