Seven Mortal Sins

After falling from Heaven, Lucifer ends up in the ninth ring of hell, Cocyutus. It is there she meets the Demon Lord of Envy, Leviathan. Leviathan instantly takes a liking to lucifer and tells her about the demon lords who rule over hell known as the seven Mortal Sins. Lucifer approaches them confident that she's stronger than all of them, but rather than beating them her wings are cut off and she turns into a demon Lord herself. Rather than let this get her down she heads to Earth along with Leviathan where they meet a human named Maria. They rent out a place on Earth, but that night Lucifer learns that she has been cursed, and the only way to lift the curse is to defeat every one of the Seven Mortal Sins.

Seven Mortal Sins was interesting. I really liked how fighting the mortal sins wasn't just physical. For example When Lucifer fights the Demon Lord of Sloth her goal is to beat a video game. When She fights the Demon Lord of Melancholy she does it by becoming a music artist and seeing who can get more follows on their videos. My Favorite Character has to be The Demon Lord of Gluttony though. She's so small and nice. As you can probably tell from the photo there is a lot of ecchi content. This is an anime where I think they could have done a good job without the girls clothes exploding almost every episode. So if you decide to watch it be aware that its uncensored.

Teekyuu Season 5

The Tennis Club wins tickets to go to Cambodia at a market lottery. Yuri, Bandou, and Nasuno want to learn how to cook sweet potatoes, but Kanae keeps rescheduling. Udonko and Tomarin get abducted by aliens, and return back to earth to find that Bandou has been arrested.

Teekyuu Season 5 was fun. There is a pantybshot when Yuri climbs up a tree to save a cat, but besides that the visuals are clean. Their is some swearing in the first episode, but the rest of the season's language is clean. If you liked the first four seasons of Teekyuu, Season 5 is just as good.

Mission: Yozakura Family

Taiyo Asano lost his family in a car crash and has since been unable to talk to anyone. The only one who is able to get him to talk is his childhood friend Mutsumi Yozakura. Though after seeing how close Taiyo is with Mutsumi, Taiyo is targeted and threatened by a teacher who tells him that he has threatened every guy who ever came near Mutsumi and he isn't afraid to do the same to him. As the teacher pulls a knife out of his pocket Taiyo is saved by a white haired girl in a white dress who brings him to a mansion. She tells Taiyo that the teacher he ran into is actually Mutsumi's oldest brother Kyoichiro Yozakura, who is an extremely talented spy. She says that while Kyoichiro is willing to go to extreme's to protect Mutsumi, there is one rule that he definitely won't break, and thats killing a member of the family. So Futaba suggests that Taiyo Marries Mutsumi which will make him part of the family and by extent save his life.

Mission: Yozakura Family was a lot of fun to watch. I haven't seen all that many spy themed anime, which made this one really cool for me. It felt a little bit like Castle Town Dandelion since both revolve around a family where everyone has a super power of some sort. near the end it started to feel a little bit like a sci-fi version of demon slayer. There is a hot springs episode around episode 18, but besides that everyone dresses modestly and the language stays clean. I would definitely suggest watching it if you get the chance.

The Testament of Sister New Devil DEPARTURES

Basara, Mio, Maria, Zest, and Kurumi all just finished their business in the demon realm and have arrived home. While Basara is bathing, Maria sneaks in an aphrodisiac which causes all sorts of problems. To punish her for this he ties her up in the kitchen. Zest decides to make breakfast since Maria is all tied up at the moment. Not long after the table is set and the food is out a commercial for a water park appears on the tv. While most of the group thinks its bad to go to the pool during winter, Maria sees it as a chance to strengthen their bond. Though everybody knows she has ulterior motives Basara claims that he would like to go, so everyone agrees.

The Testament of Sister New Devil DEPARTURES followed the same pattern as the rest of the series. Surprisingly DEPARTURES covers almost all of the fan service tropes in its hour long episode. So there is a bath scene, a shower scene, a pool scene, and a hot springs scene. While I understand why people would not want to watch it, I was happy with the ending. Though you don't see a ceremony or anything, Basara gets married. I love romance anime where the relationship actually progresses. If you have seen the rest of the series and enjoyed it, I think DEPARTURES is worth giving a watch. Though I understand that this series is not for everyone, so you can decide whether or not to watch it for yourself.

Rokudo's Bad Girls

Tousuke Rokudo has been bullied for as long as he can remember. His only wish is to have a happy school life with his friends Chief and Colonel. Unfortunately he goes to a school that's full of delinquents. One day while trying to figure out what to do about being bullied day after day Rokudo receives a package from his grandpa who has been dead for years. All thats in there is a message saying that Rokudo will soon be in danger as well as a scroll. He opens the scroll and a magic symbol appears on his forehead. This scroll has the power to make any bad girl instantly fall in love with him. With this the bullying lessens but still goes on. Finally Rokudo decides to take a stand against Haruya Iinuma who has been causing the most problems for him. While he continuously took a beating, Rokudo stood his ground and Haruya acknowledges his strength.

Rokudo's Bad Girls was a lot more fun than I was expecting. I haven't seen hardly any anime where the school has delinquents in it, so this was a really cool experience for me. I also like how even though Rokudo doesn't like to fight he still ends up becoming friends with delinquents. It kind of feels like he has a gang of his own. The majority of the anime is clean, however there is a fight scene in episode 11 where one of the bad girls gets into a revealing outfit and starts trying to crush Rokudo. Overall, I think that the anime was really good. It was the first harem anime I've seen where the protagonist doesn't actually want a harem. I would definitely suggest giving it a try.

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin

Sakuna is the daughter of the war god Takeribi and the harvest goddess Toyohana. However, she never met them and all she was left with was rice her mother had grown, her divine raiment, and half of her father's blade which took the form of a dog after breaking. She offered her mothers rice once a year to live in the capital of the lofty realm where the gods reside. There she spent her time drinking, sleeping, and playing rather than accomplishing anything. One day a group of humans from the lowly realm wander into the lofty realm. Sakuna tells them to turn back, and then leaves. She later figures out that they didn't heed her words and now the bridge of heaven which connects the two realms has disappeared trapping them in the lofty realm. After a series of mistakes in her attempts to hide the humans, Sakuna ends up blowing up the warehouse where her mothers rice was stored. the head god of the lofty realm Kamihitsuki sends Sakuna along with humans to Hinoe island as punishment. Kamihitsuki tells Sakuna that Hinoe Island is full of demons and their numbers continue to grow. Her new job is to find out why that's happening and to take care of it.

I wasn't expecting much when I started Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, but I was pleasantly surprised by the anime. While there are other anime that revolve around farming such as Farming Life in Another World and I've Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved My Farm-related Skills, Of Rice and Ruin felt like a more authentic experience. The anime revolves around rice farming and every episode you learn different aspects of the work that goes into making rice. It also has a good fantasy storyline which keeps the anime interesting. If you like slow life type fantasy anime I would definitely suggest giving this one a try.

Rescue ME!

After his parents leave overseas for work, Masayuki Mizutani has the whole house to himself...or so he thought. When he comes home Sayaka Shimizu is waiting for him in an apron. She tells him that his parents hired her and now she is his personal maid. While Masayuki just wants to have a peaceful life, Sayaka is determined to win Masayuki over...no matter what methods she has to use.

Rescue ME! was like watching a season of anime in one episode. It kept the popular tropes like the beach episode and hot springs episode while also introducing the characters in a natural way that doesn't feel rushed. It was actually pretty well done for a stand alone ova. The downside is that the entire episode is full of fan service. I wouldn't suggest this to anyone unless they specifically ask about it.

Wakakozake

Wakako Murasaki's favorite thing to do after a long day at work is to go to different restaurants and try their food. She doesn't eat everything all at once, but tries to experience each flavor that goes into the food, along with a tasty drink.

Wakakozake is pretty similar to Love is Like a Cocktail in the sense that both revolve around a character enjoying drinking after a long day at work. But Where the two differ is Wakakozake focuses more on the meal she is eating rather than the drink. It was pretty fun to watch. While it is two minutes like Teekyuu the character speaks at a slow pace which was kind of a nice change. If you like short anime's I would suggest giving Wakakozake a try.

Teekyuu Season 4

Marimo Bandou introduces her friend Tomarin to the rest of the tennis club. Tomarin tries to convince everyone that she's an alien from another planet but no one believes her. Udonko Kondo from the newspaper club asks for Yuri's help in determining if a rumor she heard is true. Supposedly there is a cherry tree where if someone is confessed to under it their body is found buried under it the next day. So Udonko confesses her love for Yuri to see if the legend proves to be true. The Tennis club goes to the beach where they end up drifting off to sea.

Teekyuu Season 4 was a fun ride. The season stayed mostly clean, but there were two beach episodes where you see the girls in swimsuits. If you enjoyed the first three seasons of Teekyuu I would suggest giving Season 4 a try.

Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest Season 3

As Hajime and his classmates ride in his newly formed airship they see a group of rabbits being pursued by imperial soldiers. However, rather than getting caught they lure the soldiers into a trap and attack them. Hajime, Shea, and Yue recognize them as Shea's family and the same bunny's that Hajime trained to be strong back when he first met Shea. He lands his ship and after talking with the bunnies, they learn that Shea's dad along with a group of other bunnies from her clan have disappeared after illegally entering the empire. Hajime, Shea, and Yue find out where Shea's dad and friends are being held and release them from prison.

Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest Season 3 was far better than I was expecting. Some viewers complained about the animation and the length of the time in the labyrinths, but I though both were great. I couldn't really tell a difference in the animation. I don't typically notice that type of thing, but if I do notice, it has to be blatantly clear like what happened in Demon Lord, Retry Season 1 & 2. There are some inappropriate jokes in this season, but for the most part its clean. There is a bit of swearing in it as well. However, if you enjoyed the first and second season I would definitely give season three a try as well.

Teekyuu Season 3

The girls walk home during a rainy day. They try to find a way to all get home dry. Someone suggest spreading Yuri out super thin so that they can all be covered. In the end they all get drenched and stay at Kanae's house where the power goes out. Nasuno gets approached by thugs and is saved by a boy named Yota. The girls also learn that a cake shop is deeply in debt and they try to help by creating different cakes of their own.

Teekyuu Season 3 was just as chaotic as Seasons 1 and 2. I did laugh super hard during this season though. In the end of the anime the girls study for a test and Kanae does her best to teach them. But her method of doing so is hilarious, especially the math problems she gives them. There is a bath scene but its brief in episode two. Besides that the anime stays clean in both visuals and language. If you liked seasons 1 and 2 I would suggest giving Season 3 a try.

Haiyoru! Nyaruani: Remember My Mr. Lovecraft

Two more of Nyaruko's friends from space join her and Mahiro on Earth. Kuko tries getting a job, but ends up messing up all the tasks that are given to her.

Haiyoru! Nyaruani: Remember My Mr. Lovecraft was a bit more confusing than the original shorts. There also seemed to be a lot more wasted time in these episodes. Each episode has a random scene at the end similar to what in Anime Kapibarasan. Though Anime Kapibarasan kept it interesting by giving you random facts about Capybaras. With this the ending scenes felt totally unrelated to the storyline. The language is mostly clean, and everybody dresses modestly. If it sounds interesting, feel free to give it a try.

Haiyoru! Nyaruani

Mahiro and Nyaruko participate in various activities. Some of these include cooking, role playing games, storytelling, and pillowcase making. Mahiro and Nyaruko also advertise their own manga.

Haiyoru! Nyaruani kind of reminded me of Dropkick on My Devil! While there is far less violence in this one. They both share the trait of a lazy girl staying with a human and occasionally getting attacked. While there wasn't much humor throughout the shorts, I did laugh once. I should mention that I haven't watched the actual series yet, but I was still able to understand most of what was going on. If it sounds interesting, it might be worth a try.

Nina the Starry Bride

Nina grew up on the streets scavenging for food in hoops of living another day. Unable to get medicine one of her friends who lived with her died. her other friend left her all alone to fend for herself. She was soon found by the kingdoms soldiers. After seeing her bright blue eyes that looked just like the previous princess's, they decide to take her in and replace her as the new princess Alisha, Priestess of the stars.

Nina the Starry Bride was very painful to watch. I think Nina's personality annoys me. The beginning was fun to watch. I think it could have been good if she had stayed in Fortna and trained to become the new princess. Instead they send her off to another country to get married to a prince who kills people for fun. I know it's in the title that she becomes a bride, but they could have made her personality and attitude a bit more mature. I suppose a number of things ticked me off about the anime, but I finally managed to finish it. The entire anime was clean. There was no swearing and no fan service at all. I wouldn't suggest this one because I didn't like it, but if it sounds interesting, you can give it a try.

BOKUBEN: We Never Learn OVAs

While Nariyuki, Fumino, Rizu, and Uruka are all studying in a cafe. the manager of the massage shop passes by. She tells the group that she has passed her previous store to someone else and is now opening up a bridal shop. But before she can do that she is holding a bridal fair so she can take pictures for advertising. She then invites the group to come and check it out. Right as she says that Asumi pops up and says it sounds interesting and is promptly invited as well. But before they attend Rizu wants to know the reason people get married, so she asks Sawako Sekijo for help. But when she tells Sawako that she wants to talk about marriage, Sawako mistakes it as a proposal.

Bokuben: We Never Learn OVA's were really fun to watch. It kind of reminded me of the OVA from Date A Live where Kurumi and Shido go to a bridal shop and get their picture taken. However, the group didn't need to tell a sob story to get in. If you enjoyed the main series I would suggest giving the OVA's a try as well.

BOKUBEN: We Never Learn! Season 2

Nariyuki, Fumino, Uruka, and Rizu all have cram school now that summer has arrived. After taking classes, they all do self study. Though Nariyuki has been doing his best to teach them Rizu gets depressed after getting a low score on the most recent test. A misunderstanding occurs when Rizu tells Fumino, Uruka, and Asumi that she got an E. The misunderstanding only deepens when Nariyuki tries to cheer up Rizu. Will he be able to find a way to get her grade back up and meet the requirement to get into college?

Bokuben: We Never Learn Season 2 was just as enjoyable as season 1. The anime focusing on school rather than activities outside of it really sets it apart from other high school romance anime for me. Every episode was enjoyable, and each of the characters are fun to watch. There is some fan service like a hot springs episode, and multiple bath scenes. If you enjoy romance anime I would definitely suggest giving this one a try.

Shomin Sample Specials

Miyuki Kujou answers questions sent in by viewers, animators, and characters within the show. Karen, Aika, Hakua, Reiko, and kimito all try and climb up a hill nearby. Kimito introduces the group to things they haven't heard of like yakitori and Jenga.

The Shomin Sample Specials were pretty interesting. Shomin Sample is one of those animes that I forget about, but when I see clips I come to enjoy it more and more. The fan service was kept pretty light for the specials. You do see Miyuki Kujou in a swimsuit, as well as glimpses of the girls panties as they run, but if you aren't paying close attention you might not even notice it. All in all it was pretty fun to watch, but if you haven't seen the main series you may not get some of the jokes that are told. If you enjoyed the main series I suggest giving the special episodes a try.

Castle Town Dandelion

The Sakurada family seems like a normal family on the outside. They go to school in public, participate in sports with everybody, and have their own hobbies just like everyone else. However, they all happen to be royalty, and each one has their own superpower. Rather than choosing a successor to inherit the crown, the current king has decided that the public should decide by voting. Now everyone has to campaign for their spot on the throne as well as find their own reason for being willing to rule the country.

Castle Town Dandelion was actually a lot better than I was expecting. I really liked how every episode focused on a different sibling. You get to know each of the nine characters pretty well as well as their motivations for ruling the country. Their is a beach episode, but besides that everybody dresses modestly. If you are looking for a unique slice of life anime I would highly suggest this one.
