The Duke of Death and His Maid Season 2

One day, when Cuff comes over to the Villa, she decides to show off her fire magic. However, despite it being the middle of winter the fire makes the mansion hot and humid. So Cuff decides to pull out a magical bathtub which changes sizes to cool off. Meanwhile Daleth says that she plans to help the duke get rid of his curse in exchange for Zain's Time Magic.

The Duke of Death and His Maid Season 2 was just as good as Season 1. It had a fun lighthearted feeling to it, despite it being about a man who kills anything he touches. While Season 2 does have a pool and Hot Springs scene it remains mostly clean. There is one character who walks around in a swimsuit though. Anyway if you are looking for a fun and unique romance anime, I would suggest giving The Duke of Death and His Maid a try.

Shangri-La Frontier Season 2

In order to use the equipment Sunraku, Oikatzo, and Arthur Pencilgon got from defeating Wethermon they need a blacksmith that can fix divinity age weapons. Bilac says that only an Ancient Blacksmith is able to work with things from the divinity age. so Sunraku hatches a plan to turn Bilac into an Ancient Blacksmith. However, on his way to do that, Oikatzo and Arthur Pencilgon follow him to an ancient facility that is guarded by golems. Will they be able to defeat their enemies and find the Magical Operations Unit required to turn Bilac from a regular Blacksmith to an Ancient Blacksmith?

I really enjoyed Shangri-La Frontier Season 2. New Characters are introduced as well as old ones from the first season start becoming more involved. There is minimal swearing throughout the season and everybody dresses modestly. If you want a good fantasy anime, I would suggest giving this one a try.

Deaimon: Recipe for Happiness

After hearing that his dad has injured his back, Nagomu Irino moves back home with the intention of taking over the family business. However, after being gone for ten years, he isn't given the warmest welcome. Nagomu's dad tells him that he already has a successor to the Sweets Shop he runs. Nagomu finds out that it's a little girl named Itsuka Yukihira. Itsuka was dropped off at the sweets shop while Nagomu was gone by her father after her mother left the two of them. Itsuka has been working to become the next owner of Rokyuusho which all that hard work makes her see Nagomu as irresponsible despite being the owner's son. Will Itsuka and Nagomu ever get to be on good terms?

Deaimon: Recipe for Happiness was pretty slow. I watched it because I was hoping it would be a fun food anime like Sweetness & Lightning. However, it didn't meet my expectations. What was weird was that Nagomu's mom asks him to be like a father to her. This premise can be pulled off well like in Buddy Daddies and The Yakuza's Guid to Babysitting, but it didn't manage to do that either. The problem is Nagomu tries too hard to fit that roll, that he ends up messing it up. They feel more like a brother and Sister, rather than a father and daughter. The anime is mostly clean. There is a pool scene where you see the characters in swimsuits, but besides that everyone dresses modestly. If you like Slice of Life anime's about food, I would give this one a try. 

My Dress-Up Darling

Wakana Gojo wants to be a Kashirashi or Hina Doll Maker. Wakana didn't mind that he spent all his time making Hina dolls until his grandpa asks if he has any friends. Wakana claims that he does, but their schedules don't align so he never sees them. One day while Wakana is using the schools sewing machine the most popular girl in his class Marin Kitagawa catches him. She tells him that it is her dream to cosplay her favorite characters from games that she plays and anime's that she watches. She then asks if he can help her sew an outfit. While Wakana has never tried making clothes for a human before, he agrees to help her.

My Dress-Up Darling was pretty good. However, I don't think it is as good as people make it out to be though. It feels kind of like 2.5 dimensional Seduction except that Marin knows almost nothing about cosplaying while Ririsa is multi-talented at knowing her characters as well as making the outfits herself. It was still enjoyable to watch. There was quite a bit of fan service such as a beach episode, a bath scene, and multiple times where you see marin in her underwear or other revealing clothes. If you like Romance anime and don't mind the Ecchi genre, give it a try.

Magic Maker: How to Make Magic in Another World

In his past life, Shion was obsessed with magic. He stayed single until he was thirty because he heard that if you are still a virgin at thirty you become a wizard. However, he had no such luck after trying incantations of all kinds. He falls asleep and wakes up in another world. While this is a fantasy world no one in this world has ever heard of magic. while he is disappointed to hear this he continues his search for any signs of magic. Then one day he gets what he wants after his sister Marie mentions that she has seen floating lights above a lake near their house and wonders if this is the magic Shion desired.

Magic Maker: How to Make Magic in Another World was pretty slow starting out. But around episode 5 it starts to get really good. While it was cool to see Shion create magic, I was hoping it would be a quicker process. The anime stays pretty clean, however, there is a bath scene in it. If you are curious about how magic is developed you can give it a try. Though if you are a fan of your average isekai just know that it doesn't become like that until around episode 6.

The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World

During a fight on Earth, Togo Asagaki sacrifices himself in order to save his team, Kizuna Five. He is transported to Another world, where, after becoming an adventurer, he meets a girl known as Yihdora Arvoln. Yihdora was looking for people strong enough to stand against her magic. After seeing Togo in action she joins his adventuring party.

The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World was pretty fun to watch. It reminded me a little of Love after World Domination, since both have a power rangers theme. It also gives a new feel to fantasy anime's combining the magic you usually see in adventuring animes along with a mecha anime feel. It does have a bath scene in it. Yihdora's outfit is also pretty revealing. If you don't care about fan service, and enjoy anime's with adventurers, I would give it a try. 

Sweetness & Lightning

Kouhei Inuzuka is a high school teacher who recently lost his wife. He does his best to take care of his daughter Tsumugi, but doesn't ever cook. While walking through the park they see a girl crying as she is eating. After learning that her mom didn't show up to eat with her she gives Kouhei and Tsumugi a business card for her mom's restaurant. One night when Tsumugi is hungry, Kouhei calls the number on the card and goes to the restaurant. They find Kotori Iida alone when they finally arrive. She tells them that her mom is currently out but she will do her best to make rice for them. After eating Kouhei promises to start cooking  and upon hearing that Kotori asks if they would mind cooking from time to time with her since her mom is almost always gone. Tsumugi and Kouhei agree to her request, and both do their best to learn to cook together.

Sweetness & Lightning was a fun anime about food. I always enjoy these types of anime. It kind of resembles Restaurant to Another World but without the fantasy characters and it takes place in a home instead of a restaurant. The anime has a wholesome feeling and is devoid of any fan service and swearing. If you enjoy anime's about cooking I would suggest giving Sweetness & Lightning a try.

Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable!

Tsubasa Shiki has just moved from Tokyo to Hokkaido. On the way to his new house he stops the cab and gets out, thinking that it will only be a short walk to his new home. In the snow he runs into Minami Fuyuki who tells him that the place he wants to go to is actually three hours away if you walk. So he stays with her as he waits for the bus to come. He learns that Minami actually attends the same school that he will be transferring to. When he goes to school the following day he learns that they are actually seat neighbors in the same class.

I went into this with super low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. The first few episodes made it look like it was going to be a romance with a single couple, but it turned into a Harem anime. However, Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable didn't make one of the mistakes that I dislike about Harem anime and that's the girls fighting between each other. It did make the second mistake that a lot of Harems have and that is that there was no romantic progression. I would have liked to have seen Minami and Tsubasa at least hold hands. It was mostly visually clean, but there was a bath scene and a shower scene. Anyway if some minor fan service doesn't bother you, I think it is worth giving a try.

OKITSURA: Fell in Love with an Okinawan Girl, but I Just Wish I Knew What She's Saying

Teruaki Nakamura recently moved from Tokyo to Okinawa and fell in love. However, the girl he fell for, Hina Kyan, has such a thick accent that he can't understand her. Luckily, Hina's friend, Kana Higa is willing to translate the local dialect into modern Japanese for him. As Kana helps Teruaki he doesn't just learn the dialect, but also learns about the culture and mannerisms of the citizens of Okinawa.

Okitsura: Fell in Love with an Okinawan Girl, but I Just Wish I Knew What She's Saying was better than I was expecting. I did wish that Teruaki would become interested in Kana instead of Hina but then they would need to change the title. It was fun learning things about Okinawa that I never would have guessed existed. It kind of reminds me a little of Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian with the whole language barrier thing. Despite the whole anime taking place near the beach, everybody dresses modestly. its honestly a good romance with no fan service at all. If you enjoy the Romantic Comedy genre of anime, I would definitely suggest checking Okitsura out.

Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf!

Ever since he was little, Kazuhiro Kitase has been able to travel to a fantasy world when he is sleeping. Throughout the years he has become proficient at fighting and escaping. One day, when he is visiting a Dungeon with his friend Marie, they run into an Arkdragon. The Arkdragon attempts to burn them with her fire breath, but instead Marie wakes up in Kazuhiro's apartment in Tokyo. Now Kazuhiro wants to show her what this world without magic has to offer.

Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf! was a surprisingly enjoyable anime. I didn't really have any expectations going into it, but I think this is what I originally wanted out of Uncle From Another World. It kind of feels like Saving 80,000 Gold for my Retirement with the whole going back and forth between Earth and a fantasy world. There is a fair bit of fan service. When Marie and Wridra both wake up in Kazuhiro's apartment they appear without any clothes on. Also there are multiple hot springs and bath scenes. It is a cute romance anime though. I would suggest giving it a try if you don't mind the isekai and slice of life genres.

Toilet-bound Hanako-kun Season 2

Nene, Kou, and Hanako are back! When Nene's friend Aoi shares a rumor about three guardians that can control time, she dismisses it as being too unrealistic. However, when she walks into her classroom everything has either rotted away or turned to dust. Even the plant that Nene brought that morning had turned into a full blown tree. It's almost as if someone had turned time forward. While most of the lunches had gone bad Nene's and Aoi's were perfectly fine. This leads Hanako-kun and Nene to believe that Aoi might secretly be a school wonder.

Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun Season 2 started off really strong, but it became hard to keep watching after episode 6. I still think that this series is way better than some other anime's despite it being a little slow near the middle. The clock keepers arc was really good as well as the episode where Hanako, Nene, and Kou visit an otherworldly summer festival. I would definitely suggest giving it a watch if you haven't already.

The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World

Keniichi Hamada is summoned one day to another world. All he's left with is the ability to purchase items from his world using the online store Shangri-la. Rather than lose hope because he's not overpowered, he decided to become a merchant and live his ideal slow life. He travels to a town called Dahlia where he sets up his first stall. It is there he meets a girl named Primulla who is the daughter of the head of the Mallow trading company. This starts off a wonderful business relationship between the two merchants.

Now that the summary is over I can finally say what I want. The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World made me uncomfortable as heck. I have no problems with harems, but it felt like every single female character was throwing themselves at this forty year old man. This of course involves the adolescent girls. Now age difference has never really bothered me when it comes to anime. However, a forty year old and ten year old couple is too much for me. I also didn't like that Primulla turns into a stalker halfway through and then Keniichi decides to go and marry her anyway. It was kind of like a rip off of Campfire Cooking in Another World. Also every single episode has a bath scene. So I would suggest staying away from this one.  

Ameku M.D.: Doctor Detective

Takao Ameku is the head of the Investigative Pathology Division at Tenikai Hospital. She goes around solving mysteries that are caused by unknown medical problems. She is helped by her assistant Yu Takanashi who she refers to as Kotori. However, due to her inability to read the room and solve everything using logic she is often disliked by members of the hospital staff. But that won't stop her from helping everyone she can, even if she has to be insensitive to do it.

Ameku M.D.: Doctor Detective is actually a really fun anime. I enjoyed that all the mysteries revolved around medical illnesses. It kind of felt like Ron Kamonohashi's Forbidden Deductions if he was a doctor instead of a detective. If you enjoy other medical anime's such as Parallel World Pharmacy and Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady with the Lamp, I would suggest giving it a try.
